Someone please fill me in here. Is the Berg truly hated or is this just one guy's opinion? Is there something about the Berg that I'm unaware of? I love my Berg!!
Y’all nailed it, the berg is amazing at what it does. I use it about 125 and in and for jump/step putts. Thing just stops by the basket and gives me more confidence to run it. K1 soft berg is amazing.
I thought the berg was a gimmick until I found a K1 soft one at my local course with no name or number. Now it's my go to disc for 100-150 feet, it is easier to score when you constantly just have circle 1 looks because the disc just drops. ✌🏼🔥
I have 3 Bergs in my bag right now. A K1 Soft that I use for ~100 foot approach shots or real touchy approaches, a K3 hard that I throw off the tee when I want to go exactly 200 feet dead straight, and a K3 hard that I got used with a dent in it that I use as a scramble disc because it'll go 150 on a flick forehand roller out of the woods.
I've never thrown a Berg. After seeing this, I may want one. Looks like it will work great on short upshots when I need keep the disc on a straight line or hold any line I put it on.
Y’all missed the opportunity to use the Berg on forehand roller…sneaky underrated for that. And you need to run baskets with a flat forehand. It goes laser straight and will grab chains
This perfectly demonstrates why the berg is such an amazing disc. Throw it on hyzer, it goes left. Throw it flat, it goes straight, throw it on anny, it goes right (as long as you commit to the angle, it won't fight out of it either). Such a workable disc if you get the angles right. Doesn't skip, doesn't roll. Get one!
The Berg does still have the holding glide during flight, however, the entire time it flies, it's gradually stealing it's own power from the top the same way it lifts from the bottom. By the time that it has slowed in it's rotations, the Bernoulli's effect has been defeated by both the bottom and top. So, it drops from the sky. The Baobab has a similar kind of effect, however, is a beef hyzer machine with a soft side.
finally gave us what some in the comments were begging for lol loved wathcing yall rip on some bergs will be looking forward to a Stig review or Stig only round when it drops in April!

The shot where Konner says he's going to throw it in is the perfect Berg situation. Run a shot too long to putt with a little anhyzer. It dies. No 30' comeback putt.
Next time MACRO DISCS urban challenge (on macro baskets), recommend the macro tesla, undertaker, nuke, raptor, get freaky zone and Luna as putter. Lighting and contrast must be good though…
I use the berg most of my disc. But you should only use them for the right shot. The Berg is god because it fly short and it stays on the green. If you complain about its strength.. well then dont use it. We who understand the strengths will ceep throwing it. :)
Haven’t even watched the video yet but I already know you guys are going to throw all backhand and call the Berg an average disc and then throw one forehand approach shot amazingly but completely overlook it. THIS DISC IS MADE TO FOREHAND………

The Berg is the top seller Disc in Sweden. Everybody just secretly loves the Berg since it’s so forgiving. But pride takes over and you won’t admit that you are a worse disc golfer without it in your bag…

That late flip on hole 5 from Trevor is called throwing it directly into a tree earlier in the round. I know from experience

I actually putt with the berg. I had a problem blowing by the basket if I didn't catch metal and it helps not go as far for the comebacker.

Wind over 15-20mph, I step it up to a Culprit or Suspect-x; wind over 20-25mph here in central Ks I step it up to the justice of course.
