My first character when i started in WoW was a Draenei.... so, this music remind me the past, like the childhood. I sense the same feeling that you, dude.
This is true... for me I have so much more nostalgia with Eversong Woods... but that is because I have spent so much more time over there than anywhere else 🙃
At the beginning of this year, its been 10 years. Hearing this music makes me incredible nostalgic. I never knew, that a virtual place can feel like home.
+Grizzly Heals When i was leveling in that zone the song at 11:00 reminded me of something and i couldn't put my finger on it. I finally figured out it has a similar melody to "Soma" by the smashing pumpkins. Azuremist Isle has some really nostalgic music for me
Those memories when you were leveling here as a Draenei. It's just amazing and the zone is absolutely beautiful. I sometimes go to Exodar/Azuremyst Isle on my Warrior just to feel the magic. I wish more people was there but i need to say, i actually like the thing that the zone feels very ''empty''. Good job Blizzard with BC. You did everything amazing. Let's hope for another expansion about this in the near future.
Heading this I really want to play TBC or Wrath classic to get back here. But so much has changed since then. I have a real job and family now. I just wouldn’t have the time play like I used too. Just have to hold on to these memories.
I am a Night Elven druid, and I remember the first time I set my foot, or paw as I traveled there by the boat in cat form, to Azuremyst's shores like it had happened yesterday. That place had tranquility that not even Teldrassil featured. Do not get me wrong, I love Darnassus, Dolanaan and Shadowglen, but this place... It makes me feel like I should enjoy every moment to its fullest. Like I should just lay down on a rock, overlooking a bay, see the sun set, the moon rise, and just lay there.
A girl I dated used to tell me how much she loved the music on Azuremyst when we'd play but I never went out there and didn't know what she was talking about. 7 years later I turned this on to listen to on a whim while I play Ark Survival Evolved and I get what she was talking about, this music is beautiful
Reminds me of my story. I started at nightelf when TBC was yet released and wanted to know, where this ship goes to from Auberdine. Everytime I wanted to found out, it says to me "The Burning Crusade needed" and I was portet to the graveyard of Bashal'aran. I didn't regret it, that I bought TBC - questing the draenei zones and, of course, later fell in love with Zangarmarsh and Nagrand.
Doesn't sound lame at all. I understand you ;( I once had friends that were always with me doing crazy things. Without telling me they stoped playing forever. Never saw them again in years now ..
This zone is so beautiful and the music is so relaxing ! It's my favourite place in Azeroth ! So peauceful... And this music is maybe, no, It IS the best music !
This music makes me remember my first days in WoW. I chose to play Draenei so I had to buy TBC expansion and I didn't used the free days which came with basic pack but I don't regret it :) I love Azuremyst Isle and I often come here thou my characters are high lvl and have nothing to do there, but I feel so peacefull in the Isle.
Starter zone, isolated island, no easy way to get there, no hubs of any sort, SW and IF are much more convenient capital cities...You get the picture. But even then that's maybe why I like this zone that much more, because it's not spoiled by all the shiny paladins and their silly duels everywhere. It's peaceful, the way it ought to be.
Very peaceful. I imagine morning on the Puget Sound. Fog rolls off the water. Mt. Rainier silhouetted by the early morning light. A pod of killer whales appears.
Even through I'm playing a troll, I usually go to azuremyst isle for a little in game relax. I climb on the top of a crystal or mountain and turn on the music. Very good area.
Yep, I agree. And that's what they are doing now, taking their time and making sure the game will come out with the quality that they seek. It's gonna be fantastic I think!
love the music for this zone so much i even made a few of my toons draenei lvl'd them till they were to high for the area then faction change to horde with the rest of my characters
Not empty anymore with the cross-realm thing, it's a nice change by Blizzard seeing players everywhere, and when the virtual realms come in the future patch is going to bring back some of the social aspect the game lost over the last couple of years.
I loved this area because nobody was around and I would quest for days sometimes without seeing another single soul. It was a wonderful place to play the game in peace. No auction house stuffed with people forcing you to do that stupid train whistle thing. No Horde to gank you for giggles. Just the entire place all to yourself.
Beauty tends to be in the places hardest to get to or in the most secluded of areas. WoW followed that ideal pretty well. Just too far away to be utilized outside of starting players. Easily one of the best zones in the game in relation to landscape/beauty and music.
Aye, me too! And I really think that it will. I played FFXIV when it was out and have been following the development of it ever since. It's starting to look really good!
AH yes, when TBC fist launched.I always wanted the alliance to have a shaman race. *Damn..i thought the draenei were supossed to be ugly as sin(SInce they were broken in WC3)..they actually look kinda hilariously good, kinda like some gentle furless bear..im gonna make female. "2 seconds later".... "Unzip"(Ive moved away form that kinda stuff now, chillax!) yeah.I did make a female Draenei Shaman. And this zone was AWESOME for its time.
They did a great job on the Blood elves aswell. Wished they will once re-model everything. Also I hope they will re-model the races (for example look at the new Tyrande model.. It's perfect..)
Excellent! Squeenix need to get something fantastic out there given their recent 'failures' and sudden bad reputation. I feel they kinda rushed the first version of FFxiv but seem to be taking their time on this one, trying to get it right, so to speak. I hope that's the case anyway.
@haarald93 And yes i know what is pandaria in my comment in other words " TBC was one of the greatest expasions ever and nothing can´t pass it like pandaria, but o well i guess it´s a shame.
Is it just me, or Blizz doesn't make this kind of music anymore? From Cata onwards, WoW music is just a war drums riff-raff or overly produced orchestral pieces, with very few exceptions.
Almost a year late, but I totally agree. There are some good Cata tracks, but I'd argue it ended even earlier, with Wrath. It makes me sad because this type of music is my absolute favorite, so chill, so serene. Gives you that sense of exploration, the unknown. These days some of the WoW tracks even sound like stuff you'd hear in an action movie. We went from the humble adventurer, to now the world saving living god protagonist hero.
okay this may sound lame but, me and this one guy had a thing on WoW and he was a night elf dk and I was still a level 23 human pally. He took me here and showed me around and like I now have a serious attachment to this place. I miss him and World of warcraft. so many good memories.
May your days be long and your hardships few
The Naaru have not forgotten us
But we have quite forget them. The impassivity towards Xe'ra's death still haunts the realm of the Light.
I get a serious case of nostalgia whenever I listen to TBC music. Azuremyst Isle is so tranquil and soothing.
Just llike me in crystal forest or other places from Woltk, also this one was epic, reminds me of some hardships...
My first character when i started in WoW was a Draenei.... so, this music remind me the past, like the childhood. I sense the same feeling that you, dude.
Such good times.
This is true... for me I have so much more nostalgia with Eversong Woods... but that is because I have spent so much more time over there than anywhere else 🙃
The Legion's end draws near...
Chronakai Kristor
I love this zone, music and Draenai.
May the light embrace you.

So much hope , things to discover - I remember the beginning of levelling a dranei - it was bliss
Azuremyst Isle has some of the best tranquil music in the game 11:00 being my favorite.
Grizzly Heals Yessssssssssssssss!
+Grizzly Heals When i was leveling in that zone the song at 11:00 reminded me of something and i couldn't put my finger on it. I finally figured out it has a similar melody to "Soma" by the smashing pumpkins. Azuremist Isle has some really nostalgic music for me
I can't believe draenei are so underrated

The legion will fall

+Dawid - OverAesthetic
Actually, it;s "Khronokai Khrystor" - which directly means "Eternal Glory" - a "hello" for Draenei.
+Dawid - OverAesthetic Thank you :-)
My friends would all ask me, "Why do you quest there???" Because I love the music!
+Rachel Z I have this music in my Alliance garrison, so calm and peaceful.
@@Wowmusicable Warlords of draneor is my favorite expantion.
oh all that memories, blizz design goes so deep into atmosphere... tbc was the best xpack
Every time I listen to this I get the flash back to my first draenei. I want to do it all over again just like then.
Those memories when you were leveling here as a Draenei. It's just amazing and the zone is absolutely beautiful. I sometimes go to Exodar/Azuremyst Isle on my Warrior just to feel the magic. My favourite all time. Also the Draenei, the place...
Sadly one of the most forgotten places in WoW
I plan on spending so much more time here especially when I can pay for WoW!
5:00 is magical.
I remember coming back here to tame the Kurken...Such a beautiful atmosphere.
When I first made my Draenei Warrior I loved playing in these zones and their athmospheres are truly stunning. So beautiful!
Heading this I really want to play TBC or Wrath classic to get back here. But so much has changed since then. I have a real job and family now. I just wouldn’t have the time play like I used too. Just have to hold on to these memories.
Long life, good health!
I can only imagine the music in the afterlife to be very similiar to this.
The Fart Song oh damn , i hope so. this music is just incredible. it would be amazing exploring the afterlife to this (especially 7:30 to the end)
maybe because it's at the edge, thats what makes it so soothing and awesome to be there :>
everytime I hear this music, the amount of rest and relaxation I get
This music, is absolutely great.
I am a Night Elven druid, and I remember the first time I set my foot, or paw as I traveled there by the boat in cat form, to Azuremyst's shores like it had happened yesterday. That place had tranquility that not even Teldrassil featured.

Never could understand why this zone is always empty... still, maybe that's why I love it here so much. That and the peaceful tranquility;)
7:36... so relaxing.
6:45 Sooo Enchanting
ahh the nostalgia feels, just listening to this takes me back to playing my first draenei hunter taming one of those ravengers, good times
A girl I dated used to tell me how much she loved the music on Azuremyst when we'd play but I never went out there and didn't know what she was talking about. 7 years later I turned this on to listen to on a whim while I play Ark Survival Evolved and I get what she was talking about, this music is beautiful
i love this place and the race is my favorite, this place has such beautiful and relaxing music
Reminds me of my story. I started at nightelf when TBC was yet released and wanted to know, where this ship goes to from Auberdine. Love this track.. especially with a rain track at the same time
Still a fantastic zone to start leveling a dreanei. the music makes it so cool to come there.
Best starting zone of all races. The quests, the whole environment and of course the music all play well together to create a unique atmosphere.
Doesn't sound lame at all. I understand you ;( I once had friends that were always with me doing crazy things. Without telling me they stoped playing forever. Never saw them again in years now ..
After a long day at work, its nice to listen to this and think back on better times..
Always thought the music in this zone was the best...Soo relaxing!

Pure beauty. Dream...
I love my draenei. :)
This game will eventually die out, but I know I will still enjoy listening to this music when I'm an old geezer.
Joke’s on you, here we are again in classic TBC!
Im Horde since early 2008 but azuremyst isle is one of best zones in game.Music is also magic! For Sylwanas! For the horde!
Very peaceful. I imagine morning on the Puget Sound. Fog rolls off the water. Mt. Rainier silhouetted by the early morning light. A pod of killer whales appears.
always loved this zone, one of my favorites used to walk around yust to listen to the wonderfull music!
Even through I'm playing a troll, I usually go to azuremyst isle for a little in game relax. I climb on the top of a crystal or mountain and turn on the music. Very good area.
Azuremyst Isle Lv 1-85!
i can listen to this for hours ^^
They need to add this to the Ambient channel on Pandora Radio!!! What great stuff this is!!
Really amazing!
Yep, I agree. And that's what they are doing now, taking their time and making sure the game will come out with the quality that they seek. It's gonna be fantastic I think!
the edge of the world should be a decolate place...azuremyst isle fits in perfectly :D
This music is really a relaxing music, i love it
I wonder what instrument is playing here, the flute style bit, id like to find more music like this
in case you're still wondering, i think it's called a duduk, it's like an armenian kind of flute. beautiful sounding instrument.
andoba91 ty
love the music for this zone so much i even made a few of my toons draenei lvl'd them till they were to high for the area then faction change to horde with the rest of my characters
I like to improv on my flute to this music, it's a nice eerie/ethereal background.
I play Horde, but when i level my Allies I would come here.
still, maybe that's why I love it here so much. That and the peaceful tranquility;) (im sure about that i have the same ^^)
Not empty anymore with the cross-realm thing, it's a nice change by Blizzard seeing players everywhere, and when the virtual realms come in the future patch is going to bring back some of the social aspect the game lost over the last couple of years.
thanks, could'nt find that exodar piece

Oh Blizzard why did you have to fall... it's generally sad..
not lame but kinda cute :3
@vadomendy its really a shame that you don't know that and play wow..

This would be amazing if it didn't have that scary part.
TBC was reaaaaally the best expansion ever. Pandaria What is Pandaria?
It shall not.
@haarald93 I´m playing wow for 5 days... Shame?? lol....
I prefer blood elf musics
