When I was baptized I had a huge fear of being in front of a crowd. I had to give a speech and I was so nervous I was shaking. When I got into the water I felt an incredible peace. My shaking left... I was even making jokes. When I was done my speech I was regretful I didnt say more. Only God can do that!

Enjoyed greatly the podcast! As I mentioned before, I lost my only son while he was in prison here inFlorida. He had brain cancer that the Prison did not let me even know about for months. He died 12-7-2019, leaving three children, ages 19, 13, & 11. But he was saved before and in 2006, he totally gave his life back to God & asked our Pastor to Baptize him. I remember during his funeral, my husband mentioned that I stood up by the Baptistry and said, “Pastor, hold him under til he bubbles!” Because he really had a lot of sins to leave at the bottom of that pool. It was funny, but I was dead serious! And this mother and grandmother still cries everyday for her son, who was treated so unfairly all his life, because I could not afford a lawyer for him, and he got stuck with a Public Defender & I use that term very loosely. He is with the Lord now, but my heart is still broken for the way he was treated, But Jesus is his lawyer now! I can’t wait to see both of them.
I’ve been watching all the Duck Dynasty re-runs and enjoying them a lot. I didn’t realize that I had missed so many. Laughter really does doe this good like a medicine. God bless all of you.

Ive never seen God, but I can feel him, sometimes in prayer, and in my, yearning for Jesus, I feel a sense of peace, joy, and love. I believe it is the holy spirit. Praise be to God.

God bless y'all. I've noticed a scary trend in the last 10 years with preachers spending 45 mins telling everyone that you don't need to be baptized to go to heaven, and 15 seconds saying....but you should because Jesus did. Can't we just follow it because Jesus did period!? It's almost like they'r trying to help people get out of it. It ain't that difficult, believe and be baptized. Wish everyone took it as serious as y'all. Much love (Hollerin' from Mississippi next state over!)

I’m a full time wheelchair user (paraplegic), weight around 270 and need to be baptized. I’m glad you are finding ways to do the baptisms for people with medical issues. The government says 1 in 5 people have a disability (and will soon be 1 in 4 people) and the ADA is coming up on its 30 year anniversary...30 years and disabled people still struggle with access issues. I have an old backup wheelchair that I would be happy to go down the boat ramp in.

You do not need to be baptised to be saved. It's a wonderful gesture showing God and all around that you are done with your old life and you are now living for Jesus

During this whole "Pandemic" I'm rebelling as much as possible without any stress! Everytime anyone wants to argue "well what if you die?!" My response IS ALWAYS "That'll be better than living on Earth & God WILL SAVE ME!! I'm living life one day @ a time ALWAYS spending time outdoors just soaking in the Nature! So I also Live each day as my Last!! TODAY, it was Wonderful to FINALLY see someone walk past me without a mask & smiling 😃! It was definitely 👍 Refreshing!!! Honestly beautiful 😍!!!!

Our son who's 6'6" was baptized in Mayhill, NM in an older baptistry. He had to drop to his knees and Brother Eddy went with it. Was so awesome!

My Preacher finally put 2 bricks and when I stepped into the water I had Faith in my Preacher, but I had more Faith in Jesus Christ catching me. I still have my written testimony from 6 years old at my daughter's house. He Amen has Always been with me ❤️✝️🌹🛐

You talked about how we haven’t seen God but we see Him everyday all around us! We are made in His image so He looks a little like each of us! I think of God as a combination of all of His children He has ever made ❤️

Daily devotions with my kids and standing tall and strong in the faith. Praying we can all overcome this evil that is trying to take our land over. I also have a phobia to water but was baptized in the creek and was great until I saw a snapping turtle go by me as I was lifted up. LOL I didn't scream but I may have pushed him away from me LOL.

Oh you guys you really teach me a lot more every times I watch y’all my son is 40yrs an this last year February he has got clean a full of the Holy Ghost oh it has bless my husband an I now he is 17 months clean Jesus gave me my son back since he was sixteen he has done everything even tried to kill himself that was the last straw he attack my husband an tore all our phone lines down an he didn’t know we had a medical alert I just touched it an got the cops there he was in jail for three weeks we couldn’t get him out if we did as a Christian I said no he. Needs help he did an now he is the head man at the ark men’s home for drugs and alcohol he is finally doing good thanks I really love watching you guys talk you Phil love it all

My dad and a couple deacons baptised a lady in wheelchair. Went without a hitch except that her wig came off. The whole church had a hard time holding back the giggles
I know y'all probably don't have time to read all these comments....but I truly wish I was a member of your family. Y'all exude so much love and respect for one another. Seems like no matter what anyone has done, y'all don't excommunicate a family member (like my family does), it seems more like you open your arms and hearts and pull them in and hug them even harder. I'd give almost anything to know that kind of family and I suspect that nearly 50 yrs ago THAT was the reason I decided not to have children, but thinking about it now if I'd have had children maybe I could have changed our "generational curse". I know I'm a sinner and Jesus is Lord and I try to live a wholesome life. I have prayed to hear the voice of Him who is King over all but I never have. I know he has answered prayers in my walk with Him. I suffered a stroke and my short term memory is really bad but I have read my Bible front to back and I know I am blessed. Any suggestions please. Sheila Pilson - Are you wanting to literally hear the voice of God? I don’t think you will. But you may have a thought suddenly appear in your mind, and your heart, in certain situations throughout your life. I believe that is God speaking to us. I have been saved for over 50 years, and I have never actually heard God or Jesus speak to me. That doesn’t mean that God doesn’t plant thoughts in our minds in times of need, or making decisions in our lives. Hope this helps. God Bless You!

Youth prison chaplain for 12 years. Locked up but not locked out of Gods love and protection!!
I was just thinking here in all of these issues of how to baptize people with disabilities or overweight. If you believe you have to be baptized to be saved then some people are out of luck do to the way they're created.I believe that's why God made it that you're saved by the blood not by water so all can be saved. Baptism is a symbol of your salvation.

Why are God fearing people afraid of a virus (one that has been fear inspired by the govt, no less)
Churches should have never closed. Gather outside, but gather. Pray and be strong but never cower to a govt motivated fear again.
I've never taken the flu shot so I'll be passing on this one.
When my husband was in the military he had to get the flu shot every year. Every year he got the flu and passed it to the family. He hasn't got a flu shot since 2012 and we haven't had the flu since then

However, since he stopped getting it we have not had it. So to me there is a connection. My mother also gets sick every year after getting it. So that's where I'm at

At my daughter's baptism, the water had leaked out of the baptismal. So my daughter sat down in the tub with 12 inches of water and was proudly baptized.
I think that the lord will glorify her for that

I used to teach a class session for a Bible College on how to baptize from a swimming instructor view. I taught effective stance and ducking movement when the individual was large, frail, handicapped or had a fear of water. It was an important class as the ministry students were full of faith but many low on skills. I ended up teaching several of these students basic swimming skills and water adjustment every semester. THANKS for sharing your stories and The Lord.

My granny did my baptism by herself in the river and I knew I was trying to get up myself to help her and that water was ice cold I shot up out that river already running and granny chasing after me
