The large one, which you thought has“Ajax” on it, is a 20 Greek drachma coin from the 1970s-80s. The head is Pericles. The one with the atom is a 10 Greek drachma from the same period, and the “old guy” is Democritus (first person to describe the concept of an atom)
Bondi you are just the cutest thing! You are always a mood lifter with your lovely happy disposition and positivity, not to mention your gorgeous looks. Saying a big hello from sunny South Africa to you 🇿🇦⭐️✌️great history too

Hannie jumps up and celebrates his coins, and Zap! A lightening bolt strikes close by, melting his coins, destroying his metal detecting gear, and giving both a major headache. Or not.😁

Awesome. That must have been a major hub. I'm told, here in Westwood, was one of the biggest railroad and train stations in the state of California. I've found purple sea shells, where the train stations used to be. Now I'm on the lookout for coins too. This was a booming, centralized, town. I Love the years of history you have to work with!!
Great video! I could sense your excitement and enthusiasm through the screen. Then you gave us a great history lesson. Thank you! Looking forward to the next episode!
Thumbs to Hannie and one for yourself Lee, Back from Ibeza and I think you would miss it a lot, Got my Nemo ready to rock this weekend. Awesome finds you two have recovered, still plenty of daylight, should of kept on going. Well done Brad
There’s a wonderful film called, “Monuments Men” about a special US military unit that discovered the locations of other treasure bunkers in order to retrieve the art hidden in Germany. It’s a lovely movie. One of my favorites.

Funny story about the Witchety grubs..... my siblings and I used to dig them up all the time, when we were kids. 1 day I wanted to cook them. So I put them in the microwave. They exploded. Mum was NOT happy

There was a time when gold wasn’t marked unless it was higher quality gold, 14K or 18K. You should have that checked because it probably is gold.
