I'm very surprised to see a few cards missing from this list - No Judy Hopps or Let it Go? Judy is almost necessary for the mirror (or Sorcerer's Spellbook) and Let it Go is more targeted removal.
I think for Ryan it was more so a preference to run what he did. He play-tests a lot so I think he just ran what works for him. I do think Judy Hopps is very solid! More draw is good!
Just a few thoughts: playing baby Gaston over Belle personally for another anti aggro option plus shifting on 4 to dig for a combo piece has been crazy good & readying with shield is just a bonus Judy is a need unfortunately, mirror/spellbook/lantern is just a blow out Eye of the fates is also insane in this deck and let’s u blow past the mirror Agree with cutting let it go, 99% of the time that card just says put me face down bc my only purpose is being ink
I like your thought process! I think Ryan liked the Belle in this case because he knows that even though he may not be doing much in the early game, he knows he’s going to have 10 ink quicker that his opponents and the Belle’s questing power for 5 helps him be able to catch up quickly
Gastonnnn Powerhouse!
This deck is crazy 😅
I’m tellin ya!

Interesting to not see any Nick Wilde
Yes but I think Ryan opted not to play it due to other options he preferred in this case

will lose to any rush deck. you have no power till 5th round
This is true. It’s a Rock Paper Scissors format 🤷🏽♂️ every deck has a disadvantage against something but I agree with you
