- Houston's mayor confirmed four people had died, with more feared dead, after torrential rain and hurricane-force winds pummeled the city. FOX31's Talya Cunningham shows scenes from the storm.

So there was rain. I keep seeing storm stories on this. It's not easy to see a rain wrapped tornado. I drove in town during a rain wrapped tornado where I live. Was trying to get home from work. I had to find a way home through alleys and different streets I wouldn't normally take home. That's because there were trees and power lines down everywhere I turned. When I opened my car door you could hear the howl of the wind. A friend was with me and we parked in the alley because 2 huge pine trees were bending over so far that the tops were touching the ground. Come to find out wind speed was 150 mph. I'm certain there was a rain wrapped tornado really close to my driving path.

In every trial they must stand up for the witness they must bear, and do so resoundingly for God. No matter how God refines you, you remain full of trust and never lose trust in Him. This is what God asks of man, and man's heart must be able to fully return and turn to Him with every passing moment. This is a winner. Those whom God refers to as "overcomers" are those who are able to stand as witnesses and maintain their trust and loyalty to God when they are under the influence of Satan and attacked by Satan, that is, when they are in the midst of the forces of darknessIf you are still able to maintain a pure heart before God and true love for God no matter what happens, you stand as a witness before God, and this is what God refers to as being an "overcomer."
