G-d is all of your life and in all of your life, whether you are alone or a social Bunny. It does not matter. G-d is here to save you, not change your personality and force you to become an extrovert. G-d loves you even as a anti-social person. If you dont like gathering with people, the Holy Spirit will sustain you. It is not a requirement and we are not under the law to do so. If you want to gather then fine and if you dont, then fine as well. Hebrews 10:24-25 has nothing to do with church attendance as we have it today. Two totally different systems from then and now. The gathering was more to encouraging one another to continue in the faith of Jesus Christ and not returning to Judaism and the Mosaic Law. They experience lots of social pressure to return to Judaism because Christianity was a small sect, considered a false religion. Remaining a Christian was no easy task, unlike today.
It is getting harder to finder a church that actually follows scripture, false doctrine is everywhere. People say just overlook it, I say... if it isn't Biblical, it's just a social gathering.
exactly...it is a social gathering...from the time you first see the coffee and cookies in the foyer to the chit chat of anything other than what Jesus is doing in our lives...i'd rather be a part of a gathering that really does church like they did in Acts 2. A one hour service once a week that has a set agenda...doesn't cut it
@@MarcusKotyk I do, but there is a difference in doing your best to follow Christ and living in sin. Mathew 13 "The four soils" tells us what it means to live in sin and be unfruitful. Only the fourth soil produced good fruit any multiplied it for the kingdom. The other 3 soils did not produce a crop and because the love of the world were more important.
Assembly of the saints, not non saints or unrepentant sinners, was not so much in a church building but homes or gatherings of close friends and family that are saints. Any one living in willful sin was not allowed but removed. Scripture, not personal opinions, not false doctrine of man's traditional beliefs, was only allowed. This is why finding a legit church service is near, if not impossible in today's world. And so the question would be more," Is it a sin to attend church?"
I feel rejected by the church community so I haven’t been going for a while. It helps my anxiety. I had too many eyes on me judging me and I feel more at peace now. There are a lot more services online now. I miss being in fellowship because of worship and praying together but I don’t want to face any more rejection
@@artforest3208 Yes it is sad that people can be so judgemental and not show love. We need more people like David Servant who is loving, caring, shows the fruits of the Holy Spirit & lives it out in his life to others and also speaks the truth of the Bible.
Stay away from these harlot houses. They are the synagogues of Satan. The scriptures are literally full of wisdom about this counterfeit bride called Christianity.
God is everywhere not only in churches, if you are a believer and pray to God you don’t need to go to church for God to listen to you. There are many ppl going to church and still sin, curse, have spiteful thoughts, how does that make them believers, just by going to church?I don’t think so
@@VekaparuraHarakuta Church original meaning in the times of Jesus Christ was "Community" ... So Jesus wanted us to go out and build his community "His Body"...Nothing was spoken of literally going to a building we call church. Sorry to spoil it for you. But Christ is everywhere and in everything , if you believe and spread his word to bring more people into the community of Jesus Christ then you are doing what Jesus spoke of. The CHURCH as we know it is a building that we go to to worship. However Jesus even spoke about this in his time. When he spoke of people going to synagogues and praying just for the sake of being seen praying and being perceived as Holy. He spoke against this. SO not sure were all these "Believers claim you Have to go to Church " ,,, It is just not true. You have to have God and Jesus in your heart first and foremost
Nice try but that's not a scriptural concept. The church can meet in any building. They can meet in a home, coffee shop, restaurant. The church building as we know it today is an invention of Constantine.
The Church is Jesus Christ within our hearts, His word producing those fruits that lead to everylasting life, in the absence of which our bodies are naturally producing those fruits that lead to death.
Twenty years ago, I was at my lowest point in my life. I clinged on to God and went to church because I wanted to be surrounded by fellow believers. However, never have I ever felt so alone after attending church. The people were nice but I felt so alone. Everyone knew each other and they were all chatting away with each other. I was new and although they were nice, I felt left out. After the service, people would catch up with the each other and although one or two talked to me, I felt like it was just for the sake of trying to entertain a new person. I remember going walking to the bus stop and feeling even more depressed than I was before going to church. Tears used to flow down my cheeks and God saw all of that. I began to church hop but I've never really found the right one. It's like something is missing and my heart is not satisfied. I just listen online services may of the times now. Please pray that I'll find the right church soon.
@darthjedi99 True. I guess at the end of the day, you need to be active in church to be part of the gang. But yeah, there are so many cliques. I'm sure they're nice people but a little bit of an effort to reach out to the new members would be nice.
I know how you feel I'm the same My anxiety gets so bad St times in crowds and I feel like I don't belong .I will pray that you find a church that you feel the love of God in .Love and hugs
@endtimesareuponus8930 There are a lot of good Christians in church. To me, a church is like a school. If you go there every day, then you'll definitely find your group of friends. And those who belong to the smart group or actively participating in class activities will be recognised. Whereas those like me who attend school just every now and then while sitting at the back row will feel left out. What the churches need to learn right now is hospitality to the newcomers. We all feel wanted and hungry for love. After all, Jesus came here for the lost.
No its not a sin. We ARE the church. Going TO church is a tradition of men. I meet with like believers constantly. I dont need to go to a harlot church to congregate with brkievers.
My anxiety prevents me from going and I feel as if I don’t belong. I volunteered to help arrange an event that they were having, and I realized that all the volunteers were laughing and chatting with each other and I was by myself doing another thing. I felt so alone despite being around so much ppl
You are not alone. I also have anxiety and feel the same. EWTN network helps. You can do spiritual communion. I feel that it is important to go every Sunday to receive the body and blood of Christ but it is a process. Especially if you’re dealing with anxiety. God knows you are trying. Keep trying. Most important thing is to love your neighbors and try to forgive your enemies 🙏🏽
Me too. There's so many things I could suggest, but I'm sure you've already researched. Don't ever quit. Don't fall into the pit of blaming others for anything that comes from inside you. Do keep trying! Pray for God to take anxiety from you. Never forget Satan is the cause of anxiety, never God, who loves you so much!
Once my eyes was opened to all the pagan traditions the churches follow, I did what revelation told me to do, I came out. I've learned more in the past few years reading my Bible daily, than I learned going to church my whole life.
God knows that I have been searching for the most logical answer to my question: "must I go to church as a rule I must follow on a regular basis?". Is this admonition supported by Scripture in the Word? Assembling with other believers is, worshiping is, meeting and encouraging are. I thank the Holy Spirit for answering my question through your commentary. Jesus never said his followers had to meet at a specific building, what many call a "church". His Church is the Body of believers. Thank you. I am blessed by this video and time in God's Word.
Going to church doesn't save nobody. The church is believers not a building. Acts 7:48. It is important to learn the word of God and more about Christ. This is the reason the Bible was created because it has all the information of God, doctrines, Jesus, Salvation, and instructions. Church can't teach you all things about God, even the "Bible believing Churches". It is important to be by like minded believers, this is why we should be the church and not go to church.
I’m tired of the busyness of church. Easter egg hunts and now trunk or treat these things aren’t even biblical every time I turn around there’s a brunch a meeting and always have to bring something I know, I’m ranting I’m just tired.
I don't know how to reply to comment, but this about the person who isolates themselves. I am very isolated, but not for selfish reasons at least I believe so. I moved to a small town and didn't really know anyone but a few people. The one person "I thought" was a good Christian friend, hurt me pretty bad. She divulged that she loved me, loved me then turned around and ended our friendship (twice) because I wasn't "lifting her up spiritually" I didn't judge her once for what she divulged to me. I told her I didn't believe in that and couldn't reciprocate. Then the other "so called Christians" in my life look down their noses at anyone who lives the way they think a person should live, told me that all the bad happening in my life is God punishing me, and gossip to no end. Nothing you tell them in confidence stays in confidence and if I don't start going to Church and "living for the Lord" I will go to hell. It is them and people like them that keep me from going to Church. You can't feel a part of a "body" if you're not treated as part of the body and then one mistake and it's like all the good I've done is non-existent. Very judgemental people! I also have problems being around other people in general (social anxiety). So, I literally have no friends and am alone 99.9% of the time. If I'm not around people I can't be hurt by people.
The institutional church is so top down, political and unscriptural these days, I just can't go. I sit and watch and listen and could just cry - and actually have. Then someone thinks you aren't saved! No, I am saved and I am grieved!
I love you too, brother, and I think you are spot on!💙 My husband and I used to be leaders in the church building we attended. We no longer attend and never found a church with like-minded folks in our area. It is important to us to hear the entire word of God and not just the fluffy parts, so we are busy "being" the church wherever we are, and do "church" daily with a tiny handful of people. It seems that most church buildings are loath to speak about hell, or obedience, or repentance, or the book of Revelation for instance, and will often call it "legalism" and don't realize they have been indoctrinated into new age thinking. Jesus is the truth, which means the ENTIRE truth, and not just the parts that fit into our own agenda. I am by no means perfect, and I know that we are saved by grace through faith; but I also know that grace gives us the power not to continue in sin. I simply have to be about my Father's business, you feel me? ☺
I agree with you, the church should be about Jesus and being in the Presence of God. I do not go to chat with people. I think like the previous writer spoke the church has changed with all the different ones teaching new doctrine. My landlords are Christian I spend time with them. One of the biggest reasons I stopped going is because of the tithe . I know the Pastor has living expenses but many work. I found when I gave 10 percent I did not have enough to live on the rest of the month. When got told I’d to do that rent was not almost what got every month. And my next issue is having to have someone else drive me to the church knowing they get ready themselves . I live in the country so it’s extra driving time. I have gone through this for years and you never ever heard me talk like this when went to the church with the greatest of all Pastors we all loved. He went home to the Lord to get his reward recently and it grieves my heart but been hundreds of miles from his church for about 10 years! He will be missed but am sure He has His reward! I grew more in those years than any since! “Well done good and faithful servant”.
I love my brothers from my church, but when I go there, I feel so alone..I feel like I don't exist. My pastor doesn't listen to me, no one does. I really can't seem to commit to going, it's stronger than me. Plus the sermon is 90% singing and 10% the word of God, I really don't understand it. Please pray for me!
Aymou, this is not right, because it's not about going to church because we are the church, the church is a place where we connect with others in a spiritual way where it keeps us away from the deceitful sin! Honestly, try talking with the pasture about this problem of him and others not listening to you and treating you transparent. If this honestly continues, you really have to consider changing to a different church! The church you're in just doesn't have that if this continues! Brother/sister, hope that you may be blessed by the Lord and the Holy spirit to be brimmed within you! Wish that you can find a church where you feel the healing from our Lord! God bless ye!
I know what you mean by the 90% singing and 10% scripture. If I wanted to go to a singing I'd go to a singing. I feel the same way. You should go to church to hear the word of God and to worship. If you repent for your sins and accept Jesus as your Lord and Saviour and live by the WORD of God then you are saved and forgiven. People need to remember a church is a building with sinners attending. I attend no such building and have a daily relationship with our Father. I grew up attending every denomination if church you can think of. Your body is your temple. Church is within you. Read Gods word and pray. Love God and know who Jesus was and why he came here and what he endured. I will pray for you and I hope you will pray for me as well. God bless you.
I think you need to reconsider either changing church or just staying home. Do you have Christian friends you can do things with or just get on the phone if you need to chat. You can still grow as a Christian without going to church..and sometimes it's not a safe place to go some of these churches until you are a more mature Christian.
A lot of the church members at the baptist church I grew up going to were always asking me “have you got a job yet?” “Got a car yet got a license?” Never spiritual questions about my bible reading and what I’m doing in my walk with God I felt so nervous and left because of the pressure and stress they gave me, they’re not my friends anymore and I try to stay away from people. I don’t know, that’s just me. I worship God alone at home.
I had the same experience. I felt stressed when asked do I have a car? Than they would include them in sermons or during testimony time. I felt judged and rejected. I'm still looking for a church home
@mhart2269 I enjoyed going to church when I was younger and I still desire to go to church, just having a hard time-finding one here where I live. I might need to move
I do not go to church, not because I don't want to go but because there are no churches where I live, and because of that I received lots and lots of judgement from people including my friends who live very far from where I do.Whenever I bring up Jesus or the bible to any of my friends, they just move from the topic and start judging me for not going to church and they say I am not a true believer and as kind as I am, I did not argue, swear or even fighting with them, I just asked them "who is really saved?", I don't go to church yet every morning and every night I pray to God, every time I do what I think god will not except I go down on my knees and ask for forgiveness, I still do believe in god, I don't judge, I help, I read the bible, I talk about god to almost everyone know and just like any other christian I am not looking to get credit for that. They say that they are true believers and I am not, yet they are focusing on judging and I am focusing on balancing my relationship with God. I do actually think that I am doing is right but if I am not then my ears are open to what a anyone would like to say to help me go to the right path
Everything in life cannot be ideal. It would be best for you to have that extra support. You can't be your own advice giver, for example. But you can interact with Christians online for the time being. It seems people are always looking for cracks in your armor these days.
You're more a Christian than any of those people judging you for not going. It brings me back to the story with the pharisees who gave large amounts in the offering and the poor woman who gave just a penny. (She gave all she had and Jesus was proud of her). God can meet you where you are, and He is most proud of your faith. Don't let people pressure to go to a building where people find more pain than healing anyway. Keep being faithful to God no matter where He has you.
I speak regularly with my Christian friends mostly on the phone as we are not close to each other. I would think this satisfies the gathering of worshipers even though we are physically together.
I read the Bible every single day. But I do not attend church. I love having a personal relationship with God. I get his message directly through reading the Bible myself. Yesterday I finished reading the entire bible for the 4th time since my rebirth March 2023. Up until then I hadn’t read a full book in my entire adult life (38). I really despised reading. Our God is so powerful man! We are so Blessed with his Grace!
AMEN ITS GOOD TO READ HIS WORD THROUGH THE HOLY SPIRIT AND PRAYER I HAVE DONE FAR BETTER NOT GOING TO A CHURCH BUILDING I DONT THINK I REMEMBER ANYONE OF THEM GIVING THE GOSPEL OUT TO PEOPLE
Preachers want people to come to their buildings called church and give them money to help run it but Bible says in Mark 16:15...And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.
I used to live in the mission house but left because of internal conflicts but that did not mean I quit church. However since I left church mates like throwing comments about my hair,my attire and it makes me uncomfortable.Consequently ,I find it difficult to go to church when I'm on my lowest.
The church I attend now is more like a clique than a church. The only time someone new shows up is when a baby is born. No discipleship whatsoever. I no longer wish to go to this building full of those who have no grasp of what it means to be a Christian.
Many people are not obeying, people are not being rebuked for wrong living wolves in sheep's clothing target churches and they are not stopped. I have fellowship on a Christian radio station, their in your home phone e-mail for prayer, good teaching, good witness to the world UCB 1 AND 2.
I get together with my brother once a week to study and listen to the sound doctrine of the Word of God through Jesus Christ. We also talk on the phone every day. The uncompromising Word of the living Christ along with prayer and worship. We are online members of a pastor in Hawaii who is censorsed for speaking the truth on this platform. His uncensored preaching is on his website. Lord bless you all! Maranatha!
If that pastor of Hawaii is Miguel Cardona then you are deceived. He is a liar and a grand hypocrite...I should know because I'm his half blood brother who he wished me deceased...Brother, trust in God and go with Him, not him or pastors.
Thank you. Cause this dude at work doesn't understand I don't have to go to church cause I don't need to. I have him at work and 2 others I meet up with on Fridays. Lol man folks get extra excited when they find Jesus, they light weight try and force others to see Jesus through their view from their hole they dug themselves in to even hear HIS voice. God is good
I left my church a few months back. I'll lie if I'll say I don't miss the people but I don't miss the teachings. I'm struggling to go back there or any other church. Your answer really helps me al lot to take in consideration. Thanks again.
During Covid times it’s hard for some people to go back to church when they use to go all the time during pre Covid but I still been going to church despite the Pandemic. If your scared to go to church just watch it online. God still forgives you during Covid if you didn’t attend mass.
The church is the called out ones not a building point being come together to encourage one another in our most Holy faith. Paul did this by calling believers out to a meeting to hear the word of God.
I moved house right before the first lockdown to south east England. My local church closed but once it reopened, I couldn't bring myself to go. The rules of limited numbers, mandatory masks, socially distanced, banned socialising, no singing were all too disturbing. They've closed again anyway. So I have no church or fellowship and not sure what to do about it. I'm a relatively new Christian. Online bible teachings have been the hugest of blessings.
Dear Debbie tune into UCB1 or 2 I mostly do 1, you can e-mail on subjects ask for prayer good teaching down to earth good Christian music, give it go ou will not regret it , God bless dear one.
Same here Debbie and I feel like I am getting more out of what I am listening to at home in the quite with my Husband. I miss going but still get full right here at home we are to gathered to worship and Jesus the Holy Spirit of course God. The trinity head makes us a special group. God bless and keep worshiping you are so Loved. Not alone in that there are many.
I have struggled with church attendance my entire life. Most of that time I'm not sure I was actually saved, but even after a full repentance 6 years ago, I still find church attendance to be a chore. I'm glad when its over. It has nothing to do with the teaching or the music or the congregants. I would just simply rather be at home. I've been going regularly now for almost a year, but every Sunday morning, it requires a small internal battle, and strong act of the will to go. I don't know if I have a spiritual problem, or that I'm just not a very social person. I have forced myself to volunteer for things, and attend men's bible studies (even though I don't really want to) all in an effort to "train" myself to be a "church person" and be obedient. It's tough.
I feel exactly the same way! I have a real struggle as you do every Sunday. I don't go every Sunday but after 2 weeks of nit going I think I need to. I like the singing..sometimes..and learn something..and like to talk to some of the people..(not very often do I get approached by anyone who goes regularly) but on the whole I'd rather be somewhere else and I do feel guilty about this. I have wondered if I have a problem, if tge enemy is attacking me or if I just don't want to go! I have been to this one particular church for one and a half years. Maybe I need to try another church. I really don't know! Glad Im not alone though as I can see by alot of the comments.
If you go and do what they say, you may be sinning. Church building attendance was Constantine's idea. Not God's. Plus many teach tithing instead of obeying Matthew 25:35-40. We wouldn't give a pastor a dime.
@@joolspools777 you're s hypocrite. I read what you wrote in other posts. One, you can't read. Someone tells you what God's Word says but you won't admit that's what it says. You are rude to them and refuse to apologize. I would not want to meet you in church or anywhere. You don't represent Jesus. Repent so He can change you.
I am from a buddist country and I go to the monastery sometimes just because its quiet and cozy there. I am not religious but the statues and paintings are fun to look at.
Many ago pastor David Wilkerson wrote a newsletter entitled’Gods doing a new thing in His Church.’ What you said is in concert to his insight of long ago.
When Heb. 10:24 was written there were no church buildings so it cannot mean go to a church building. It simply means to stay connected with brothers and sisters in Christ.
I was saved at the beginning of 2020 & my first thought was "who could shut down every church (building) in the world?" I was thinking Satan, but maybe God meant it for good (Gen.50:20) I took this as warning that maybe God does not want us in these institutions. If I'm wrong, I pray for God to show me the truth.
I love the fact he broke this scripture down about Hebrews 10:25 by including additional content. I’ve had several people (pastors and ministers, included) to quote that, to which I quickly say this: “we’re fellowshipping right now”. That quickly shuts them up. It’s irrefutable. I didn’t run away or forsake the conversation, whether in a building or out of the street; etc. Seriously, are we not 2 people that have Jesus in the midst such as in Matthew 18:20? Unless they approached me with ulterior motives-which most of them have. It’s their way of trying to control you to do what they do. Like I tell people: “just because it’s different, doesn’t make it wrong.” So the fact they don’t see you on Sunday-Saturday in a building alongside them, doesn’t necessarily mean you’re not with them, you’re just not with them during those timeframes in that manner. So I also love what he said: “it depends on how you define church” because it also depends on how you define fellowship. Love & light to everyone!
I’ve recommitted myself to Jesus 2 months ago who is awkward and shy it is tough to find a home church. Sometimes you just sit there and listen. It seems like i could just watch sermons online but i n is it’s important to have that fellowship of believers and get away from tradition. It can be lonely. We all need encouragement from one another. These days everybody say they are Christians but do not truly strive to follow Jesus. I don’t know !!! A home church can be more personal and you can connect
I have missed Church last Sunday due to me coming back from vacation and today is Palm Sunday and I will not be attending due to me being tired and having to do things around the house. I will be listening online from home but can't help to feel guilty for not attending in person today.
Excellent Bible interpretation. But I will add that, if there are no good home Churches nearby, start praying in your home daily & on Sunday. Let us not say that not going to any church is a sin. We are the church, if God is with us.
The modern church has a lot of issues. I've recently stopped going because the structure isn't fulfilling. I've been trying to stay connected with Bible studies and other meetings.
I agree with almost everything you have said, however sin is a force that works in us , not going to church is not a sin, all the believers I know that don't go to church don't go because they have been hurt and offended by the abuse of church authority and its not helpful to condemn these people however if you are not part of a group of believers then you are missing out in a lot of the blessings that God intended for his people, you don't grow and your children and grandchildren can miss out. I have been around Christians for over 40 years and I have not seen a single church that practices discipleship however God is in the business of church reform and I see a lot of change coming around this area along with having all things in common, Gods unconditional love expressed through his church, restoration of selfless Apostles who have no concern for material wealth but only building the kingdom of God, ordinary Christians doing signs, wonders and miracles, weak and poor people (by tthe worlds standards) being powerful men and women of God (like Davids mighty men on velour). The church challenging the emerging world empire, the Jews accepting Jesus as the messiah and both groups being murdered for their faith and much more
Don't confuse going to church, where "two or more are gathered in My name," with church business. Those buildings that host events where they pass around the plate and fund-raise each week are "church businesses."
😆 my church members used to keep telling me that i was fat when i was a kid. I'm no longer fat (maybe their nagging was a good thing?)'but i domt feel like im growing when i go to church. It's just become a social gathering where you're expected to always attend. I'm 18 and even the teens sunday school is just a boring presentation. No engagement whatsoever and it doesn't feel like I CAN ask or engage comfortably. My parents are upset that I'm no longer going but it just doesn't feel right to me.
What a vital topic. One of the least preached texts is 1 Cor 14:26-33 which describes EXACTLY HOW we are to ‘gather together’, yet few churches do so in the manner described. Instead, we follow the traditions of man, and as a result the church in the West is dying. We can be such idiots!!
You are a WOLF who Will give an account to God. You need to repent and get saved. "You will know them by their fruits". Your evil fruits are evident from all you wrote in various posts. You're probably Lazy like pastors so you support them being lazy. Shame On You. Bible tells All to Work. Jesus worked. Apostle Paul worked. You are leaving Jesus Hungry and Needy around the world by not obeying Matthew 25:35-40 with your whole heart. I believe Jesus will say to you "Depart from Me I never knew you..." Read Matthew 25 and Heed HIS Instructions and Warnings ! You claim to know more than God. That's Satanic.
There are many other reasons why people do not go to church & it is not always a sin.on the part of the person not going to church but a sin on the part of certain members, elder/s or the pastor or all 3. I would say that most of us do not have the option like you David to go to a small House Church that encourages, loves, accepts, helps people to grow as Christians & become true disciples. After all you do say that there are many goats in the church, which can include the pastor & elders, mixed with the sheep. What happens to people if they meet to many goats who don't accept them. Do the goats pick on the large high up sheep that they cannot attack so well. No, they pick on the vulnerable weak, smaller sheep, the sheep who is alone who are easier prey & cannot stand up for themselves & who most people would not listen to. David you are in a much more privileged position than most of us. You have been a pastor, have many Christian friends, you have Christian family, children etc. You are not alone & have never faced life as some people have who have no family & who often feel & experience rejection by the church
I was once asked to comment on the institution of the church in two areas. I have two responses here. 1. THE CURRENT INSTITUTION MODEL "The church is more than the sum of its parts, it's also structure, presentation and functionality. When the sum of its parts no longer come together as scripturally recorded in 2nd Corinthians chapter 14 (and other places recorded) then there is a problem. A few things you don't see in New Testament scripture: Denominationalism The law of tithing Prioritized building projects The Greek theater style of worship Full time paid positions Rock concert style worship The one man show that is the pastor with a spectator audience who is the congregation passively sitting in the sanctuary that is set up as a Greek theater. The one and a 1/2 hour long service once a week. Card carrying church memberships. Allowing the government to dictate terms and conditions through which it would be ALLOWED to operate. All those things mentioned above slowly crept into the church over time while the church was acquiescing to the culture of its day and the government of its time "26 What then shall we say, brothers and sisters? When you come together, each of you has a hymn, or a word of instruction, a revelation, a tongue or an interpretation. Everything must be done so that the church may be built up. 27 If anyone speaks in a tongue, two-or at the most three-should speak, one at a time, and someone must interpret. 28 If there is no interpreter, the speaker should keep quiet in the church and speak to himself and to God. 29 Two or three prophets should speak, and the others should weigh carefully what is said. 30 And if a revelation comes to someone who is sitting down, the first speaker should stop. 31 For you can all prophesy in turn so that everyone may be instructed and encouraged. 32 The spirits of prophets are subject to the control of prophets. 33 For God is not a God of disorder but of peace-as in all the congregations of the Lord’s people.....39 Therefore, my brothers and sisters, be eager to prophesy, and do not forbid speaking in tongues. 40 But everything should be done in a fitting and orderly way." 2 Corinthians 14: 26-33, 39-40 Just so you know that there's no bias on my part I'm not only a pastor I am ordained and have held a position in church leadership in the past and in all good conscience, will not do so again within the current church construct unless it changes. So now the unasked question that remains is, is the modern institution of ther church in Sin. I don't think that they are in sinn no. They have strayed from their 1st century model who were corporately in community everyday of the week, yes. Now today in all fairness they do encourage small group meetings and activities outside the church building. However the current system makes it easy for Christians to be lazy (Sunday Christians) and unfocused and it does nothing to foster the 1st century Christian experience, with the exception of places where Christianity is either illegal or under heavy persecution. Its my opinion that the reformation didn't go near far enough to divorce itself from Roman Catholicism and its practices. Church and state had no business mixing company. And so what we have today is that the church in North America and Europe etc is free to worship and carry on it's business as it feels fit as long as it meets governmental guidelines. So you guys who are wondering... follow your God given conscience. I personally attend a congregation. I still have work to do within until God calls me out, and many of you do too. Just be aware. I also have an open door policy where I encourage taking the Church out of the church and into the home, the street and the workplace for fellowship, worship, and community/ communion. " 2. CEASARS AND THE CHURCH (from a Canadian legal perspective) "So tell me if I'm wrong here but here's something that has been bothering me. When churches applied for and registered as a charity, they invited Cesar to dictate the terms. Example: CRA requires an application and an annual report. The application process involves documentation including constitution and bylaws, list of directors, proposed budget, and information on your purpose and objectives. Churches are required to have official card carrying members and maintain a quorum and hold official membership meeting complete with minutes of the meetings that have to be surrendered to government officials when requested. Churches need to complete a T3010 and file with the government. They yoked themselves and surrendered autonomy to Cesar. And now that Cesar has the "chairman's seat" at the table, he's never going to relinquish it. In fact he's planning an hostile take-over."
Thank you for this. I am Canadian and felt very educated by your comment. Any churches I have belonged to in the past have been the Theatre Style you mentioned. I have struggled with denominations as I was raised in a no church secular way. I was baptized as a child overseas but our family rarely spoke of church and only spoke of God at Christmas. I am severely agoraphobic and don’t go anywhere alone so attending a Church full of people is out of the question (if there are even a lot of congregants yet since everything is only just opening up). I am seeking help for many health issues I have been dealing with since I was in a car accident in 2018 and for now I am doing the best I can to love Jesus and love others.
We read a devotional and there was a day on this subject that changed my thought process. It said "You don't have to go...you GET to go. You get to confess your sins. You get the forgiveness and absolution of your sins. You get to hear His Word based on the Christian calendar at that time. We're fortunate enough at our church to receive communion weekly (and man, do I need it), giving us a constant reminder of that sacrament for the forgiveness of our sins in His body and blood. We get to study His Word and find the Law and Gospel in a passage. It's not a burden, it's a blessing.
The problem for some is not really people, it may just be the theology and teachings of that specific church or thier conduct as a church that may be an issue for them, the Bible also warns to beware of false teachers and false prophets, others may have other unique situations like they themselves are called to be Pastors and begin thier own Church and ministry.
Destroy this temple and in 3 days I will rebuild it. You're exactly right! They thought he meant the temple of the building then. They think the building today is the temple.
I don’t go to church much anymore because I have to work on Sundays due to the nature of my business. I still gather every other day with my cousin who is a matured Christian to pray together. I also have 2 other very close brothers in Christ to fellowship over meals or play golf. I find church rather awkward and pretentious, and not very conducive for real fellowships. People would go for services, and then rush off to other agendas for the Sunday. Furthermore, whatever preachings at the pulpit was very “milky” in nature, and I felt spiritually malnourished. Yes, there were cell groups available, but it’s often led by a person who at most can teach at a superficial level.
Yea i go to church. Used to i should say. Then kids grew up left home. I go by myself nobody ever says hi. I not looking for hey here i am drop to the ground. But go week and week. Its lost so many ppl b all the regulars no longer are there. Mass attenance is very small. I dont mind going by myself feel nothing
I wish the video would have been updated to include the whole pandemic issue. I have not been to church since the pandemic started. I am in my sixties with several serious heart problems. The churches are no longer doing anything to protect older or health compromised people which they could do. They could devote a couple of pews in the back just for those who still feel the need to mask or sit farther apart. But nothing. So we continue to sit at home and watch church on t.v. I really don't feel that the Lord expects me to possibly put my life in danger simply to just say I was physically there rather than watching in the safety of my home. There is still a pandemic going on whether people want to believe it or not. I do agree church is where we should be during normal times. But just because less are dying, does not mean its over. And no one knows how any given person is going to come out if they catch it. I really feel that in an effort to make sure everyone knows they are not going to be told what to do, the churches have "thrown the baby out with the bathwater" and done away with any semblance of precautions. Which in my opinion is irresponsible. They could devote small areas of the church for older people with health problems, but none do that I have found.
No it’s not a sin but when you’re a visually impaired man like I am you’ll be appreciative of going to a church building several times a week least it gives me something to look forward to and grow spiritually God bless!
You can always go to another church if you feel uncomfortable but church is not close by. I only go to Orthodox so I pray at home but I love going and I can't wait till I move to Greece because the churches are right near us.
Lots of hurt in the comments here’ . Lots of disappointment and discouragement. I’m so sorry brothers and sisters. I feel your pain. We are believing in a move of God to bring us together in fellowship in our homes. Walking and living out the life we were meant to together.
I don’t like going to church because I get scared I’ll get in somebodies way or if somebody doesn’t like me in that church. I am a daughter of god, even though I don’t like going to church Z
No where in the Bible does it say "Go to Church" these buildings are pagan temples and synagogues of Satan. Don't be deceived by them, come out from among them my people and be ye seperate saith the Lord. Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come. John 16:13
I belong to small Bible study group I love it. They encourage me to read the Bible and obey God’s words. Then why is it my family(mom, aunt…) thinks I’m not obeying God’s words by not going to church.
Whether in person or on the internet. As long as you're sending that man money, that's all they really care about. I'm trying to figure it all out myself through prayer and reading Gods Word. I'm trying to be condemned or approved by the Holy Spirit.
We are talking about SUNDAY ATTENDANCE not “ASSEMBLING” I go to bible study ever tueday but I don’t go To church in the morning. According to this video that means. I’m good?
I got a question why in Acts 17:24 says that God made Heaven and Earth and does not dwell in Temple buildings made by human hands🤔 and then in Ezekiel 16:31 it says you build your Pagan shrines on every street corner and your altars to idols in every squire, in fact you have been worse than prostitute so eager for sin that you have not even demanded payment! What does this mean it sounds to me like he's not in church buildings? Please help me with this😣
Your body is the body of Christ. Do not do anything to destroy the temple People are the church (temple) Jesus is the foundation (I will build my house on s rock).
For me I’m comfortable with doing Bible study from home and I know god want us to love people but there’s judgy people in church or the church people that are stuck up.
Contemporary church's are more like rock concerts than a church service. Mostly music and singing. No altar but a stage with a band. Young people like that but there is nothing solemn or holy about it to me.
Church is where two or more are gathered in His name, it only takes one other person than yourself to have church, fellowship is important and learning what the bible teaches is important, however, going to the wrong church can have you living in condemnation depending on what their teaching, if they say what your doing is sin and you keep doing it, then you are a slave to sin, if they say what your doing is a sin, I would ask them to PROVE it by God's word, if they can't prove it by God's word then their dreaming it up, saying not going to church is a sin is one example, not going to church is not a sin, it might be stupid or smart depending on what your seeking, someone saying you have to go to church to be saved is trying to make you feel guilty or be condemned or think God is against you, how will the people respond when it comes the time where God tells them to come out of her? in the last days, so many believe we are in the last days yet still go to church, I have to agree with the one's leaving the church's of today, I've been to many of them and have yet to see one preaching or teaching the truth fully, just parts of the truths and many of them that cause people to divorce and many more that cause people to not have a desire to seek God by talking about things they have no business talking about, like the things that go on behind closed doors if you know what I mean, they turn more away from God than they lead to Him by making it so hard to believe in God and obey Him, two issues going on now that turn so many away are major issues which has to do with sex, having sex before getting married and masturbation, condemned by most church's but not condemned by God, the main reason comes from these people or church's not knowing God's Law but walk after the deceptions of their own hearts, dreaming up things to call sin that God doesn't, most people that know God's law will not murder, commit adultery, rape someone, commit incest, sleep with the same sex sexually, cheat on that person their in a sexual relationship with, have sex with an animal, try to uncover the nakedness of someone related to them by blood or marriage, do to a prostitute for sex, all these things in the law is what fornication means but because they don't know what fornication means they have to dream up a meaning for the word, they ADD to God's word or His law and teach having sex not being married is a sin or masturbating is a sin which neither of them by the law is a sin, they will use scriptures they read they don't understand to back their belief or they are simply given to man's customs or traditions, run from these people or they will have you living in fear of the unknown, probably living in self condemnation to, don't fear them, stand up to them, their power is only in their speech
You are churched, church isnt a building it is the people. I have not gone to church in years and God has taught me so much not mans way but His way. You use scriptures promoting church attendance but there are many that contradict what you say as well.
Hi Victoria ! There’s a channel called “We Are Jesus Doers” that has Bible studies, homework, and online group meetings. They go over all parts of the Bible, including the difficult times that Jesus warns us about. I think it may help you.
The Holy Spirit asks me to share this Biblical TRUTH without compromise for those who firmly believe that the CHURCH (Ecclesia) of God in Christ is "NO" longer important/ significant/essential/irrelevant for the process of SALVATION here on Earth, that we only need Christ Jesus alone to have Salvation... The Gospel of Matthew narrates that Christ Jesus asked the 11 Apostles to Go therefore, BAPTIZING (Water Baptism) them and make DISCIPLESHIP (not Apostleship) of all Nations "IN" the NAME of the Father (God), Son (Christ), and the Holy Spirit/Ghost." (ref. Matthew 28:18-20) Take Note #1, that the preposition " IN " was asking for a direction of a PLACE... and not the preposition "BY" the Name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. How do I know that the NAME of the Father, Son, and the Holy Spirit has a designated permanent PLACE (home, location, house address), spiritual and literal?... 2 Chronicles 7:16 (KJV/NKJV/NIV/ESV)... "For now I (God) have CHOSEN and SANCTIFIED this HOUSE (Church of God in Christ/Ecclesia), that My (God's) NAME be there FOREVER, and My (God's) EYES, and My (God's) HEART shall be there PERPETUALLY/ETERNALLY." All Christians must be BAPTIZED with Water for the remission of Sin "IN" the CHURCH and not outside the CHURCH of God in Christ or else the BAPTISM of the Holy Spirit and Fire from Christ Jesus will not come upon us, no matter what... in other words, BAPTISM outside the ECCLESIA is not accepted by God, logically according to the Bible... Take Note #2... Christ Jesus commanded His 11 Apostles to INITIATES and OFFICIATES the Water Baptism "IN" the CHURCH of God in Christ where the NAME of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit stays PERPETUALLY/ETERNALLY in the CHURCH... The 11 Apostles were the first members of the Church of God in Christ... regardless of whether some successors of the Apostles became rogue or corrupt... God will not allow anyone including Satan to remove the NAME of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit from the Chosen and Sanctified House (Ecclesia) which is the CHURCH of God (Ecclesia) founded and established by Christ Jesus nearly 2000 years ago just because some Chruch Leaders/Elders/Vicars/forefathers became Rogue or Corrupt... When Christ Jesus returns, all those who became Rogue and Corrupt in His CHURCH will be dealt with fairly and accordingly... Amen... Thanks, you for your time... I spent time writing this without any remuneration (financial gain) but out of love for my neighbors to share the Biblical TRUTH without compromise... the choice is still yours... Peace be with you all... Glory and Praise be to God in Christ Jesus... Amen and Amen...
Thanks for this I’ve been saying this for so long and to have you explain in such a way biblical make me know the more that I’m right. Looking for a study group in my area.
I loved this !! Would this include me and my wife , currently we have not found a small group but aren’t able to make it to the big box church , honestly we don’t agree with the big box church unbiblical take on things that are major for me and my wife. We talk to family members in the faith , discussing scriptures and holding each other accountable, would this suffice until God leads us somewhere else ?
Don't leave out elderly in nursing homes. I've seen faithful Christians have CHURCH and WORSHIP together with just a patient and nurse which makes two. This with maybe a recorded sermon can make a church with more influence than a Mega Church not preaching the gospel.
I do have a question for you after the first paragraph. I don't go to church. The only one I know of around me is a Catholic Church, and I do not drive, due to my eyesight (legally blind, not completely). I always tell people, "Not everyone who goes to church will see the kingdom of God, and not everyone who stays home will see eternal damnation". Many Christians treat "going to Church" as though it were one of the 10 Commandments, and yet it is not a sin unto death, or it would be one of the 10, would it not? I believe that the church is not a bunch of bricks, as well God's Word says the church will fall asleep, as we see happening today with so many doctrines, "comforting" mainstream christianity divides Gods Word as the Romans have divided His garments. I believe, wheresoever Christ is within you, that is where the True Church is, not in the Written Letter, for we are under Grace and not the Law. The Law was Written for the lawless. Christs death upon the Cross was the fulfillment of the Old Covenant, and that fulfillment was LOVE. It is Written, "Out of the abundance of the heart, the mouth speaks!", so what comes out of our mouth is a reflection of what is within our hearts. Many professing christians use profanity, and find nothing wrong with it. Many ordained ministers, ordained on "paper", and not by God, use profanity in the same breath their lips flatter God. I don't understand the Trinity, but I believe it, and God's Word says, "No one comes to the Father, except through Me". My question is... someone responded to me with the following statement, and I want to know how YOU would respond... You probably gather as well as myself, that we are fighting Roman Catholicism here, of whom are crafty in their twisting of God's Word: "C. Confession has nothing to do with the foundation of the Church, you don't simply confess to Christ then He would build it on you as that would mean there would be millions or even billions of Churches with different doctrines which is contrary to Scripture that says God is not an author of confusion in 1 Corinthians 14:33 D. Lying Testimonies are a true waste of time, i've got that conclusion from reading Alberto Rivera's ridicolous claims" My response to him is below this line, but it was not enough, so below that I shared a video... Confession is EVERYTHING! 1 John 1:9-10 (NKJV) 9 If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. 10 If we say that we have not sinned, we make Him a liar, and His word is not in us. John 3:5 (NKJV) 5 Jesus answered, “Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God. The Water is the Word, the Spirit is the Spirit of Truth that is the Holy Spirit. Proverbs 28:13 (NKJV) 13 He who covers his sins will not prosper, But whoever confesses and forsakes them will have mercy. Psalm 32:5 (NKJV) 5 I acknowledged my sin to You, And my iniquity I have not hidden. I said, “I will confess my transgressions to the Lord,” And You forgave the iniquity of my sin. Selah The Bible says to always be prepared to give an account of your faith to others. I can handle many Christian issues, but it takes a former Catholic to help a practicing Catholic, so having exhausted all of my current means, I posted a video hoping that another former Catholic would answer his questions. This is the video I shared -- Former Irish Priest of 22 years, Richard Bennett th-cam.com/video/wr7RQ7sITV8/w-d-xo.html
Salvation by grace through faith alone. I recently discovered this, and the freedom I feel makes me want to serve him more, and I do. Not perfect but not hung up on works anymore. Do them freely out of love now, not a sense of obligation.
Have you read church history? St. Anthony of Egypt, "the patriarch of the monks" according to Schaff, lived alone, away from other humans, for his entire adult life beyond 285 AD. Do you think he broke his covenant with God through Jesus by choosing to live alone? I sure don't. Of course it's difficult, and impossible for most. I've come to the realization that in scripture there are encouragements, and there are deal-breakers. Being a liar is a deal breaker. One cannot persist in lying and inherit the Kingdom of God, for example. But there are no commands that say that living alone, even in isolation, in and of itself is "sin." It can be difficult and dangerous, and I'm sure it was for St. Anthony of Egypt, but it's not a deal-breaker. (But still, great message BTW and way more balanced than you'll get from the pulpit. Preachers are continually using Hebrews 10 v25 as a "clobber verse" to guilt people into attending their church.)
It says in the Bible "those who isolate themselves are selfish". It's a quote that my Pastor referred to recently. It's not exactly a sin to be alone, it's just bad to stay away from people with no proper excuse.
@@staticchimera44 I could not locate the specific translation you quoted from (do you know?). Here is Wycliffe. "He that will go away from a friend, seeketh occasions, that is, feigneth causes, (or looketh for reasons); in all time he shall be despisable." So, here it is about a friend who doesn't want to be a friend anymore. A bit more nuanced and specific. This passage is all over the place across different translations. Some are more nuanced than just a person being selfish because they isolate themselves.
@@BasementBerean From the language, it looks like old English. Similar to different languages, there are phrases and slang words that aren't understood by other languages. I prefer to read the modern English quotes which talk more about a person being "unfriendly" or "isolated". What they are trying to say in that quote shouldn't be taken at face value so I deduce that it is probably saying "a person that goes away from people in general, will look for reasons to justify themselves", but that's just my perspective.
I love Christ. He is the center of my life but I’m SO introverted and anti-social 😢
I know how you feel
Me 2
Same
G-d is all of your life and in all of your life, whether you are alone or a social Bunny.
You are Jewish aren't you?😊@trevino37
It is getting harder to finder a church that actually follows scripture, false doctrine is everywhere. People say just overlook it, I say... if it isn't Biblical, it's just a social gathering.
exactly...it is a social gathering...from the time you first see the coffee and cookies in the foyer to the chit chat of anything other than what Jesus is doing in our lives...i'd rather be a part of a gathering that really does church like they did in Acts 2. A one hour service once a week that has a set agenda...doesn't cut it
Look up the church of Christ they use the Bible as their only guide.
I agree. Do you believe christians sin after being born again?
That is exactly how I feel. You can only take so much rejection.
I feel so sad, knowing that people whom you consideres holy at church are the worst bully.

@@VekaparuraHarakuta That is a lie you have been told....our salvation is on our faith and belief in Christ, not church attendance. Go repent
Exactly
Church is not a building... The church are the worldwide Christian believers who express community in different ways.
"Church" (with a capital "c") is the worldwide body of Christians. "church" (with a lower case "c") is a building where Christians worship.
Nice try but that's not a scriptural concept. The church can meet in any building. They can meet in a home, coffee shop, restaurant. The church building as we know it today is an invention of Constantine.

I understand how you feel, same thing happened to me. If your not part of the click your on the outside looking in. It's a big club.
@@charlotteselig6584 Thank you. I hope you'll find your church too. God bless.
The kingdom of God is within you, Amen 🙏

It's important to congregate which is why I attend meetings once a month, but that's it.

Amen 🙏 🙏 🙏
I feel a bit awkward (I'm a muslim)
May God bless you
I know what you mean by the 90% singing and 10% scripture.
Singing is the best way to express yourself it’s all around us it’s changes our emotions uni-verse
@@Birdie319 you don’t have to go. We worship in truth and in spirit. Heart and head.
AMEN ITS GOOD TO READ HIS WORD THROUGH THE HOLY SPIRIT AND PRAYER I HAVE DONE FAR BETTER NOT GOING TO A CHURCH BUILDING I DONT THINK I REMEMBER ANYONE OF THEM GIVING THE GOSPEL OUT TO PEOPLE
Well try going to church h cuz the church is his building and that's where you praise him with song
Preachers want people to come to their buildings called church and give them money to help run it but Bible says in Mark 16:15...And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.
Stay AWAY from preachers !
Which church is that?

I am a member of a large local church, but I rarely attend, especially during the covid-19 restrictions. I live somewhat like John the Baptist.
So you're a member of a social club they call church.
John the Baptist would NOT approve and neither would Jesus.
God is good
Very good teaching! Be the church wherever you are.
It's not so much I don't like church. I'm very introverted and socially awkward and have a hard time being around people in general
I left my church a few months back. I'll lie if I'll say I don't miss the people but I don't miss the teachings. I'm struggling to go back there or any other church. Your answer really helps me al lot to take in consideration. Thanks again.
I don't go. I dont trust the pastors to teach the bible . I stay home and read my bible and have never had so much peace
A building can't save you only the blood of Jesus.

God bless and keep worshiping you are so Loved. Not alone in that there are many.
Church and fellowship?
Is that all you carnal people talk about?
That's not the important stuff according to God's Word.
Did you ever find a church? @Deebs1973
Who cares what he said or what this person said.
Go by what GOD SAID !
God DISAPPROVES of church buildings and pastors as they operate today !
Satanic
I enjoy just gathering with Christian friends to encourage each other
Church is not the only place to be with fellow believers.
there will be more joy in heaven over one sinner who repents than over 99 respectable people who do not need to repent.
If I'm wrong, I pray for God to show me the truth.
or maybe they get tired of lies that arent in scripture like mandated church attendance
Like I tell people: “just because it’s different, doesn’t make it wrong.”
So the fact they don’t see you on Sunday-Saturday in a building alongside them, doesn’t necessarily mean you’re not with them, you’re just not with them during those timeframes in that manner.
Whenever I find a church , initially they look Biblically correct eventually they show true colours , and people over there are pretty nosy !!
The church challenging the emerging world empire, the Jews accepting Jesus as the messiah and both groups being murdered for their faith and much more
Saying not going to church keeps you from growing is WRONG.
I grow more by Not going.
It is better to go to church than to sleep
Yeah
It's definitely better to STAY AWAY from church buildings.
I believe Jesus will say to you "Depart from Me I never knew you..."
Read Matthew 25 and Heed HIS Instructions and Warnings !
It's Never a sin not to go to a church building.
It's a sin To Go
I was once asked to comment on the institution of the church in two areas. I have two responses here.
1.
THE CURRENT INSTITUTION MODEL
"The church is more than the sum of its parts, it's also structure, presentation and functionality. When the sum of its parts no longer come together as scripturally recorded in 2nd Corinthians chapter 14 (and other places recorded) then there is a problem.
A few things you don't see in New Testament scripture:
Denominationalism
The law of tithing
Prioritized building projects
The Greek theater style of worship
Full time paid positions
Rock concert style worship
The one man show that is the pastor with a spectator audience who is the congregation passively sitting in the sanctuary that is set up as a Greek theater.
The one and a 1/2 hour long service once a week.
Card carrying church memberships.
Allowing the government to dictate terms and conditions through which it would be ALLOWED to operate.
All those things mentioned above slowly crept into the church over time while the church was acquiescing to the culture of its day and the government of its time
"26 What then shall we say, brothers and sisters?
40 But everything should be done in a fitting and orderly way."
2 Corinthians 14: 26-33, 39-40
Just so you know that there's no bias on my part I'm not only a pastor I am ordained and have held a position in church leadership in the past and in all good conscience, will not do so again within the current church construct unless it changes.
2.
CEASARS AND THE CHURCH (from a Canadian legal perspective)
"So tell me if I'm wrong here but here's something that has been bothering me.
When churches applied for and registered as a charity, they invited Cesar to dictate the terms. Example:
CRA requires an application and an annual report.
It's not a burden, it's a blessing.
and we do not have to obey His commandments. We get to obey Him.
@@JOLLYROGE007 yes we do have to obey His Commandments.
He didn't make them absolete
Are you Catholic? If so,try to find a Latin Mass.
The problem for some is not really people, it may just be the theology and teachings of that specific church or thier conduct as a church that may be an issue for them, the Bible also warns to beware of false teachers and false prophets, others may have other unique situations like they themselves are called to be Pastors and begin thier own Church and ministry.
Thank you and Amen
All that bear false witness be gone in Jesus's name ,Amen
The body is the temple of God
I was watching this because in the future I want to move onto a self susstianing boat for my 30s and 40s so I can enjoy the outside
Churches are CONTRARY to what Jesus said.
No it’s not a sin but when you’re a visually impaired man like I am you’ll be appreciative of going to a church building several times a week least it gives me something to look forward to and grow spiritually God bless!
You can always go to another church if you feel uncomfortable but church is not close by. I only go to Orthodox so I pray at home but I love going and I can't wait till I move to Greece because the churches are right near us.

. Lots of disappointment and discouragement. I’m so sorry brothers and sisters. I feel your pain. We are believing in a move of God to bring us together in fellowship in our homes. Walking and living out the life we were meant to together.
Yes, meet in homes
People are the Church
If you're watching a Church sermon on TV at home you are in church
Thank you, this was very helpful!
John 16:13
No it's not it's a sin to disbelief in Jesus Christ
I belong to small Bible study group I love it. They encourage me to read the Bible and obey God’s words. Then why is it my family(mom, aunt…) thinks I’m not obeying God’s words by not going to church.
Cause they're DECEIVED.
Thanks for the enlightenment on that issue...Godbless
That opening joke did not go where I thought it was going..LOL
What about attending an online Church on Sundays?
Whether in person or on the internet. As long as you're sending that man money, that's all they really care about. I'm trying to figure it all out myself through prayer and reading Gods Word. I'm trying to be condemned or approved by the Holy Spirit.
Awesome video makes perfect sense
We are talking about SUNDAY ATTENDANCE not “ASSEMBLING” I go to bible study ever tueday but I don’t go
To church in the morning. According to this video that means. I’m good?
But where do you got to Bible Study?
I got a question why in Acts 17:24 says that God made Heaven and Earth and does not dwell in Temple buildings made by human hands🤔 and then in Ezekiel 16:31 it says you build your Pagan shrines on every street corner and your altars to idols in every squire, in fact you have been worse than prostitute so eager for sin that you have not even demanded payment! What does this mean it sounds to me like he's not in church buildings? Please help me with this😣
We are the church, the church is not supposed to be a building. He's in each and every one of us when we assemble, when we are together.
You will only find religion in church not a relationship
Your body is the body of Christ. Do not do anything to destroy the temple
People are the church (temple) Jesus is the foundation (I will build my house on s rock).
Thank you. I need that.
For me I’m comfortable with doing Bible study from home and I know god want us to love people but there’s judgy people in church or the church people that are stuck up.
I love this!
Thank you for sharing. Good message!
I can't find a good church
I find it better speaking to speak directly to Jesus. I feel better knowing I can't talk to him.
Matthew 28:18-20)
Take Note #1, that the preposition " IN " was asking for a direction of a PLACE... and not the preposition "BY" the Name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
How do I know that the NAME of the Father, Son, and the Holy Spirit has a designated permanent PLACE (home, location, house address), spiritual and literal?...
2 Chronicles 7:16 (KJV/NKJV/NIV/ESV)... "For now I (God) have CHOSEN and SANCTIFIED this HOUSE (Church of God in Christ/Ecclesia), that My (God's) NAME be there FOREVER, and My (God's) EYES, and My (God's) HEART shall be there PERPETUALLY/ETERNALLY."
All Christians must be BAPTIZED with Water for the remission of Sin "IN" the CHURCH and not outside the CHURCH of God in Christ or else the BAPTISM of the Holy Spirit and Fire from Christ Jesus will not come upon us, no matter what... in other words, BAPTISM outside the ECCLESIA is not accepted by God, logically according to the Bible...
You probably gather as well as myself, that we are fighting Roman Catholicism here, of whom are crafty in their twisting of God's Word:
"C. Confession has nothing to do with the foundation of the Church, you don't simply confess to Christ then He would build it on you as that would mean there would be millions or even billions of Churches with different doctrines which is contrary to Scripture that says God is not an author of confusion in 1 Corinthians 14:33
D. Lying Testimonies are a true waste of time, i've got that conclusion from reading Alberto Rivera's ridicolous claims"
My response to him is below this line, but it was not enough, so below that I shared a video...
Confession is EVERYTHING!
1 John 1:9-10 (NKJV)
9 If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. 10 If we say that we have not sinned, we make Him a liar, and His word is not in us.
John 3:5 (NKJV)
5 Jesus answered, “Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God.
The Water is the Word, the Spirit is the Spirit of Truth that is the Holy Spirit.
Proverbs 28:13 (NKJV)
13 He who covers his sins will not prosper,
But whoever confesses and forsakes them will have mercy.
Psalm 32:5 (NKJV)
5 I acknowledged my sin to You,
And my iniquity I have not hidden.
I said, “I will confess my transgressions to the Lord,”
And You forgave the iniquity of my sin. Selah
The Bible says to always be prepared to give an account of your faith to others. I can handle many Christian issues, but it takes a former Catholic to help a practicing Catholic, so having exhausted all of my current means, I posted a video hoping that another former Catholic would answer his questions.
This is the video I shared -- Former Irish Priest of 22 years, Richard Bennett

Dear Harold Christian radio is a really good way to connect with other Christians UCB 1 AND2.
Harold, confess your sins to Jesus, not a pedophile. You have only one Father and that's your Father in heaven.
This helps me a lot.
Stop trying to be right with God by doing, trust in the blood atonement then Holy Spirit will lead you
Salvation by grace through faith alone.
@@staticchimera44 Hi Static. If this is a quote, where is it found? (Looks like The Message to me.)
@@BasementBerean Proverbs 18:1
I'm an introvert, I don't like being social or being around groups. No church for me.
