Like another listener of yours said, you and Kent Hewitt are the two GOAT’s for me as well. With all the trouble in the world today, we are lucky that musicians like Kent and you share your incredible talent and insight with us providing hours of pleasure and happiness as we learn new music!! Thank’s to your generous efforts🎉 sharing your knowledge and skill so even beginners can understand complex ideas because you break it down so well. I just retired this year so I can devote more time to my love of music, especially jazz. Thank you so much for making it possible for me to do this. Your videos are so very helpful. 😊
Hi Tony, it's always good to see different ways to end a song. Maybe for the ballad in your upcoming series, 'Wonderful World'. Thanks for all the great teaching you provide to us mere mortals. 😉
Maybe some 3/4 time stuff?? Waltzes? Our band plays for a dance group on occasion and they LOVE to waltz. "Emily" comes to mind. "Kathy's Waltz" comes to mind. I know, a bit of a different flair for timing. But some of them are quite nice when worked out well.
How about Tea for Two? I think you’ve done this before but I’d love to hear your ideas. As usual, thank you for this short and sweet tutorial on endings.
