I'm very, very pale and cool-toned; even paler than you are. 😊 The only contour powder I've found that is light and cool enough for me is made by a vegan line called Pumpkin and Poppy (on Etsy). They make Oak Bark contour powder. Hopefully this helps someone!

The Charlotte Tilbury was the best I had tried at that point, but it looked like dirt on my face, even with my light hand. My mom even noticed, and gently said something. Wheat is my perfect contour for my perfect shadow. It’s also my perfect eyeshadow, especially when I’m in a hurry and can’t do a full eye look. I love the Inglot sculpting powder in 504 - it's great. Nice cool tone, easy to blend, buildable... I have the Kevyn Aucoin sculpting powder too but I almost always reach for the Inglot.
i second this! arna- there is inglot stores in some westfield shopping centres. you can get just the pan with a magnetic back to pop in a z palette. i believe it cost 16 dollars? super beautiful contour shade
The Nyx HD Blush in Taupe is my ride or die contour product, but I adore the MakeupGeek contour powder as well. It's honestly a shame you don't hear more people talking about the makeup geek contour powders because the quality and pricing is phenomenal AND they have such a fantastic shade range! Tried to watch a few videos on yt for pale skin contouring tutorials, you are the only one pleasant to watch. one had veneers so big it made me uncomfortable, the other fake lips, the other way too much make up she was like a plastic doll. you are natural, pretty, light on the make up, EXTREMELY easy and to watch and pleasant on the eyes. pretty hard to find something like that on yt for make up tutorials, well done!
17:33- Nars contour blush duo- I use the lighter shade to diffuse the darker one so the contour is seamless. Olympia lighter shade makes the darker shade a tad more neutral /less reddish.
I didn't even think to look for the Nyx taupe blush in the HD formula, I thought they only had it in that other formula. Silly me. I'm currently using Essence Sun Club Matt Bronzing powder in the Blondes shade. I love it! It's only $5 at Target in the U.S. and it's a huge pan. This video was very helpful, thank you!

There is a product from manic panic that is white which you can mix a few drops into foundations that are too dark. Its white and its called dream something? I have forgotten the shade name lol hope this helps x

Great suggestions Arna. The contour powder that I'm obsessed with at the moment has to be the Burberry Earthy Glow No 7 blush (I think that's the name of it). It's pricey- in the $40-$44 USD range but I love the color and I invested into 1 contour product that's neutral toned. It looks great with both cool and warm toned makeup. Also, I have tried the Kevyn Aucoin powder in Sephora and it really is a lovely powder. xx Melissa
This is so incredibly helpful! Also, I recently discovered the Sephora Collection Colourful Face Powders blush in color Tranquil is AMAZING for contouring and it's very similar to Taupe by NYX but cooler. It's a very nice greyish brown color perfect for pale skin :)
Hey, Arna! I'm super fair, like you, and I love the Becca contouring powder that comes in the compact with Opal. Opal isn't light enough for me, so like you said with the Nars product, it's a drag, because I have to buy both, but the contouring powder is great.
I really want to try the NYX HD blush for contouring, but trying to get it is so hard. It always seems to be sold out. I've never contoured, so obviously want to get something cheaper to start with. (Doesn't help that my Priceline just has the HD blushes in a big bin, so it's almost impossible to find anything)
The Catrice Prime and Fine Professional Contouring Palette 010 Ashy Radiance also works quite well for pale skin. I hardly ever use the highlighter for my everyday look but I really like the dark shade.

Please help me crack the code to using Illamasqua's Hollow! I like the colour, but the pigment itself is so stiff, I find it difficult to apply, and it always ruins my foundation. Is there some trick I could use to make it more creamy and therefore useable? An oil perhaps? I'm stumped.

Can this one be used one an everyday basis? :) I actually love the Anastasia Beverly Hills Contour kit (light to medium). It's funny that there is an Essence shadow for contouring and highlighting on pale skin! I recently found a contouring shade from Sephora called tranquil, not sure if its available in Australia, but it is very cool toned.
It is not only about how fair you are, but what your undertone is. There are violet-ish contouring products out there and these do not match warm undertones. Like Nyx So Taupe. If you are cool toned, do not use golden brown contouring products. She is slightly cool toned but also neutral.

The stick is a little more cool toned so it works better for contouring and the powder is a perfect bronzer.

My favorite contours for pale skin are Inglot 505 and Dolce&Gabbana 22Tan, you should check them 👍🏻

Please help me crack the code to using Illamasqua's Hollow! I like the colour, but the pigment itself is so stiff, I find it difficult to apply, and it always ruins my foundation. Is there some trick I could use to make it more creamy and therefore useable? An oil perhaps? I'm stumped.

Omg, I bought some brushes off Beautybay 2 weeks ago and they got here today so quicker than I thought but I was almost gonna buy that makeup geek contour product but then I was like oh well I haven't heard of it much so idk if it's pale enough 😬 so wish I'd got it now ! 😂🙈😳

Hey Arna! :) how are you? Hope you're fine :) What about the NARS powder in the shade Laguna? Do you like it or not as you've used it one time in one of your videos? Can this one be used one an everyday basis? :) I actually love the Anastasia Beverly Hills Contour kit (light to medium). The shade "fawn" is so great to contour with and the shade java is so great to warm up the face :D I often use the shade java instead of a blush :) you should definitely check this kit out! It's funny that there is an Essence shadow for contouring and highlighting on pale skin! I recently found a contouring shade from Sephora called tranquil, not sure if its available in Australia, but it is very cool toned.

It is not only about how fair you are, but what your undertone is. There are violet-ish contouring products out there and these do not match warm undertones. Like Nyx So Taupe. If you are cool toned, do not use golden brown contouring products. She is slightly cool toned but also neutral.
