    Hi, can a single device function as a Mesh system, or is it necessary to purchase at least two or more devices? Specifically, does one device need to be connected to the router via cable, while the others can operate wirelessly by simply being plugged into a power outlet?

    I have MW12 mesh nodes and thinking may upgrade to this but my main concern is the MW12 is tri-band and this is only dual band ?

    Due giorni fa l'ho installato . È stato abbastanza semplice . Ho un solo problema abbastanza grave . Sia la base che un extender funzionano bene . Ma il secondo extender del set mentre facevo l'accoppiamento si è bloccato . Il LED è verde ma non c'è connessione e non si vede nella applicazione. Ho fatto decine di volte il reset senza successo, non succede praticamente nulla il LED resta verde. È come morto . Anche staccando la corrente nessun risultato. Stamattina ho contattato per email il supporto vediamo cosa dicono .

    Can you bind a deice to a specific node? I understand with TPLink you can do it. Big problem I have with my current mesh is that stationary devices like cctv cameras and speakers keeps jumping to nodes far away with low through put.

      Para vc resolver este problema somente se conectar os nodos via cabo , utilizar a malha wifi para conexão entre os nodos causa este problema.

      Nope, Mw6 port is gigabit so.... 1000 mbps. Not worth the price difference. Wait for better cable options in the future lol

    Surely this doesn't need to plug into an existing router.... It can be used as it's own Router / extender network... Just plugs into the fiber access port.... Honestly, throw these BT, Sky routers in the bin, they are dogshyt

    'Rowter'? Stop with the affected Americanisms- it's pronounced 'rooter'.

    Total Trash System don't purchase them, weakest antenna in the industry. Sent that trash back, however the configuration interface is pretty nice. But the physical tech is trash, also setting the up as a mesh system isn't smooth either they don't connect sometime you have to reset them, not a smooth process.

    Try again when you've learned how to say router.

    • @TechforTechs
      @TechforTechs  ปีที่แล้ว +4

      You raise a good point that the pronunciation of "router" can vary depending on regional differences and localization. In some parts of the world, the word is pronounced with a long "ou" sound (like "rowter"), while in other regions, it's pronounced with a short "ou" sound (like "rauter").
      Therefore, if you're communicating with someone from a different region or background, it's important to be aware of potential differences in pronunciation and be respectful of these variations. For example, if you're from the United States and you're communicating with someone from the United Kingdom, you might hear them pronounce "router" with a different accent than what you're used to. In this case, it's important to understand that both pronunciations are valid and reflect different linguistic traditions.
      It's important to note that even within the same country, there can be significant variations in pronunciation due to different regional dialects and accents.
      For example, in the United States, there are significant differences in the way people pronounce "router" depending on the region they come from. In some parts of the country, such as the Northeast or Midwest, the word is pronounced with a long "ou" sound, while in other regions, such as the South or West, it's pronounced with a short "ou" sound. Even within a region, there can be significant variations in pronunciation based on cultural or social factors.
      It's important to be aware of these variations and be respectful of different dialects and accents when communicating with others. If you're unsure about someone's pronunciation or meaning, it's always a good idea to ask for clarification and avoid making assumptions. By being mindful of these differences, you can help create a more inclusive and respectful communication environment.
