Not to mention the Pawn Shop series a while ago like the Jaguarillo and the Mustang Special.
Fender thinks the only guitars left handed people should play are Telecaster or Stratocaster. If Cobain was right handed their Cobain Jaguar would only be available in right handed version, that's the truth.

To be fair, Fender is friendlier to lefties than... well, pretty much every big name guitar maker there is. Though yes, the Cobain connection is the only reason why this Jag is available for lefties.

Gibson have the Les Paul Standard, Les Paul Traditional, Studio and Tribute models, 335, 330, Firebird, SG, J45 and Hummingbird models all available in left handed versions. They have all the signature Elliot Easton models as well. Fender have the American Standard Strat, American Standard Tele, 52 Telecaster and the Cobain Jaguar....that's pretty much it.

Considering Fender's legacy was built off Jimi Hendrix you'd think they'd be more accommodating to left handed players.

You can get a Fender Special Edition Jaguar HH in Daphne Blue from Musician's Friend. It's not exactly the same guitar but you can save a lot of cash and do some extra mods yourself if interested. I have one and it is really nice!

I taped both down at about 2 or 3 and used it for ebow only.
I used the ebow on acoustic for years, so when I started using it on electric I was really put off by the huge volume boost when it gets near the pickups. I wasnt used to keeping it in a specific spot... I'd just slide it around to get different harmonics and volume.
So with the vol and tone taped down it's super smooth. 😊

The Daphne Blue Finish Is almost the same, but the Kurt Cobain Mustang, was actually a Sonic Blue which Is minimally different, and sometimes more noticeable, It can be mistaken for the Daphne Blue Colour a lot

The nitro is the clear finish. But he did not want that on his guitar. These days fender uses polyuterane finish and that limids the sustain even more.

Ferris Boston in my experience harley bentons leftie lineup is fantastic and their €160 les paul copy outplays any €500 epiphone ive ever played, only issue is the pickups are microphonic but other than that its an amazing guitar

Kurt did not design his Jaguar, he bought it used with the mods already installed. The guitar he did design was the Fender Jag-Stang, which combines the layout of his favourite Mustangs with the offset body of the Jaguar.
