Check FB Marketplace and the like and get to know your local sewing machine dealer - if they know what you're looking for and a deal comes through they'll often be happy to give you a heads up. In the meantime, practice, practice, practice with your regular machine and maybe try things like rolled and lettuce hems too!
This hem is done on a Coverstitch or Coverhem machine. They are VERY cool but they are pretty much a one-purpose machine. Specifically used for hems or, at home, to recreate the look of a flatlock stitch like manufacturers use on athletic wear. Your twin needle is a great alternative and the perfect accessory to use with your sewing machine to create a really nice looking hem!
