@khanacademy forgive me, but with the last triangle, is it really still just 1/2 base times height? if that altitude you drew were actually a part of the triangle, then it would be 1/2 base times height, but if the altitude were part of the triangle, the triangle would've been considerably bigger.
yea @bestbladers....... on my calculator Kahn academy, I did 16 times 2 which is originally 8 times 2 which is 16 and another 8 times 2 which is all together 8 + 8 + 8 +8 just shortened and I got 32 as my answer. Is there a reasonable explanation for this????
I was confused on geometry, so thank you so much! But, what if I come across a triangle like the first one? I may need to know so you should put a video on equilateral triangles. /_\
