To be honest you are barely approaching the Sahara, the biom is simply dry but it is not a desert. Check out Marzouga, now that city is simply put the door to the Sahara, where camel caravans used to pass. The mighty sand dunes there are out of this world. Small note: Sahara literally means desert in Arabic so when you say Sahara desert it is like you are saying ATM machine (like those Bloody Yankees 🤣)

Casablanca to marrakech is only 2 hours drive so it’s very very far from Sahara desert which is another at least 500 km to the south of Marrakech 😂
