Working on one currently at work . I have had to fix a few things. Customer says the 4x4 is making a odd sound. But we cant figure out what sound hes saying. But his grill is all smashed in .so we think its the hood rattling . Just did the full transmission fluid filter change 15.5 gallons of transmission oil. And new fill cap with the new filter. 678 hrs. I do not like the engine bay having to dig out the filters covered in wires and lines. Great machine otherwise. Its a bear to change the oil on with the loader on. I prefer changing and servicing my kioti rx7320 i have at home lol . Just much more maintance friendly
I really love the new features on the m4-071, wanted a m7060 when we bought our tractor but didnt want to use the clutch all the time for loader work. Ended up buying a l5460 for a good deal. Love our tractor, but when we trade it in for a new one will deff be a m4-071. I love the e-clutch feature on the transmission like you said and the buddy seat would be a nice feature. I have a M4, you won't do much loader work efficiently, I find the bucket almost useless. I use a smaller HST MX6000 and a SVL for any loader work, way easier on either and way faster. However if this is your only tractor then I suppose you learn to make do, but I literally hate the M4 for loader work
I don't understand what the guy is talking about saying it's not good for loader work. I have close to 500 hours on mine and love it. I would not be satisfied with a smaller tractor. And we use the loader for everything from loading gravel to dirt to hay. Also have a trash bucket with pincher arms. Move lots of limbs logs firewood etc. Would buy another one tomorrow if I needed one.
I know this is an older video but if you’re still there,can you manually engage the dpf filter regen or is it always automatic,I ask only that when I’m operating at high rpm I would like to manually start it so that it doesn’t decide to start later as I’m getting ready to shut down for the day like John Deere machines do
why does the rev limiter indicator light come on by the 0 on tach when you engage the pto? is that somethg you can set? and when engaging your pto does the tractor shake? i had a older massey tractor with a soft start pto switch that was nice.. not such a harsh shake... do u know if this is possible on a m4?
Are you able to get me the length from tip of bucket to end of 3pt arms?! Looking to see if it will fit in the garage and my local dealer is struggling to find me the measurement as they have non on the lot!
I bought a m4d-071 in october 2019, really enjoy it but I have noticed the front tires run faster than the rear when I engage the 4wd on solid ground, have you noticed that on yours?
If you are sitting still on your tractor can you turn the steering wheel all the way in either direction or does it stop before it hits the end of travel?
Thanks for sharing. If you dont mind me asking, why did you tint the windows? My concern when I see this is that it won't adequately cool in hot climates...
Good question.. it does get hotter down here in south Texas with high humidity. On 100+ days the ceramic tint does knock down on the heat from the sun.. most tractors and RV’s are designed for 90 degrees. They will cool and keep you comfortable in those climates.. if you like the cab to be 68 degrees you will need tint.. you can usually expect 15-20 degree cooling from outside temp. If you want to push those numbers you will need ceramic tint.

It starts on its own.. you can postpone it with the buttons if needed.

I have the pto in eco mode.. if I put it in standard light will go away. It prevents pto overspeed

Does yours have limited throttle in 6th and if so can you turn it off?
It’s tied to the pto I think.. the rpm limiter keeps you from going over 540 pto when in eco gear. Shift your pto to standard speed and it should rev

No, it has the goodyear optitrac I think 320/70/24 front and 420/75/34, which tires does yours have

When I disengage you can feel it slow down, I talked to my dealer they are suppose to pick it up for that and a couple more issues

Just bought the deluxe and had the air suspension and third function added. Dealer puts LSW automatically and mine was 71k

Did you have any issues fitting the QH15 to the tractor? My dealer told me that QH wouldn’t fit this tractor.
Used bushings.. has low clearance on driveline. Just have to set low setting on dropping 3 point

I installed.. yes radio has Bluetooth mic and radio
