@@mjwatershark1881 I bought some of my wheels on ebay. Try different key words like: 1 64, rims, tires, diecast, …
For the parts you will have to search a little bit online. Would recommend modelbuilding shops, or ebay here as well (usually the modelbuilding shops sell on ebay too)

you should start a competition with Jakarta Diecast Project, Tolle Garage and Teri Diecast that you start with the same car but have some restrictions like no widebodies, has to include widebody. You get the idea. Btw love your customs
Very true, would be interesting. But I think JDP and tolle garage would outrun us, because (especially jdp ) is doing this as a full time job. I don't have enough time to finish one high end custom every week😬 (sadly) And thanks mate, glad you like my cars!😊

What type of wire did you use for the axle tubing? They look a lot harder than mine
just some cable sheathing from a copper wire, 0.8mm diameter of the copper
What is the white tube you used as an axle? This seems way easier than bending pins and such

@@themodelcarproject Thank you! also i believe I've found an alternative, I picked up those paper clips with colored vinyl covers and they work perfectly for regular hot wheels axles but not so much for pins you get in extra axle sets.
@@luna454BB That's also perfect to use.👍 I like to use the HW pins on all of my builds, no matter what custom rims. Would recommend them

What kind of glue do you use to get the styrene to stick to the Diecast?
I just use superglue with cyanacrylat accelerator

Yes it's an flexible Resin (Called "Prima Creator Flex Resin")

You should paint the them man, the shape is per-fect, but they look like plastic (i know there are, but you should paint them tho)
You are absolutely right. Just had them skinny tires already on and couldn't remove them without destroying the wheels xD But the new ones will be always painted now 👌

What size cutton bud do you use to make the axle?
It's not a cutton bud, it's a cable sheathing with 0.8mm inner diameter. You don't even have to glue the pins.

0.9mm inner diameter (brass pipe) or 0.8mm inner diameter for flexible cable sheathing. You can check out the most recent how to stance video

ok i need some help from the Hot Wheels Community i just started collecting and want to customize as well, the trouble im having is tapping and drilling the posts so i can use a screw to put them back together, my issue is i cannot find a 3mm drill and tap other than the junk i just got off Amazon which was 100% worthless .... is anyone able to help me with the rite tool for this job please and thanks
