I just had the same question about a month ago and as a result of my interfacing with the Hoky Spirit I suddenly knew in every cell of my being that Jesus is the Messiah and I wept for days off and on. I had the same experience sitting in church as a boy listening to everyone gossip and talk about sports, golf, business, stuff they wanted etc. I explored other things. Found the Messiah and God of Abraham on the radio later on in life. I think Messiah in the Passover was one of the most amazing revelations to me as well Praise God!

I would start with Genesis 3; then, I would read the Wisdom Literature of the Old Testament (particularly Ecclesiastes; Job; certain Psalms; certain parts of Isaiah [especially chapters 40-55]); then, I'd note what Yeshua Messiah said about this; then, I'd note what Paul, Peter, and James wrote about this; then, I'd read what Revelation says about this. Where can I find the profecy where it said the messiah will come before the destruccion of the second temple... I've read the old testament.. probably I passed the information... Where can I find it? Or is it information only Jewish people know?
"Then after the sixty-two weeks the Messiah will be cut off and have nothing, and the people of the prince who is to come will destroy the city and the sanctuary. And its end will come with a flood; even to the end there will be war; desolations are determined" (Daniel 9:26).
That is a weak excuse as he chose to sacrifice himself that we would be like God in true righteousness and holiness even as we are called to be. It is done by faith that become as mature as his when we continue to strive to fit through the narrow gate. Note: I reference some passages in the New Testament.
@@lawrenceallen8096 Actually, I was referencing Ephesians 4:24 which is about putting on the new man that lives by the Spirit and Luke 23:24 which is Jesus' instruction to strive hard to get through the narrow gate. The result of living by the Spirit is a believers sins are forgotten according to Ezekiel 18:20-22. What you are references is that Jesus chose to pay the wages of sin which is death so that believers would receive the Spirit as a result of obeying his teachings. It is by the grace of God that one receives and lives by the Spirit and God gives that gift to those that persevere in striving to grow completely mature in their faith.
