It's actually the solenoid that's freezing internally even when power is applied. It happens over time. Everything mechanical degrades at some point. By the way, make sure to inform your audience to remove the battery terminals before starting work on anything ignition/starter/mechanical related.If you nick the insulation of a wire and it grounds, your situation could get ugly fast...especially if it's ECU related.

will the 2004 mazda 6 start up with a low amount of coolant mine didn't start but when i checked the coolant it was empty so i filled it up and then it started
I took my car to the mechanic and there telling me that i need a whole new motor. I really think its my fuel pump fuse i already had my fuel pump replaced.

I have no signal to starter. Starter relay has 12v power with key on run, 12v ignition signal, ground with key on. But one of them has no ground or power. Im assuming i need ground :(

My issue is that my car won't turn off. Also, the cluster lights are all on even when I plug the battery. The power locks, windows, ac and so on do not work. Once I turn the key to turn off the car, the car stays on and the cluster lights also stay on. The only way to turn off the car is to remove the Main relay and remove the ground battery or else it will drain it. I can't find anybody to help me. I've replaced the ignition coil and it didn't help. I don't know what else to do. I'm hoping is the BCM .

Hi, you might want to check the main cable to starter and see if its corroded or at battery terminal. Also might want to make sure terminals are tight and nothing else is touching bare cable. That little wire on starter is what tells starter to fire up. Hope this helps, good luck!!
Well I will say that before the starter was replaced, this happened, so I pulled the battery and tightened the bolts. Seemed to work for a while and then two weeks ago started acting up again. The battery terminal are clean and tight as well. I will look at the main cable coming from the battery to see if there is a short or any corrosion. Of there is, is it an expensive fix?
It struggles to turn over. Sometimes it will turn once, stop then turn again and again until it kicks on. Some times It kicks straight on. Its also done everything in between, I have tried to replicate the conditions but I cant seem to get the same result.
Hi, that sounds like a defective starter or a bad battery. I had a defective starter that was very week, replacement was like a Gorilla!! Good luck bro.
Omg, I am having the same issue. Same car, same mileage. We recently replaced the radiator and we are still not holding fluid, but have no leaks. So I was afraid the engine seized. Thank you I will try this.
Don't ever even tap a positive battery post, it can and will cause the plates to collapse and blow up in your face. Take this warning for what it is it happened to me I took an ambulance ride and almost blinded.

Having the same type problem, but my (TCM 10A) and (eng+B 7.5A) kept blowing when trying to turn over? Any ideas please and thank you!

Its hard to say, not sure how its routed, So does it sputter or like the starter kicks out then back in?

My Mazda 6 just replaced the battery and now my car is showing the key symbol and will not start all the light come on
