  • I, Brian Cass restored a 1950 Mustang Motorcycle for Chuck Lee a fellow 5C's member. When Chuck Lee was 15 yrs old back in the 1950's he wanted one of these bikes but was unable to at that time. In 1984 he was able to get a hold of one, took it apart then tucked it away in the garage. In 2012 Chuck asked me to restore it for him. The video shows you how it turned out! Enjoy and be sure to leave a comment!!

If you have an oil leak behind the cylinder, not to worry. Just dope the threads on the valve cover bolt!

Family friend was Howard Forest who was the chief engineer at Mustang, I believe it was called Gladson Engineering or something like that located in Glendale, Ca. They had some interesting machines they made for the miliary in later years.

Very nice job on the restoration. Just to let you know though the valve springs are in upside down. Won't affect how the engine runs unless your at real high rpm's.

Do you have any video that has no music? I want to hear only the nostalgic noise of the machinery. That noise is ruined by the "music"

I Believe it was Bruce Bristol. He also sold BSA. Then when Hondacame to town, Bristol got on that band wagon too.
