Watch Islam vs Khabib leaked sparring footage: • Leaked sparring footag...
While training at American Kickboxing Academy, World Sambo Champion and Judoka Islam Makhachev pulls off a beautiful Russian Armtie Snapdown.
He did this today with Dustin's leg...he is so creative
Came back to watch this after the dustin fight. Crazy move
That was a j pull. idiot
@@MasterWaqqasits. Ot the same move idiot😭🤦♂️
Not the same move
@@Garfield-bd2ki ik but it's similar
Anyone else here after he did this in the 5th round?? Holy
That was a j pull. completely different
Its not the same move you absolute idiot 😭🤦♂️
Little neck tap and a fake shoot gave the brain too much to process. Masterful
One thing i like about Islam is dude has alot of tricks up his Sleeves. No one really gives him credit but i see this guy and his style of fighting dude is a wizard.
Yeah he showed the whole world after Dustin’s fight.
This dudes a ufc champ now!!!!
God damn he did the Russian tie snap with Dustin, and DC watching it too.
Nah he ankle picked Dustin
Its not the same move idiot 😭🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️
And that folks, is why Russian wrestling is on a whole different level than anyone else.
Which is why Khabib is afraid of wrestlers
@@Reimastered which is why u idiot are scared and come to bark on khabib's video..
dagestan*
This is quite common in Mongolian wrestling and sumo. Kyokushuzan is a Mongolian sumo who always did this technique
@@yashdhikle4825 hard to ask a question about something you didn't know I imagine.
Haha DC call that kid Ms.Machcvel after that happened.
You mean Mrs. Jones? :D
Mrs Jackson
The same thing he did in the Dustin fight just with his leg!!
Yep totally swept him into oblivion. I thought of this clip when I saw it happen. These Dagestan wrestlers on another level.
HE FUCKING PULLED THIS OFF. SHIT WAS INSANE VS POIRIER
Same takedown he just used on Dustin 😂
timing it perfectly on the backstep of the right foot just insane!!
On the slow down it looks like he is mimicing reaching for the leg. Gets wrestler to instincitvley kickback to sprawl. Which then sets up the snap down perfectly. OMG that was beautiful
He did this
Don't worry guys colby fans thinks he has better moves with his simple singles and doubles.
There is a huge difference between Dagestani wrestling and American Wrestling.
That was one of the most beautiful takedowns if not the most, I have ever seen in my life oh my god 🤤
UFC 302 bought me here
🔥 Sambo Pick 🔥trained this with a Sambo World Champion move is also called ( Venik ) in Sambo .
yes it is Venik (broom), Russian freestyle wrestling originated from Sambo so there are alot of actons came from Sambo
Speechless.
He did the same with poirier 😮😮
That's why you grab the wrist and up by the shoulder to close the gap and eliminate space. A Russian tie is useless if you're not over top of the shoulder and have a deep grip
At 32 seconds, he taps him on the neck to let him know not to resist.
Under arm head roll techniques
who is here after ufc 302
I bet they all cheered only by DC noticed it.
If you watch the full clip you can hear someone call out the move by name
I see all these tutorials on how to do this & they’re all wrong! If you slow this down you’ll see he not only pull his wrist he even swiped his right leg from his opponent all in one motion. #EPIC
I don't think he touches the other leg. The idea behind it is to make it look like you're about to shoot for the leg but naturally you'll move away so that you don't get grappled, but in the instance they do move that foot back they've only got balance on one leg, which is when you drag the arm across to the other side to bring them down. It takes great timing and precision to pull it off
@@masoom471 usualy wrestler touches or even grabs leg/foot to imitate shot - depends on wrestlers skill and speed. Sometimes wrestler just touches mat near foot - all are individual styles to make this move
This i fucking goat shit
To pull that off against a top mma fighter, knowing very well it's a close fight, he really had to pull something spectacular because Justin was game and was 2 / 2 going into last round!
2-2; Don't speak ever again.
nah 3-1
Amazing
Yo whats that song playing in the background
Dc going nutss🤣😂
crisp
That was dirty! (In a good way)
Some russian stuff is going on between them
anyone link tutorial?

I have no wrestling background. Can someone please explain why this take down is apparently so awesome, or his take down of Poirier. There seems to be consensus that it's awesome in the comments... But I'm just not getting why exactly. Thanks in advance.
Because it’s very hard to execute in real life. Another thing this snap-down is very rare move in Wrestling competition which been done few times in history of Olympic wrestling. It’s another level of Wrestling style where Islam didn’t use force but IQ + Style.
Thanks
Nice broo
This was not a russian tie. The russian tie is on the bicep/armpit and wrist. Islam had control of the kids wrist with a single hand, and the kid had a hold of Islam's wrist with his opposite side hand. Islam faked a shot to get him to pull his leg back then threw him off balance by dragging the arm across.
How i met your Mother
why he double tap his neck before that? was it plotted?
chase saldate (the guy who's wrestling islam) made a video about this whole sequence..he said it the neck tap was aa trick to distract u.

My baby ❤️
Wow
So fast
I can't tell what how his left hand contributes to this if at all? Anyone know weather it's a one hand thing or was his left playing a role. Other than tapping his head
He tapped his head with his left hand to distract him somewhat, then reached for his opponents right leg. That caused the opponent to step back and put his weight on his left foot, which Islam then dragged the opponents left hand across him, making him fall
He just used the right had to do it
th-cam.com/video/C5RlfWZdr2k/w-d-xo.html
@@dantemarzolo1879 The tap on a head looked like a sign to prepare for the number. Why did the red guy purposely lift his both legs when pulled? You can see it in slow mo
@@Arkliobybis when the guy in blue reached for the right leg, it made it look like he was trying to grab it. So red guy stepped his right leg back, and right when he was only on one leg blue guy swung red guys left hand across is body, making him off balance and lose his footing. So he was in air for a moment because blue made him lose his balance. Hope that made sense, its what looked like happened
Can you send it to me?
Watch the feet of the kid getting snapped, seems he is trying to get snapped. In slow motion his calves flex and appears to help "sell it" by jumping at the moment he is pulled down? Anyone with more experience have a comment? Seems slightly unnatural?
There are several tutorials online. The one by Chase (the kid on the receiving end here) is actually very good. That kid deserves a lot of credit. Her learned it himself and pulled off this very technical move, Mrs. Makhachev, in a high school tournament.
th-cam.com/video/C5RlfWZdr2k/w-d-xo.html
Scotti Lewis It’s pretty simple really. Chase saw Islam go low so he thought Islam was shooting in for a takedown. He moved his leg to defend against the takedown. Islam realized that he was off balance while moving his leg, pulled the right arm down, and let gravity do the rest.
Can someone explain whats happening
COrey I believe he faked a shot and as the guy sprawled he pulled his arm across his body for the takedown
It’s more like controlling your opponent, that you use their momentum in a drag to bring him down .
d barnett wrong
@@DanielJBarnett buddy had a two on one and Islam snapped him down breaking the grip lol
Km don’t think so
Why right just before the move he tappet the red guy on the back of the head twice? And why did the red guy purposely lifted both legs in the air after that to be twisted in the air? Do I smell bullshit?
lmao you don't understand anything
do you wrestle?
Russian’s wrestling is more than strength and doubles, beautiful to watch as oppose to the American one (beautiful too)
