I really love your video! Subscribed! I’m a beginner and learn piano mostly by myself as a hobby. I watched another TH-cam clip for learning (Für Elise) exactly which notes should be played, and then your teaching gives a very nice touch on how to make it sound so nice! I enjoyed your humor along the way too. Found your clip when I stuck at the octave speedy part. I hope I can overcome this. Will come back here so often until I manage to finish Für Elise.

Great video. Though I don't understand why you would change fingering between runs on the same passage.
The best way to understand the fingering is to learn and practice the fingering. Then try it your way and you'll see why your way is inferior.

Where does the flourish at 7:35 come from? I've heard a couple of people playing it this way, but It's not on any of the music sheets I know.
I will post a link to the sheet music. The flourish is indicated by the curly line above the note. It is called a turn.

Could you explain why you are doing the 3 2 1 on A when it’s easier to do with just one finger at 15:54
Keeps the hand relaxed, but it really doesn't make much difference.

So there’s no pedal in the second movement im guessing
What do you mean by 2nd movement? Anyway, pedal can be used in all of the sections. I would not use it in the b section where the right hand has 32nd notes.
@@TonyWinston is the b section you are referring to the part where the melody completely changes. Thats what i mean by 2nd movement, the happier sounding part?

Your E-D#-E-D# sequence is wrong. It’s how most amateurs play
Look at the sheet. The notes are SHORT and they are legato, should flow. Also here’s something many versions omit but is there in the original version of Beethoven. The phrase first increases in volume ..then decreases in volume ending at A. It’s a delicate piece butchered by most amateurs.

I was enjoying the video until you said you have no feeling for the piece “just ice water in your veins.” Don’t do a tutorial on a piece and then disrespect it at the same time.
All that hand switching on the octaves is just nonsense. Economy of motion.
I usually agree with economy of motion, but by making certain gestures, the timing of a phrase will be affected. And I believe Beethoven wrote it thi way. It's not difficult either way so why not have fun with it
