This is one of my favorite episodes. I loved when Brother Phil was in 1 John and then Brother Jase brought in Paul at the end and spoke about freedom. I have lived a life of sin(what I thought was freedom) but as I have started my new life as a son of God, I find more freedom than ever. The anxiety of life has faded because I have come from the darkness, into the Light of The Almighty and follow His word. There is no other Freedom. God is the same today as He was yesterday, as He will be tomorrow.
I love this podcast, I love god & I love to talk about his word. May the light of God live within you

I DO EXTREMELY the same thing!! I'm 46 & originally raised in the Catholic Church but as I started my own family the Catholic Church preaching didn't make sense to me & I have a difficult time reading & understanding ANY Bible if read like a book so The Robertson family has helped me SO MUCH to actually Understand the Bible (not Catholic education).

@Free Thinker just try to find Jesus. There’s nothing you can lose by giving Jesus a shot but an eternity to lose if you don’t. I have been saved and experienced Jesus. That’s the proof. God bless you and I wish you well!
@Free Thinker You have a choice whether or not to believe in Jesus or not, it says so in the Bible and that is common sense. All I am saying is just look into it. You can research anything in the world so like the Robertsons have said read the book of John with an open mind and see what Jesus was like. I think you will find your own proof like everyone else who has had a personal experience with God has.
@Free Thinker Faith is belief in things not seen. We can’t see Jesus, yet, but we will. But we can feel the presence of God. Every born again Christian knows what this means. I cannot prove anything to you because it is a personal relationship with God. You have to experience it for yourself. When I said research I meant pray, read the Bible, seek council from someone you trust who has been saved by the grace of God. It is 100% free will. When people say fear God it means knowing that God is all powerful and has a plan for our lives. It’s comfort. It’s real. You just have to experience it for yourself. I hope that you do!

Until I saw my life of darkness , I wouldn't go to the light. Praise the Lord he convicted me of the darkness I was living. Saved by God's grace and my faith. Jesus is coming soon.

I love to listen to your channel when I am by myself working on my house. I live in the sticks and most people out here usually keep to themselves. So you all are great company for this Guy so thanks for the videos even though I mostly plug you into the radio and listen.
One key thing I've learned in my 50 years of duck hunting is to soak the cleaned birds in water with big bunches of fresh celantro for a day or two changing out the water 3-4 times.. Works wonders on the lesser quality birds.

God used John 1 to open my eyes to my true standing with Him. I saw that yes, I was hiding in the dark and that yes, He is the light of the world; my world. Once the Holy Spirit reveals the truth to you, there is no hiding from it. Thankful, Grateful and blessed.

I did not like Christians because they all seemed like a bunch of boring people who looked down on anyone not like themselves. Well, a lot of “Christians” are like that! When I did get to know the Lord for myself I found that some churches contain sinners, just like me, except that they have repented of their sins and been forgiven and cleansed through what Christ did. It’s all true. True Christianity is not about religion which is just the practice of rituals. True Christianity is about being changed inside and being given a new spirit by God. It is about a new creation in the Christ. That is a true miracle. Everyone who has truly come to know Christ Jesus does not look down on anyone but prays for the anointing from God to be able to tell the Good News in the “power and demonstration of the Holy Spirit.” Only God can do a miracle. We can only deliver the message by the undeserved favor of God.
It’s the end of our deer season in SC and I butchered the last half deer yesterday. I cut tomahawk steaks out of the rear 8 ribs and backstrap. They turned out pretty good! God bless you all!

I remember shaking those big 2gallon glass jugs for gramma and she had four grandsons readily available at most any given time. That butter was really good too.

I love this episode because I thought the same things regarding the light and my sinfulness, but you affirming my beliefs only bolsters that my thinking is on the right path.
Mr Phil Robertson I have head the word of God all my life. But from plasters and men of the cloth. But NO ONE has thought me more about God and the bible then you. Most of them yell it at you or talk down to you like a young child. You have a great way about you that helps me under stand more. Please keep up the pod cast and doing what you are doing. Jase mentioned Job when you guys were talking about Eve and the temptation which leads to this question: Satan had to get permission from God when he wanted to ramp up Job’s plagues so did Satan have to get God’s permission to tempt Eve? Well Phil , I’m your age and I milked our Jersey cow , and us kids churned her milk just like your momma! One difference , we kept our milk in a gallon mason jar tied to a rope and lowered down in the well to keep cold , same with the.butter . Had a smoke house for hams and butts ! Had a salt box pappy built and lined with a plastic table cloth , he’d put a layer of bacon then layer of salt! No electric . I love the book of John and y’all make it sound like a story . But it is the greatest story ever told ! Love Psalms too ! Love y’all , I can just see me and Kay sitting at the table with tea and just visiting ! Y’all be blessed and favored ❤️🙏🏽💕

Old Man , I would try this! When we would catch flounder & Halibut from the Bay we would soak it overnight in Milk as to rid the fish of any fishiness & it worked well, going a step further I would use raw milk not pasteurized the Pasteurization kills the milk thus the need for adding vitamins etc back in to what is no longer milk. When you drink milk like products, you get what’s called lactose intolerants which in reality doesn’t exist either, it’s the body trying to purge fake milk, which also causes cancer! There are stores who sell Raw milk , or if y’all have a cow who grazes!!!

Guys: the best option is not freezing meat. Pressure cook it. It'll sit in a jar, not frozen, and no matter how many times the power goes out, it will not spoil.

Butter is not bad! As long as it is natural, good quality grass-fed butter. Fats are not bad as long as they are good quality. And not that soybean or canola or corn oil stuff! And sugar is far worse than butter.

Team Phil & others. I love the Lord & my trust is in Him. I have a question for you. I hear what you're saying and I want to talk to a couple of people who are in darkness by not accepting Jesus; their lives are doing the best they can, not harming or speaking against others, do good, yet they don't see how if there is God how He can allow sickness & death especially of little children. These people were raised in Christianity yet shared they think it was socially correct. They believe in right and wrong and doing right.??

Hey Jace I would really appreciate it if you and your daddy would take my 38 year old son duck hunting and teach him about the GRACE of our Lord Jesus and how it's not piece mealed like he's been taught by religious people like I once was. He believes in God he's a good man but I know what giving my life to Jesus has done for me!! I NEVER read the Bible until I was 54. I pray my son and family don't wait that long to find out the truth!!! THANK YOU SWEETHEART my son is an avid hunter and fisherman. I’m a hunter and I can relate to harvesting wild game over store bought but in today’s times you can’t tell me the wildlife doesn’t pick up the pesticides/chemicals/sewer byproducts that are found within habitats. It’s been proven, I’ve watched my neighbour spray his soybeans and then the deer come out after the tractor leaves and continue to digest Monsanto products. Still healthier than industrial raised livestock but don’t be too naive. It’s all about the mighty $$$.
