Very good design, i added zombies close to the villagers to stress them out and it makes iron golems spawn faster, 10/10 design
This for bedrock also and stressing villager isn't a feature in bedrock
@user-jz4me6ie7f I meant it makes them panic because there's a hostile mob nearby, making them want to spawn golems more frequently
@@pingziinyes I know but for bedrock it won't work
@@user-jz4me6ie7f it worked for me, weird
bro will we need zombie for this farm?
Love the design. I built this in my test work first (Java 1.20.4) and the villagers did not take their jobs. I repplaced the slab with carpet and they were able to see their workstation and prevented other spawns. I also made a rail around the cells for a zombie and replaced the full block (villager eye level) with a top slab so they can see the zombie. Runs wonderfully. May take the night for them to settle in so I suggest let them sleep once, then bring in the zombie.
For those wondering, the likely biggest reason Iron Golems aren't spawning for you, or aren't spawning very often is because the villagers need a threat nearby to make the Iron Golems spawn very frequently. Build a staircase up to the villagers, but don't connect it to the farm, have the zombie floating in the air. Place it in a boat, and make a roof for him out of blocks that *mobs cannot spawn on*. A few examples, bottom slabs, or any normal block with a button/pressure plate/carpet, even plain old dirt works if you right click it with a shovel to make it turn into the pathing dirt.
that's only for java
Working very well on java 1.20.1, what a surprise that zombies are not needed.
This is absolutely amazing ive been looking for a good looking iron farm thats good for my hardcore superflat
HARDCORE SUPERFLAT? My guy, go easy on yourself 😭
10/10 design raising the farm is genius, zombies are a good add!
Thank you ✨🥰
Very helpful when doesn't sau what ir how many is needed of it so will take long time if on survival and don't have the stuff on hanf
Using this in Java 1.20. This farm is most effective with a zombie present. I put one on rails looping around the perimeter of the farm and it works wonders. The farm may work at first solely relying on "gossiping", but the rates suffer or eventually crawl to 0 per hour. Once a zombie is introduced, you can safely rely on 500+ iron per hour. Make sure the villagers remain attached to their beds and workstations.
Can you explain a little bit on how u did it
on which high you made that with tzhe zombie
Place zombies near the villagers' chambers can increase productivity. Make sure they see each other
IT's work well. I know how to fix the problem. First some spot you put the zombie in some part you don't so there will be villager that are stress and some don't that make the iron golem spawn
Thanks bruh ❤
It works great.👍 I built 8 of these on top of each other and I make so much iron😂
nice work!
Tysm finally farm that doesnt need lava omg i cant place sign on a sign and every iron farm with lava i saw needed to have signs on top of eachother
Happy to help 🥰
shift then place to place on signs
Thank you 😊. You made something both for bedrock and java
And it's so good and efficient keep up the good work❤
You're welcome 😊
the amount if nitwits i had to kill for this is unfathomable
Can someone help me i built it but no iron golems are spawning then they started spawning but outside so i made all the grass blocks aroung it into path blocks to stop things from spawning on them but they arent spawning inside or outside now what do i do
im having the same issue, they are spawning outside
I've tried everything and no golems spawn, does it have anything to do with the cats or something else. Also the lava turn into cobblestone when the water hit
The gates are there to stop the water from falling in the pit
Make a platform between beds and villager it will surely work❤
If you are on Java add zombies
Thank you so much it works and look good👍 in bed rock
You're welcome 🥰🥰
I have to build it 100 block away from my villager hall for working?😮
Do I have tp separate the rooms?
Excelente amigo un like funciona muy bien
anything is wrong with my build... no beds around, no crafting tables... (ok, i have my own in my home-area, but its maybe 50 blocks away...) any ideas? I need more Iron :-)
Can i put multiple of this farm in one area? Like instead of putting 1, can i put like 2-4? Or, do they have to all be over 100 blocks from eachother?
do you play on java or bedrock?
@@RasberryGum bedrock
@@user-pz3qw5lf5o I never tried it before but if you play on java, yes you can build another iron farm nearby but if you play on bedrock I think it will not gonna work
@@RasberryGum Alright, thankyou bro the farm works great
If on bedrock 150 blcok distance not sure if u need
Does this farm have to be away from a village? I assume like others itll require bout 100 blocks or so?
Yes 150 blocks away from a village
I raised the platform like the video said but golems are still spawning on the ground. Any advice?
If you still have this issue, place leaves on the ground below. Golems shouldn’t spawn down there anymore :)
I feel like this is a dumb question but Does it have to be a fletching table or can it be any workbench that the villagers can work at? Could I use barrels
btw you can use any workstation, and thank you for asking 🥰
No needs a zombie?
@@LAXDD92 if we're talking for java only yes but it doesn't work for bedrock
Would it work if i build it in the middle if the ocean? Even though it might not be needed
yeahh
Do i have to bring villagers or can i just breed them when i get 2 there? (Bedrock 1.20)
you can breed them btw 🥰
@@RasberryGum okay, thank you!
The wood caught on fire 😢
Yeah
Does it matter if you put glass in the gaps in the wall in each pod
no it dosent
do i need to use a fletching table because i cant find like any in my survival world
Just craft the fletching tables
Does this not work with the most current version, everything is correct all the villagers connected to jobs, they all have beds, no where near a village
skill issue
Built this but can’t get any iron golems to spawn what am I doing wrong? I’m 250 blocks from the closest village
change your difficulties into hard mode and stand around the farm
Ive done everything right and no Iron Golems are spawning! Help?
I followed the tutorial, and added the five cats to stop cat spawns. Far from a village yet still, nothing. How can I fix this
make sure the villagers connect with their beds and have a job
If a use sings with the wood of the nether they will burn with the lava?
no they wont
My gollems aren’t spawning up top, I fixed some potential spots their were spawning and I added a zombie like some have mentioned, but now they aren’t spawning at all :c
do you play on java or bedrock??
@@RasberryGum Bedrock for me and i have same problem
@@RasberryGum respond please i have the same problem
And im on bedrock
I've built this and somehow iron golems keep escaping, causing the farm to stop. Ive cleared all the possible spawning locations around, so no idea how theyre getting out
Did u place leaves?
when i put the water on the brick it gose down to the lave and makes cobblestone even with the signs
Adjust one more block away
pls help , the iron golem won’t go past the signs and keeps dying w/o iron going into chest
i’ve been having the same issue, the golems die but the lava burns the iron and it doesn’t go into the chests
It spawns one golem every 20 minutes...
They always had contact with zombies they will always scared and still didnt worked
Works like majic 🎩
🙂↕️✋️
Helllooooo I’ve made this farm in my bedrock world and I’ve followed all steps like 100 blocks away from any sort of villager hall or village and I have four zombies to scare the villagers but still no golems and I have been waiting for an hour for them to spawn.. any ideas on what’s going wrong? Cats are spawning but no golems :(
i would make sure that all villager have linked to workstation as well as make sure they are all linked to a bed
Why do no iron golems spawn?
bro it was working good but it stops what is this problem
How did you get the villager to go up without moving them?
At night time, villagers can detect nearby beds so they automatically go there if you have a path that goes to the bed
Above thing , or u can use minecarts
Does this work on 1.20.6 java?
Why golem are not spawning only cats are spawning
It didn't work at first, bit after a cycle or two maybe? The villagers had slept multiple times. Not sure what caused the pause in iron golem appearing, but they did.
so it's working now?
@@RasberryGum No. I'm playing in survival/hard mode. Sometimes the golems would spawn outside the water area, and sometimes in. I had 3 stacks of 64 iron, so it was working besides golems appearing and falling over the side of the water trap. I killed those, and others would spawn properly. I also knew the presence of a zombie will speed up iron production. The golems were appearing, so the villagers had slept, and 18 of the 20 were bound to a fletcher's station. There were no other villagers around, so I don't know why those two didn't bind. They also didn't want to go into the rooms with the beds. They would go close, but I had to push each of them in. Those 20 villagers are the only in a 350ish block radius. I had to breed villagers and then move them via minecart to the rooms, break the cart, then push. For the zombie, I added a rail with 2 empty blocks between the zombie and villagers and powered it so all villagers would see the zombie as it circled in the cart. I covered the rail to keep out sunlight and covered the top with slabs to prevent spawning. When I was done, no more golems appeared. I had created a duplicate seed to run in cheat mode because I could not find any villages, and the nearest village is about 1,200 blocks away which I found by a locate village command (I forget the actual command name). I came back and destroyed everything new I'd added after your build to go back to the stage where golems were appearing, but even after going AFK for 6-7 hours, no more appeared. I built the iron farm on top of my base, so the villagers are about 20-23 blocks over ground level, and about 12 blocks over the roof of my base. I'm next to water, so the only thing I can think is they may have fallen into the water, and I didn't see them. I'll have to check that after work. I have no clue of any other reason that they would stop spawning unless one exsists in the water. I'm also not sure why they are spawning and able to get outside of the water pit. I cannot jump out myself without adding a temporary block, and my first build had similar issues. That chunk became corrupted, so I built this 2nd at a new base. The village I borrowed from was 1,700 blocks away, which was the nearest with live villagers. I skipped the campfires in the 2nd build, which was working until I added the zombie, and possibly lost golems in the water. Question - why do you need so many villagers? I was looking today for alternatives and Wattles had a similar farm operating fine with only 3 villagers. I'm just curious if there are advantages to having extra villagers?
@@RasberryGum Still no. I just went and looked in every nearby river, water hole, and any nearby dungeons that were high enough to allow a golem to go. I also looked through the woods, although I've cleared back about 100 blocks. The only thing I'm gathering are dead cats falling into the pit. The only other villagers besides the platforms are 2 in a spot I have about 30-40 blocks away from the 20 up top. I have these two for breeding villagers. So, that's 22 villagers max in the area.
is there a fix or a reset? It's not working, perhaps a zombie insertion? pleeease help
you don't need a zombie btw, do you play on java?

why the iron golem spawn out the the platform? (bedrock)
out side the platform?? maybe there is any blocks around the farm? like dirt?
Yea and if there is a high place the golem is gonna spawn there
I was using dirt for the wall my build suddenly bursts into flames
But dirt don't burn in Minecraft
The appearance is good and that's all. You will be able to find problems once you build this by yourself. 1. It's not very efficient without an extra Zombie chamber and the additional parts will make your farm ugly. Cosidering the amount of resources (20 villagers) for this farm, it's disappointing. 2. Villagers will accidentaly move on other chambers when they wake up from beds, which is very annoying and probably affects the efficiency.
I highly recommend building more popular and optimized one on your survival server if you don't need the particular appearance of this design.
in bedrock you don't need a zombie and you'll need more villagers than java 😔
The reason why there is 20 villagers on this build is specifically because this video tried to accomodate Bedrock as well. The calculations are completely different, honestly, look for videos that cater to the version you are playing on to avoid headaches.
Java iron farms are generally more compact, while Bedrock iron farms can be easily integrated into villager trade halls, since Bedrock villagers spawn golems without needed access to beds (they must still be present) and do not need to get “scared”. Most bedrock realms have their iron farms above trading halls, and it makes everything super compact and organized.
Bro what if I will build a traditional hall close to farm will it work?
It doesn't work u have to make it like 150 blocks away
How did you put the lava i am unable to do it help plz

why wont the villagers take the jobs even though the iron golem spawns
Probably because you are too close to a village
@@jacktamm5191that or chunk border issues
I did it in MCPE(bedrock) and it work very well!!
It didn’t work at first but I figured it out
Tips: you need the Npc to be connected to the right work bench and bed ( the same room)
This requires 5 of them to sleep first, have a job first and you can continue with another 5 and redo it
( let it sleep and work first carefull with it connecting to the wrong room if they connect their bed or workbench (fletching table) in the other room it wont work because they cant sleep and go to work)
My golem spawn right after once the last one is finished
So it need a lot of patience but it really work! Sometimes it spawn 2-4 at once
- i build it 200 blocks away from the village
- i build it in the water with flat platforms
- if i want to add extra layers to step on i will use leaves ( cause golem cant spawn on it)
- i really recommend doing it in the ocean cause there is no other mob spawning at all. Did it on a land before all the mob keep interrupting or killing npc i brought
thank you so much for pointing this out, I was so frustrated when the farm didn't work
