After The Untamed, every emotional song I listen to feels like it's made for Wei Wuxian, Wangxian and is about this drama and I literally crying with songs I never did before :,,,,) I will never get over this masterpiece ever
I don't know if it's just me, but I like the drama a little better. While the novel was mostly focused on the relationship between Wei wuxian and Lan zhan (witch by the way was fantastic), the drama potraied Wei wuxian character so well, and I actually can feel the pain that he went through, while reading the novel it seemed for me that he's more care-free. And it's kinda nice to see that the novel is all about the bl stuff (and good storytelling), the drama does the justice for characters like Jin guangyao or Xue yang
THIS is what I want edits for!! Everyone always does main-ship ones which is fun and all, but the dramas focus in reality was about SO MUCH more than that.

Legit I cried watching this vid. It’s so painful and tragic and beautiful to see all these complex characters with their interesting and heartbreaking back stories. This drama (I havent done with the novel and I think the pain is 10x worse) broke my heart (the yi city arc made me cry like a baby and I dont know how to move on).
