- Mortal Kombat Reconciliation Sprite Animation Part 15 | Deadly Alliance. Shang Tsung and Quan Chi put their minds together to set Shao Kahn's plot toward Earthrealm's destruction back on track. The sorcery of Shang Tsung and the necromancy of Quan Chi will surely bring order to Shao Kahn's plot.
This is a pretty simple episode, and very hard to describe without giving away spoilers. I put a lot of detail in the backgrounds in this video. I'm trying to move away from using stock MK3 arenas by customizing the arenas as much as possible. The original maps are obviously designed for 2D horizontal left/right game play, but I wish to expand these maps up and down allowing fights to take place high in the air and below the ground. So far I believe the Lin Kuei temple is my best arena and the perfect mold with which to structure future arenas.
Anyways... I have massive plans for Episode 16. I'm looking forward to creating it because it is unlike any other MK video I've done. I'll do my best to keep my series moving. Thanks for watching!

I'm amazed at how evolved your work is now. I loved this episode because almost everyone got the chance to appear. Watching Sindel beating everyone down reminded me of the MK 9 scene where she kills all the heroes. I hope she doesn't do that again, or at least not all the fighters at once. I like the path where this is all going, and with each episode, things are getting more instensified! You've got me so hooked on this! You totally have to keep on making more of this amazing work!
Thank you my friend. This scene is slightly inspired by the MK9 scene with Sindel, but in MK9 I didn't like how it ended. I don't understand how Sindel destroys everybody at once, then loses to Kitana by herself.
Thanks for replying! Me neither, actually that was the only part I didn't like about MK 9. It's great that you decided to go a different path with Sindel. I have to ask, are you going to remake all the past MK games from the original timeline (MK1 - MK Armageddon) or you'll be more focused on the current one ? Or you're just planning your own story? No matter what your plans are, it's all really awesome!
Well it all depends on what sprites are available. MK 1, and 2 sprites are all available, MK4 sprites are kind of bad so it'll be hard to make dynamic fights with blurry broken spites. All games beyond Deadly Alliance are impossible unless somebody makes good sprites for all the characters in those games. I do have some Hsu Hao sprites which I used earlier in this series during some dialogue scenes.
I've seen the release of a mortal kombat computer game called "MK 4.1 project" or something like that. There you can find some sprites of many post MK4 characters such as Hotaru, Kenshi, Li Mei, Drahmin or Sareena from Mythologies. They even have Cassie Cage, but I don't know if those sprites could work for you. Hope this helps you as a reference for future ideas!

The font I use is the Mortal Kombat 4 font downloaded here www.fontpalace.com/font-details/Mortal+Kombat+4/ I use Adobe Flash CS3 for animation, Adobe Photoshop CS3 for graphic design, and Adobe Premiere CS5 for touch ups and sound. As for the spelling mistakes, it's quite an annoying issue. The tiny errors like "form/from" are hard to spot while proof reading, and spell check doesn't catch them either. I think I need some proof readers.
If proof-reading, I don't mind helping ya. =D
