I ate 3 bags & felt nothing but a lil sugar high!? 😂 jk I know they are not THC infused--but i did think at 1st they were😅 Loved when Shawn shared about an email he got saying "they on their 3rd bag & still not feeling anything" cracks me up!! 😂
@@CoryG1981then u not a true gummie bear loving human u just a stoner. 😅 Totally joking ... i think be cool if he did do a (THC 1) or even better a (Psilocybin blend) as he has talked about his journey with it. I still haven't tripped yet only micro dosed but i would buy (gummie shrooms) from Shawn as i trust him & would hope they really hit like his show & with the finest ingredients like his guests 😊😅
Forgiveness sets you Free. The Amazing part is Jesus helps you also forget. If it came from Parents look at how they were raised, they didn’t know better and didn’t try to be better, If it was trauma someone else inflicted, set them free. God will handle them. Trust that. God Bless and Good luck.
@@slappy8941Not in the slightest. 😂 You should probably listen again. I’m curious how you think your theory plays out if you forgive someone who’s deceased? Are you telling their ghost they can come for you?
I’m an hour in, but as another man who was abused by two separate men in Mendenhall, MS, this episode is hitting extremely close to home for me. I’m so sorry for what you went through and I’m so hopeful of creating a new “bloodline” wrought by faith in the blood of our Savior now that I’ve seen another man who’s walked through that.
As a fellow child who grew up in a very abusive environment, when he said “Kids who are born in the fire won’t be burned in the heat of life” gave me chills. That was so profound and I thank you for sharing your story.
Grown man here. Listening. SOBBING at this man's story with his father at the end of his life. You, sir, are the epitome of forgiveness and strong faith. God bless you.
I didn't know my traumatic upbringing wasn't normal until high school. I never talked about it to anyone except my siblings because we thought how we were being raised was normal. Not until I met one of my best friends and we exchanged childhood stories. She cried and asked how I was happy and functioning like an average teen. That's when I realized my reality was vastly different than my peers. Once the veil was off my eyes it just opened so much pain. Sometimes I wished I didn't come to that realization. I was happy in the dark. When I became a wife then a mother that changed everything. I'm forever grateful to have that veil ripped from me. I can raise a beautiful, faithful, loving, functional family. 💜 to all those who have been there you're not alone
I’m so happy for you. 😊 The best thing you’ll hear from your kids when they are older is them saying to you or their friends is “I had a great childhood” ❤
I can identify! I thought everyone had alcoholic mothers, heavy handed fathers, had to endured sa, had alcoholic & drug addicts for siblings🤯 At 13, while hiding in a dark closet under clothes I swore to myself that I would NEVER do that to my kids!!! It took a fair amount of counseling, the Lord above, marrying a good & kind man, having 4 kids & teaching them ourselves to fully help break the cycle…. I’m a happy loving person who forgave my abusers, they can never live ‘rent free’ in my mind! We live across the country from my 3 siblings, will never ever see them again! Our kids are happy healthy & loving solid adults ❤️ Hubby & I are married 43 years, and still like each other😉 Though I like wine, I hold myself to a super tight standard and my kids have never seen me drunk! In braking the cycle…Easy? Not so much at times to do so, but WORTH IT … AND…to find I LOVE MYSELF (also a pretty cool person I am 🤩)
It took the Holy Spirit in me to enable me to forgive my dad. My 3 year old granddaughter was sleeping beside me and I picked up her tiny, sweet, innocent little hand. The thought came to me that my dad had a hand like that once. And I realized that he too had gone through some awful things. Somehow that thought released me from all my hatred, bitterness and unforgiveness. I became a Christian at the age of 62. My brother had prayed for over 40 years for me!! God is mighty to save. Now my daughter and granddaughter are saved also. Genesis 50:20
I’ve been battling with God in accepting him as the truth. I always feel him calling to me through some of your videos. However, this testimony of forgiveness sent chills through me. I feel God has been calling to me through you Shawn and your guests. Thank you for bringing this to us. I really needed to hear this.
You know what? I’ve experienced this, GOD will draw closer to you if you draw closer to him! That’s in the Bible! It is the truth if you are interested in that. It’s free and amazing! It’s also very disturbing and dangerous, what you will come up against. Do not expect the devil to ignore you when you are strong in faith. Good news is he can’t damage you enough to stop you and the bad news is you’ll be more of a target. Don’t worry, you’ll have the ultimate 👆backup!
@benstephens1972 Ben, Shawn was the same way. God used so many guests on Shawn's show that spoke truth to him and realized it wasn't a coincidence. This could be your Devine invitation. God bless you.
Victor Marx , my family & I love you!!! I was fortunate enough to meet you at church, you spoke your testimony. My nephews also trained at your dojo under yourself & family. I have gotten to know two of your children that I love. When I messed my life up, & found myself incarcerated. Your kids sent me your book, which I read from cover to cover. I am forever grateful to you & yours. Thank you . God bless.
I was mentally and physically abused as a child by my mother and the numerous people she brought around and I never thought I would consider forgiving her but the way he put on why he forgave his father has made my mind spin a hundred different ways. This episode has touched me so much thank you for this I have no words
I listen to lots of shows like this while I’m at work. This one right here is the closest I’ve ever been to bawling in my cubicle. The profound and all-consuming love of God is so evident in this man’s testimony. I am so thankful to have heard it. We defeat Satan by the Blood of the Lamb and the power of our testimony (Rev. 12:11)
I met Victor at a men’s gathering at a church in ocean city New Jersey when I was 23. It took everything I had to hold back tears while surrounded by men doing the same thing listening to this man tell his story and how God changed his life. And the work he does to rescue children. I’m very grateful that I met him. Awesome interview!
I think the reason so many people struggle with forgiveness is because they don't understand the true definition of it. Victor, you defined it beautifully. It doesn't mean you're letting the person who hurt you off the hook. It simply means your letting them off YOUR hook and putting them on GODS hook. Forgiveness is not an emotion. It's a decision. So you don't have to all of a sudden trust that person or be besties with them. When i heard it explained to me this way it made all the difference.
Same as how most people don't understand how God is able to forgive sinners... that they go on Jesus' "hook" as in Jesus was set fourth by God to be the "propitiation" (took the wrath in our place) for our sins.
Forgiveness is for you. It is for your own sake. When you forgive, you let go of the pain. Then you can move on with your life. You forgive for your own sake, not for the one who hurt you.
He really forgave his father when he prayed for him and then told him he loved him. God had to get him to see his father's soul was going to spend eternity in hell. That makes you love people enough to share the gospel with them even when they don't really want to hear it. 1 Corinthians 15:1-4 KJV Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; [2] by which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain. [3] For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; [4] and that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures: Romans 3:22-26 KJV even the righteousness of God which is by faith of Jesus Christ unto all and upon all them that believe: for there is no difference: [23] for all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God; [24] being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus: [25] whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God; [26] to declare, I say, at this time his righteousness: that he might be just, and the justifier of him which believeth in Jesus. Romans 6:23 KJV For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. Please admit to God that you've sinned against Him and then place your faith in the blood of Jesus Christ for the remission of your sin today. God bless you!
Only a few minutes in and I heard “adoption is the only childhood trauma your supposed to be happy and grateful for” and burst into tears. As an adoptee I didn’t even realize how badly I needed to hear that. Thanks for this podcast and amazing humans you bring on your platform. It makes a difference in people’s lives and this often unsettling, and confusing world we live it 🙏
That was the absolute most profound, heavy, and terrifying interview I've ever seen. They way you talk to people is so genuine and real. I got respect for you Shawn Ryan... keep up the awesome work
Is there ANY corroborating evidence for this? I'm getting real doubts as to whether this is true....I hope NOT but I am seeing a lot of red flags with his story/behavior
@@yoursofullofitha7262Victor would tell you he couldn't do that in his own strength either. It was only because of the Lord Jesus Christ working in Victor's heart that he was able to forgive his tormentor.
My God this interview is validating. I have said this often, I will not darken or harden my heart. If I do, I am no different than the abusers. Victor has done the work. This is my type of people who inspires me and continues to remind me I am more than what has happened to me. Yes, no matter what trauma one has endured, it can be overcome. Trauma is not an excuse to harm another. No one need to hurt another because they’ve been harmed, if anything, learn to not hurt another by forgiving, trusting, and loving another. Give to another what was not given to you is a healing gift to your soul and to another. It takes a hell of a lot of work but it is worth rediscovering and gaining one’s life. God bless. 💕
Im probably 40 minutes in… and Ive been teary eyed already, I’ve smiled and I have been totally dumbstruck... Victor, I have mad respect for you and Eileen. One thing is for sure: God loves you very very much and I pray His protection over you every day, in all you do. For you and Eileen. Also - THANK YOU. For every child you guys have saved, held, hugged, protected. Shawn - thank you to you too. I know this one will touch you too. Absolute respect. The world is a far better place with you guys in it.
Makes the boook Angela's ashes, look like a cake walk. My story though a longer duration of abuse falls somewhere between your guest & that book. So many people have suffered & have horrible stories. I forgave but the abuse ruined compartments of my life. Some compartments I rose above it & lived a somewhat normal life as seen from the outside looking in.
Most people grow up thinking there is no way someone so evil could really exist...no one could really do this to a child. What an amazing man Victor turned out to be. He truly turned his pain into power to help so many people. God bless him ❤
Bad abuse survivor here. But im deeply hurt and humbled by this mans extreme experiences. God bless you. You inspire me to continue to grow as a man and be an even better step father. My daughter rocks and deserves the best love, empathy, guidance & raising a dad can provide with a mix of mostly old school and many new school values.
Yes. I've had a hard time with this because my son ,my husband and most my family are dead. I still get very angry at God. It's a battle I have not won , as of yet
@kathyturner1431 i know alot of what you are feeling except for it's my mom, dad, grandparents, aunts uncles and most of that was before my mid 20s. I only have my son, thank God for him. A half sister and a couple of aunts and cousins but we aren't close. Its extremely hard trying to make it through life on my own. All of the loss I've had to endure made my heart cold to an extent and almost afraid to live, in a sense. I'm trying to work on my heart though. I'm trying to get closer to God again. I pray we all can overcome and enjoy life.
This is so interesting to me. The most healing thing I ever did was apologize to my father for anything I had ever done to jeopardize our relationship. A man who did some horrible things to me. I didn’t owe him an apology, but it had a profound impact on me. Like a huge weight was just lifted off my shoulders. And he didn’t say sorry back, he didn’t take accountability. And it didn’t matter. I forgave him.
I am so proud of you. I hope one day I have the strength and understanding to do the same. Forgiveness is my weakness bc it makes me feel weaker than the transgression itself.. if that makes sense. God bless you.
Excellent! Btw, I did not think it was too dramatic, or R-rated. I am an older woman, conservative. It was encouraging to see how God rescued him, and is rescuing others through him. The forgiveness section was very impactful, especially talking about his stepfather.
I was in the Dr office for a va appointment and had to pause to keep from breaking down in front of the entire waiting room. It was one of the most powerful things I have ever heard, and I thought I had seen and heard a lot. This man is truly a blessing from God, especially in today's times. God truly has a way of taking your pain to use for his glory. He is living proof. Keep up the good work, Shawn it will be hard to top this one. May God bless both of you in all of you do. In this dark world, we need people like you shining God light in those dark places
This is the most powerful interview I have ever watched!!! This man’s ability to forgive his abusive father is something I’m still coping with. He has opened my eyes to forgiveness…..thank you 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼
He's so right about the forgiveness part. I've been shocked at what the Holy Spirit has allowed me to do. Never thought in a million years I could be a care taker for the very person who allowed so much harm to come to me as a child. Best spiritual experience of my life and probably hers as well, because she was so sorry, but at the end she knew all was well. Very brave of him to tell his story.
Thank you Vic for sharing your story, that took a lot of guts and bravery. ❤ "When a brave man takes a stand, the spines of others are often stiffened". Billy Graham
Incredibly powerful moment when Victor defined redemption. If forgiveness is for you, redemption is for you as well. Victor is a great example of God taking the bitterness in a life and using it to bring life to thousands.
Can’t even fathom how he kept it together. My story is nothing compared to Victor’s and I’m 73 and still struggling everyday. Thank God for him to be that strong> Your show is awesome and one of the most important shows on TH-cam!
This is the most maddening, sad and powerful story I’ve ever heard. I’m 39 with a 5 year old daughter and this brings tears to my eyes hearing what this man had to endure at her age
I looked at this thumbnail of the video and thought “oh there’s no way this guy beat the acts he has followed”. I’m not even 20 mins in and I’ve already learned an epic boatload from this. Your absolutely crushing it!!! You’ve helped me through the absolute hardest times in my life, between grieving for my mom and becoming sober I’ve needed all the help a man needs.. you have given me that, thank you Shawn.
I am so sorry for your loss. As a mum who is grieving two sons - congratulations on your sobriety - it is no small feat to wake up when everything is on fire. Do not despise the day of small beginnings. As a mum, proud of you, warrior. I know your mother is rejoicing your victories❤
I often wondered if my forgiveness was complete. I hurt even years after but I knew one thing, I wanted them to go to heaven and not hell. When you said you knew forgiveness when you wanted them to go to heaven, that really helped me. You are a blessing Victor and I thank you. Peace and grace.🙏
Shawn i appreciate you using your platform to make awareness and bring light to a subject most people can’t comprehend or choose not to comprehend. People think things like this only happen in third world countries. We can’t just suppress and hide the evil that is everywhere. My wife has gone through intense childhood trauma and I have grown as a person through her. Everything this guest talks about is now so real to me. Being in love with someone who has suffered trauma like this isn’t easy but the depth in life that she has brought me is life changing. I hope this type of content can continue to reach every demographic of people. To let them know they’re not alone and that there is good in all of us if we choose. We can be loved and be the end of generational abuse.
Thank you so much - both of you - for this show! I came from an extremely abusive father in every way, shape and form. It wasn't until after I had my son 16 years ago, that I was truly able to heal all that pain I had carried for 35 plus years. I never gave it a thought that not only was I the father I never had, but that concurrently, I was "changing the trajectory of my own bloodline". When you said those words Shawn, I had to stop the video cause tears started running down my face (and I rarely ever cry). God bless you both. So happy our mutual friend Kevin Peterson tied me on to you.
There is generational trauma in my family as well but my childhood trauma was nowhere as evil as what Victor experienced. I have to admit that the part that brought me to tears is when Victor spoke of telling his father about Jesus and how he didn't want his father to spend eternity in hell. Listening to that drew out so many tears. I consider myself a pretty tuff and stoic man but that really got me
This interview with Victor Marx is one of the most powerful & profound interviews I have ever seen. Can’t recommend it enough, especially for a person who has endured abuse. God bless this great man for sharing his story with us.
Wow, telling your dad I Love You was hard to watch because I had to live that in my life. At 40+ years old was the first time I called my dad on the phone and told him "I Love You"-that was a long story but it has helped so many since giving that testimony to free others with forgiveness is as powerful as it gets. I felt free and happy but then My dad came to where I lived and my whole family came to forgiveness and now I know what the Love of God and Family actually meant. And I touched forgiveness at its core, As tears strike my shirt I thank you for sharing your story and bringing this back to my memories.
Probably the greatest, most impactful video I’ve watched on TH-cam. I’ve already sent this to several friends and told them it’s time spent better than on a movie. Thank you!
Shawn- imagine if nobody ever got to tell their story, nobody would ever know what’s going on. Especially other victims.! I can’t think of another person that these men and women would open up and tell their story to. The love and compassion from all your subscribers, who are commenting across the world from all walks of life proves to me and gives me hope that strangers authentically have compassion, sympathy, empathy for what happens to someone we don’t even know. Everybody has a story to tell no matter how tragic and you bringing this to light is something that we need to hear as hard as it can be so they can learn to fight back in life and don’t play the “victim “ their whole life or repeat the offense but learn and grow from it and defeat the evil that’s always lurking! (i’m sorry I don’t know how to word what I wanna say) I guess just thank you for your channel and helping everybody out there because just look at your comments there’s a lot of love out there! And for all your guests, especially this month thank you for telling your story you’re talking to the right guy!
His accounts of abuse are making me physically sick. I have a son who is this man’s age when he was abused. It’s mind-boggling that humans this evil can walk this earth. I wish I could save that little boy so bad.
Victor, no child should ever have to go through what you did. My heart goes out to you! Thank you for sharing your story and going on to help others who are suffering from this abuse.
Think about the fact that right now millions of child are going through the same things and even worst. Satanist dominates the world. His stepfather was one, practicing witchraft.
Great video Shawn, loved Victors perspective ... I just watched a documentary on the "Montauk Project" ... these programs operated under many different names across the country ... scary, I was a product of divorce, alcoholism and mental emotional illness ... middle class, I survived ... successful Wall Street career, became an alcoholic ... I went to AA, found like mined people, also went to Alanon were i gained the tools to cope with life ... 30 years sober, content, but still have my repressed demons ... my faith sustains me daily
“Wow”. As Victor stated to Shawn early on, “ You’re a great steward of people's lives and stories and you reach so many people, I see God's hand on you Shawn”. I agree. This was an amazing interview….. I have been a subscriber of your show for sometime, Shawn because of that. It happens I’ve been a subscriber of Victor’s for a lot of years. I know a lot of his background and story but this was so well done - one of a kind show, God only made one of each of us. I pray that each of you Gentlemen and all of yours, fulfill all the books written about you. Psalm 139 Thank you Shawn Ryan. Thank you Victor Marx for never giving up or quitting- thank you, Eileen as well.
Shawn, I am glad at whoever told you about Victor Marx that you were able to interview him. Been a long time since I first found him. What he is doing and how God is using him is amazing, from what he has been through. God bless you and Victor, I am excited about this interview and have know doubt will bring others to receive or start considering Christ. God bless you both and Semper Fi!!
I am speechless. There are moments in your life where you hear someone say something so powerful it changes you forever. This first interview and the last five minutes will stay with me forever. I love you Victor Marx ❤️
I am profoundly shook. Things happen for a reason. I (we) were meant to hear this right now. Thank you Shawn for having Victor share his story of abuse and most importantly, forgiveness.
This episode made me cry so hard. I pray every day that my niece grows up as normal as she can given the trauma she has already experienced in her 10 years of life. When she was 5 (Aug. 2019) her father (my brother) was murdered. She saw the entire thing happen thru a glass screen door. Bullets barely missing her. If that wasn’t enough she lost her mother in Nov of 2021 in a road rage incident. She was in the back seat of the car. I hate that she has been thru all of this crap. But hopefully she will use it as a strengthening tool and not the opposite. ❤️😊
@@Mike-es2yg Thank you!! 😊❤️ She is with her Mamas big sister. She and I are close and just doing the do trying to make that girls life as normal as possible ya know.
@@Mike-es2yg I am flying out to Charleston on Feb. 8th to be there for her 10th birthday!!! Sooo excited! Don’t know why I felt the need to share that with ya’ll but yea! Happy New Year!
This might be the most important episode of this show. The message in the last few minutes of this episode is absolutely incredible and really brings a huge deal of perspective. Victor Marx is the embodiment of the freedom that comes from Jesus Christ. He is a walking testimony, the opposite of the warning given in Matthew 18:21-35. The Holy Spirit working in that man is so apparent. Thank you for having him on the show.
I had a similar childhood experience and I understand how he feels, forgiveness is the key to everything.I forgave my self and others, life will teach them a lesson because we never know how we end up. Good bless you for sharing your story.❤
Oh my gosh i am sobbing. The forgiveness, his dad telling the nurse that it's his son and he's proud of him, him coming to Christ. I'm in awe of God's mercy and grace! 😭😭
When Victor talked about the forgiving part towards his dad and told him he loved him and his dad told him he loved Victor, my heart could actually feel all the sincerity, forgivness and love that was between them at that moment, it truly was POWERFUL in every sense of the word. God is great, greater than we can even comprehend. This is the best interview i have ever witnessed, in this show or any show for that matter. I can't wait to hear the rest of it.
This is one of the hardest and best interviews I’ve ever heard. I wept multiple times while listening. More proof that no one is beyond the forgiveness and healing of God. God bless you both for the truth you’re putting out and the hope that you’re giving people. ❤
Been a fan of your show for a year now and this conversation here is one of the most poignant and inspiring I’ve been graced to watch. Keep em coming Shawn. 🙏🏽
This is the most intense horrifying unbelievable thing I've ever seen and heard. I'm 40yrs old and up until this interview I've been in denial of what the world's children are going through with the abuse. I'm so sad and angry I don't know how to handle this information. I sit hear crying feeling sorry and to think this is happening right now to some child breaks my heart and my soul!
God bless you for being willing to allow this awful truth to enter your heart. We are not capable of 'handling' this information. None of us. And yet, with God's help, we MUST. There is no future for humanity if we do not begin the work of dismantling the systems that allow this horror to thrive. I'm so grateful for your willingness to enter the furnace - just hold tight to God, and you will emerge transformed in ways you can't anticipate. May you be Divinely protected and comforted as you face the darkness. ❤🩹⚔🙏
@@ThicketworksCouldn't have said it better myself. You've obviously seen it too. It's hard to get people to understand how foreign it is to the mind. One couldn't conjure stuff up in their mind as the worst they could possibly come up with won't come close to an average day in the life of these monsters. Accidental exposure has sent many to the insane asylum.
First part of a 3 part series, and I am shattered. The pain this Gentleman has had to endure is beyond fathomable. It is beyond my comprehension how one comes through this unbearable pain victorious. His testimony so far has left me feeling deeply saddened. Of course, I know there is so much abuse in this deeply disturbing world we live in. However, knowing about it and actually hearing it from a person first hand is another thing altogether. I need to take a few moments to myself to digest this and salute this incredible Man.
Shawn, I’ve watched many of your interviews and they have all been great, but, I really believe this is one that will follow you and your show for the rest of your life. What happened in this show is so much bigger than just you learning about your guest and sharing it with your viewers.
Victor’s story is one of the most amazing stories I’ve ever heard. Forgiveness is such a hard thing for some people but when you get there, it can truly free you from such a weight that we carry. God bless Victor for having courage to share his story. I have no doubt he has touched people’s lives. He did mine.
Thank you both for sharing your hearts, pains, struggles and lives. Your actions show men how vulnerable we need to be in order to break the past and change our futures. God Bless you both.
Shawn and Victor Thank you very much for sharing your story. I come from an abusive childhood, to being gang rapped while serving in the Navy. and then on to an abusive husband for 15 yrs. Fear for me was the worst emotion.. After getting away from all the abuse I swore that I would never fear another human being in my life. I have such a hard time even leaving my house. Hearing this interview gives me hope that I may be able to overcome and heal one day
OMG this interview spoke to me and I had such trauma similar to Victor and I kept it all in a vault until one day I thought I was experiencing a stroke but I was diagnosed with Functional Neurological Disorder. I had been functioning at the fight or flight level for over 40yrs that my mind broke, lost my ability to speak and walk but thankfully I had a team of psychologists help me deconstruct the trauma and I have my speech and mobility back and my children were my biggest motivators to break the cycle. Thank you for this man, your channel and providing a space to open wounds but the victory is what amazing people they have all become. Much love from Australia 💙🙏🇦🇺
I watched the entire interview. All 5 hours. I highly recommend watching all of it. It was informative, sad, inspirational, and entertaining. I have great respect for Victor and Sean for coming forward with these hard topics. God bless you both.
I constantly find myself think o I will listen for an hr or so and just get sucked in and end up listening to the whole interview. Shawn does a great job and people respect him enough to come on and share very powerful stories
This is by far the darkest story I’ve ever heard a person tell. Victor you are the epitome of what it is to be a man. Selfless and unbelievably perseverant cannot even begin to describe you. I have no words. I don’t know you but I just wanna say I love you brother and I wish nothing but prosperity for you and your family.
What a powerful story of recovery from the nightmare of abuse. Thank you for sharing with us. I used to watch Dr. Dobson on tv years ago. Great advice.
Time and time again this show amazes me. I actually started watching before you even doing podcast because I wanted to be a special operator. But nowadays, I watch it because it’s my therapy. I’m truly learning so much each episode, and gives me hope encouragement for the future in a world full of chaos!! Thank you Shawn!!!
This is one of the best episodes I think Sean has ever done!! This man’s story is so crazy and how in depth he went with his past is going to help a lot of people get through their trauma. One hell of an episode! 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
OMG!! I wasn’t ready for the sheer graphic nature of this man’s pain…I feel so terrible he had to go through all that and as a child as well…breaks my Heart!!
You are so right. I'm a counselor and I promise that wouldn't be my response. We are not all bad. I cannot imagine what you have went through, but I am here if you'd ever need. Not for a fee, as someone who gets it.
i am sobbing, i just want to give victor a hug, but still, i can’t wait for the rest of the interview of this remarkable man! thank you so much for bringing him on to share his story. it’s both unbelievably harrowing and absolutely inspiring!❤❤❤
The end took me out. The love God gives is amazing and beyond comprehension. I have major trauma too and I’ve felt in my heart for several years now that I won’t experience peace until I can tell my dad I understand and I forgive him. Thank you for sharing your story. It’s incredibly moving and inspiring.
What this guy described is what most of us in broken families go through unfortunately, domestic violence, trauma, and sexual abuse... and the lower your economic status is, the more likey you are to experience all three... Toss in a few more mitigating factors and the legacy is passed on to the next generation. It's time for those of us who understand this cycle of abuse to break the bonds that bind us, not only for ourselves but for our children too...
Yes socioeconomics play into his account, BUT the rich and elite do the same thing on a much higher scale. They can child traffic, love PIZZA, lure and groom minors via internet. The Lolita express snagged the movers, shakers, congressmen, actors, eugenicist, athletes, royalty, military. Our world saturated in all of it. Abuse. Violence. Fear. Sex. Some can hide it better. Just hide it better.
Wow! I’m in tears. His story about how he showed nothing but love to his demonic stepdad is extremely powerful. I love how he also said he had more love to give to his wife and children by forgiving his stepdad. God is so good. Wow! Thank you for sharing your story. It will aid in my healing and forgiving journey. God please bless and heal everyone here!!🙏🏼❤️🙏🏼

@slappy8941 you can forgive someone and yet still be cautious/aware of what that individual is capable of to not let yourself be burned again.
I’m an hour in, but as another man who was abused by two separate men in Mendenhall, MS, this episode is hitting extremely close to home for me. Congrats
The best thing you’ll hear from your kids when they are older is them saying to you or their friends is “I had a great childhood” ❤
I can identify!
I thought everyone had alcoholic mothers, heavy handed fathers, had to endured sa, had alcoholic & drug addicts for siblings🤯
At 13, while hiding in a dark closet under clothes I swore to myself that I would NEVER do that to my kids!!!
Our kids are happy healthy & loving solid adults ❤️
Hubby & I are married 43 years, and still like each other😉
Though I like wine, I hold myself to a super tight standard and my kids have never seen me drunk!
In braking the cycle…Easy? Not so much at times to do so, but WORTH IT … AND…to find I LOVE MYSELF (also a pretty cool person I am 🤩)
There is healing in Jesus
It took the Holy Spirit in me to enable me to forgive my dad. My 3 year old granddaughter was sleeping beside me and I picked up her tiny, sweet, innocent little hand. The thought came to me that my dad had a hand like that once. And I realized that he too had gone through some awful things. Somehow that thought released me from all my hatred, bitterness and unforgiveness. I became a Christian at the age of 62. My brother had prayed for over 40 years for me!! God is mighty to save. Now my daughter and granddaughter are saved also. Genesis 50:20

I’m very grateful that I met him. Awesome interview!
Very nice I met him at ours in city of Montebello ca, Calvary chapel amazing man
I think the reason so many people struggle with forgiveness is because they don't understand the true definition of it.
What minute is that? I dont want to miss it
He really forgave his father when he prayed for him and then told him he loved him. God had to get him to see his father's soul was going to spend eternity in hell. That makes you love people enough to share the gospel with them even when they don't really want to hear it.
1 Corinthians 15:1-4 KJV
Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; [2] by which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain. [3] For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; [4] and that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:
Romans 3:22-26 KJV
even the righteousness of God which is by faith of Jesus Christ unto all and upon all them that believe: for there is no difference: [23] for all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God; [24] being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus: [25] whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God; [26] to declare, I say, at this time his righteousness: that he might be just, and the justifier of him which believeth in Jesus.
Romans 6:23 KJV
For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
Please admit to God that you've sinned against Him and then place your faith in the blood of Jesus Christ for the remission of your sin today.
God bless you!

God bless. 💕

Thank you for the courage to share your childhood. I think lots of people are oblivious to the horrors that go on in this world.
Shawn i appreciate you using your platform to make awareness and bring light to a subject most people can’t comprehend or choose not to comprehend. People think things like this only happen in third world countries. We can’t just suppress and hide the evil that is everywhere. Being in love with someone who has suffered trauma like this isn’t easy but the depth in life that she has brought me is life changing. There is generational trauma in my family as well but my childhood trauma was nowhere as evil as what Victor experienced.

Shawn- imagine if nobody ever got to tell their story, nobody would ever know what’s going on. Especially other victims.!
That has got to be the most powerful testimony ive ever heard. Thank you
Shawn, I’ve watched many of your interviews and they have all been great, but, I really believe this is one that will follow you and your show for the rest of your life. What happened in this show is so much bigger than just you learning about your guest and sharing it with your viewers.
Agree 100%. I could feel the Lord's Presence in the room while he was speaking.
THE most IMPORTANT recollection EVER TOLD... . .TY Sir, TY Shawn... . .
Victor’s story is one of the most amazing stories I’ve ever heard. Forgiveness is such a hard thing for some people but when you get there, it can truly free you from such a weight that we carry. God bless Victor for having courage to share his story. I have no doubt he has touched people’s lives. He did mine.
I've been told I'm rough around the edges and emotionally detached sometimes and only half way through this he has me torn up and tears rolling.
I am here for every testimony on this show. Gives me so much hope. Thank you for being bright lights in the world!
Hearing this interview gives me hope that I may be able to overcome and heal one day
I’m so so sorry.
I pray for your healing. ❤️
@@jolenemcmanus4964 Thank you very much for your prayers, After hearing Victor talk about forgiveness and faith really helped to hear
What an incredibly beautiful soul has this man. Bless your heart, and thank you so much for sharing your story. ❤
❤️
I feel the same…what a treasure..mad love for you Victor❤
What a powerful story of recovery from the nightmare of abuse. Thank you for sharing with us. I used to watch Dr. Dobson on tv years ago. Great advice.
Time and time again this show amazes me. I actually started watching before you even doing podcast because I wanted to be a special operator. But nowadays, I watch it because it’s my therapy. I’m truly learning so much each episode, and gives me hope encouragement for the future in a world full of chaos!! Thank you Shawn!!!
That last part brought me to tears. What a powerful testimony. Semper Fi, brother.
This is one of the best episodes I think Sean has ever done!! This man’s story is so crazy and how in depth he went with his past is going to help a lot of people get through their trauma. One hell of an episode! 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
OMG!! I wasn’t ready for the sheer graphic nature of this man’s pain…I feel so terrible he had to go through all that and as a child as well…breaks my
Heart!!
Thank you Shawn and Team and all the great comments 🔥👊🏽😎
Thanks so much for sharing your amazing testimony. Cheers
Jesus is God.
Have you heard of Cathy O’Brien? She has a related story.
Wow, what an amazing story. Thank you, Victor, and thank you, Shawn, for having him on.
Spectacular discussion. Thank you for sharing this story. Countless people need to hear it.
God please bless and heal everyone here!!🙏🏼❤️🙏🏼
This guy is such an inspiration. I’m so glad to see him getting his message and mission out there!!
This man is the definition of survivor…. He is absolutely incredible
Truth, absolute truth comes from his heart and soul through his words to us. Deepest Thanks for these three shows with this man.
