Yes but at this scale by using resin you get a much more detailed model overall. I do wish though they would put some sort of weight into hollow parts of the model to make it artificially heavier than normal. That would certainly more than make up for it
Saw this in a store here in Singapore. Being a Knight Rider fan, I almost bought it but I didn't after seeing the price. Way too expensive for it's scale. Had no idea it was resin though. Thought it was diecast. So costly and not even a light up scanner. Thanks for this video review. You saved me some $$$
1:58 that guy on the right have a fantastic youtube channel called Knight Rider historians which provide loads and loads of knight rider trivia and he own 2 true KiTT and the semi truck and trailer that he is currently restoring
I’ve cut back on my resin purchases after noticing in some eBay sales, zooming in on photos of cars a few years old the windows are coming unglued. I don’t have the hands/tools/eyesight at my age to fix that if it starts happening to mine, especially considering the higher cost. If the back window on this model is glued film, it’s definitely going to come undone due to bad area causing uneven pressure. Overall it’s a beautiful model though
For some people, metal is an advantage simply because we like it that way. The feeling of a metal product.

Fantastic model (apart from the backwards door panels) 👍, @ 2:06 excellent bag rip 💪
This car brings back memories of other shows during the same era like Gilligan's island, Macgyver , Mr. Belvedere & The A Team.
I watched Gilligan's island, Macgyver, The A Team religiously. A little Love Boat and Fantasy Island too. haha

Awesome! I like the model, it has so many details for this scale. That interior door panel is so unfortunate )))))))
On eBay these are listed under TNT if anyone is going there to buy one
Yes KITT used his lights at night in many episodes

I'll probably cut back myself on any resin with high curvature windows unless they look formed like the MY64 F40 has.
They should have made this one with a working scanner not the Hot Wheels one from the SDCC 2022
I think the T-Tops look better tinted
Should be 1/43 that's the perfect size for resin models
that steering also upside down
Yep; good eye. Ugh this model sucks.
IS metal? Resin ? Plastic? KITT diecast metal?
YM Model is resin
