Shalom, when people call Jews " Christ killers" they don't know Yehoshua laid down His life by His own free will, He says clearly that no one took it from Him. He is God who has always chosen Good , the Good for all. We were given the freedom of choice so we couldn't blame anyone because we chose. Yehoshua chose to suffer and die to give us new life with Him, which we had lost at the beginning. Now we have a choice to accept Yehoshua our Meshiach and be lead by Him in a way of self denial so His likeness is restored in us and given to others for their good, Indeed to all His creation.
Yah, given that Jesus and his apostles were Jews the claim Jews are a Christ killers are not only ignorant but reveals the accuser does not understand the good news.
Great testimony! In Chiapas, Mexico (near border Guatemala)there are a lot of Israelíes, also there is a hostal for them. Go to Chiapas please and reach them with the Good News of Yeshua ha Mashiah!!!
When I was in college I loved being apart of international Baptist outreach. They where looking for a place to belong. I was a baby in Christ and didn't know how share Christ. That is one of my life regrets
I am not sure how that conclusion fits that passage. I do know that and bible passage may be interpreted in many ways that are righteous and true and are therefore from God. Jesus is the fulfillment of the Messianic Age in that through faith and his self sacrifice believers can live the Spirit of Love.
@donkey-headed god of Edom and Seir Compare Isaiah 53 with Mattew 27:11-14; 20, 21, 26, 27, 28, 35, 50 ) 11. Now Jesus stood before the governor. And the governor asked Him, saying, "Are You the King of the Jews?" Jesus said to him, "It is as you say." (Isaiah 53: 8 He was taken from prison and from judgment, And who will declare His generation?). 12. And while He was being accused by the chief priests and elders, He answered nothing. 13. Then Pilate said to Him, "Do You not hear how many things they testify against You?" (Isaiah 53:7 He was oppressed and He was afflicted, Yet He opened not His mouth He was led as a lamb to the slaughter, And as a sheep before its shearers is silent So H opened not His mouth). 14. But He answered not one word, so that the governor marveled greatly. 20. But the chief priests and elders persuaded the multitudes that they should ask for Barabbas and destroy Jesus. 21. The governor answered and said to them, "Which of the two do you want me to release to you?" They said, Barabbas!" (Isaiah 53:3-4 He is despised and rejected by men, A Man of sorrows and acquainted with grief). 26. Then he released Barabbas to them; and when he had scourged Jesus, he delivered Him to be crucified. 27. Then the soldiers of the governor took Jesus into the Praetorium and gathered the whole garrison around Him. 28. And they stripped Him and put a scarlet robe on Him. (Isaiah 53:5 But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; The chastisement for our peace was upon Him, And by His stripes we are healed). 35. Then they crucified Him, and divided His garments, casting lots that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the prophet: "They divided My garments among them, And for My clothing they cast lots." (Psalm 22:18) (Isaiah 53:10 Yet it pleased the LORD (found it necessary) to bruise Him; He has put Him to grief). When you make His soul an offering for sin, He shall see His seed, He shall prolong His days, And the pleasure of the LORD shall prosper in His hand.) 50. And Jesus cried out again with a loud voice, and yielded up His spirit. Leviticus 17:11 For the life of the flesh is in the blood, and I have given it to you upon the altar to make atonement for your souls; for it is the blood that makes atonement for the soul. Almost every sacrifice that was brought before God was shedding of blood and since Jewish people no longer offer slaughtered animals so what then can you offer a Holy God?
@@kerwinbrown4180 Well, you have to read the text before. If you skip that you come to a wrong conclusion. Even if you only read 53... in 53:8 it literally is in plural in the Hebrew text: "For the transgression of my people, they were stricken" Because it's about Israel, just like God says many times throughout Isaiah.
@@samael5782 You are not interpretation correctly. God says many things with few words. All that is important is that the interpretation is true. Peter, a Jew of the First Century, quoted Isaiah 53. I believe it is the four meanings of interpretation " literal, allusive, allegorical, and mystical. practiced by Jews and Christians of that time.
Isaiah 53:8 For he was cut off from the land of the living. Israel was never cut off from the land of the living. Clearly Isaiah 53 is talking about Jesus the living God.
