- Join two of the best broadcasters in the business in a rare 92Y Talk.
Radio and talk show mogul Larry King has been married eight times, fired and incarcerated; he survived a quintuple bypass surgery; and he’s gone public with his desire to be cryonically preserved after death.
He has interviewed everyone from Marlon Brando, Snoop Dog and Lady Gaga to O. J. Simpson and Ross Perot ― and now he’s the one being interviewed on the 92Y stage by his longtime friend and fellow broadcasting legend Regis Philbin.
Philbin holds the Guinness World Records for the most time spent in front of a television camera and is most widely known as the former host of Live! With Regis and Kathie Lee and Live! With Regis and Kelly, and as the original host of the US version of Who Wants to Be a Millionaire.
Larry and Regis talk marriage, politics, sports, entertainment, the justice system, America’s future and living a successful life to the fullest.

Rest In Paradise Regis. Your legacy on television WILL live forever.
larry king must have god doctors to get him to out live regis
@@bradleysmall2230Larry died about a year later. He was actually younger than Regis.
Wow. I could listen to Larry King tell stories all night.
Such fun watching these great conversationalists talking about this and that.
The way Larry looks at Regis at 8:45, he is so flattered that a legend like Regis knows his background so well, he’s got so much respect for Regis and Regis is bigger than anyone alive at the moment in broadcast history, next to dave letterman.
Regis cant believe he's gone I hate 2020🥺💔 just one thing after another chaos and death left & right
yeah things go from bad to worse...
@E W I know people die everyday so your not telling us anything we don't already know. "New flash people die everyday." You comment came across as rude and unprovoked if you can't offer your condolences to Regis and celebration of his life along with his accomplishments than you can offer your silence.
There already to much negative going on in the world already. Regis I have a great deal of respect for him he has been on the air for years on everyone's tv he just feel like he is a part of everyone's family. Regis " Positive personality was infectious to know him was love him. "According to his friends, family and fans my heart goes out for his whole family.
It’s inevitable, life and then death. That’s why I try not to take people For granted!Life’s too. short!!!! Tina from Ks.
@@tinaohlrogge4685 Agreed💗
I love Larry King and Regis Philbin I could listen to them talk all day.
These gentlemen make an hour long thoughtful, interesting conversation in their eighties. Sharp!
scratch that off the bucket list. God bless them both.
Love hearing their stories about the good ole days.
Me too! Now, I'm entering a time in life where I'm looking back at ' the good ole days'!! Oooooooh!
@@Melinda8162 we have enough experience to see when things were so much better.
That was so good. There’s only one Regis and Larry King. Fantastic RIP Regis you will be missed. Now you can sing Bing & Frank.
I love both of them.
Rest in Peace Regis
Two incredible broadcasters who did it all. What an amazing conversation!
Regis is so Cool!! Always was.
Oh Larry, I am missing you.
Such class acts...the both of them....what do we have to listen to these days???
Be happy if you were alive to see these two men while they were here too. Wonderful souls.
Regis is a good storyteller.
Thanks so much publishing this show, I really enjoy. Both are so quite and great.
July 24, 2020 Regis Philbin passed away one month before his 89th birthday, which would be Aug 25, 2020. RIP Regis, there will be no one with your longevity in TV.
What a great interview!
Rip Regis. 2020 please leave Larry King ALONE 🥺😭
2020 did but not 2021 😢
15:01 .... "i was walking down to mandella's house for lunch" said in such a casual way...
I live in India now, but was in USA in the late 80s. I can journey with these legends. Great men. Peace!
God Bless Regis!!!
Ive watched a lot of youtube but this is one of the best....two classics....rip❤️❤️

R.I.P. to two of the best to ever do it. Regis and Larry.
Is Larry King still alive ? Two great men!
Larry is a great storyteller. What a sharp memory. He’s the best. Years ago I listened to an audiobook written/read by Larry King. When You’re from Brooklyn, Everything Else is Tokyo. It’s great.
Rip Larry King love ya 🕊🙏🏾🐐❤️
R.I.P. 🕊 Larry and Regis 🕊
RIP Regis
At the time of this interview, Larry was 82 and Regis was 84. Larry King: 11-9-1933 - 1-23-2021 (87) Regis Philbin: 8-25-1931 - 7-24-2020 (88)
RIP REGIS
Rip to both 🐐 🐐🙏🏾🙏🏾❤️❤️
PS: (RIP) TO THE LATE REGIS PHILBIN & THE LATE LARRY KING, TWO TV/RADIO LEGENDS & WE WILL NOT SEE THEIR LIKE AGAIN. THE LATE MR.KING WAS A VERY GOOD INTERVIEWER& MANY YOUNG RADIO HOSTS TODAY COULD TAKE LESSONS FROM HIM.
@34 This was a great duet from the two of them, but I have to say I prefer Dean Martin’s version of this song; Every time it rains, it rains/bourbon from heaven!”🥃😉😂
Rip to both
These two are amazing together
Regis still looks good .
Legends
We care because you have integrity.
There is a lot of garbage out there today.
Goats!
Both are gone now. RIP
Sadly both have passed this year
To:Miriam I enjoyed these two. old friends remeninin Icing!! I’m like that with. my family and friends. Tina from Ks.
Larry King Was Just About To
Talk About Jackie Gleason
But Regis Interrupts And Says
Don Rickles
At what point did he ask him if he ever had heart surgery? Great stories anyway.
Dialogues, laughs and even singing like these two, are sadly diminishing. With the investigation of iPhones etc. no one talks anymore.
I vaguely remember the Joey Bishop show with Regis as his sidekick. I didn't like Regis at that time because he came across as a total "suck-up." . Regis did eventually find his footing but, for me, Larry was the best. RIP to both men.
RIP to two legends
Reg forgot his Just for Men this night
Doris and Mabel together again.
They are no longer with us...
i believe foxhole humor is the humor from somebody who isn't afraid to laugh when facing death. that could be gallows humor. or maybe it's the same thing. i'll check.
"I didn't go to collage. You did. But I remember my heart attack" :-) King rocks! He is witty, sharp and still fun to listen to. Regis ... nope
Can someone please tell me what Larry says before the word humour at 21.30 ? It’s funny now but not in the past.
Hate al those commercials
The American way, you have money you get great health care..VIP
Regis butchered the Don Rickles story he retold. Nice try though lol
God is good to all of us so that we would respond to His grace, mercy, and love,by loving Him in return, there is security in unconditional love, "perfect love casts out fear".....the Bible.
:-)
Before Larry king didn’t know that he is. Going to die today 😈💀
Hi Larry, you mentioned the tremendous good fortune you've had,it was all a gift from God,the Judeo -Christian God,Jesus Christ, thank Him and ask Him to save your soul.
"...a gift from God,the Judeo -Christian God" as opposed to all the other gods?
@@clairekessler626 Exactly the other ‘gods’ are false. People are inadvertently worshipping Satan & demons when they worship any of these other ‘gods’ (that do actually posses some supernatural power). Jesus is the only way to the one and only true God.
⁹
OMG. I'm so sorry Larry. I hate you have covid. If you get well- wonderful. I think you may be blessed to leave this shit-show.
Two dead people.
your last name "Cohen"is from the tribe of high priest's that carried the sacrificial blood into the holy of holies for the forgiveness of sin,and Jesus blood was shed for your sin,but if you don't believe this, when you die you will pay for your sins....for eternity.
Using your own logic, why would god give "tremendous good fortune" to a unrepentant sinner?
Also, couldn't Larry pay for his sins in cash or check?
Jesus paid for them in HIS blood,if you CHOOSE not to believe you will pay for your sins with your blood.
Why is Larry king still in tv when he's dead,?
Larry looks older lol but they both look like they're ready for wheelchairs 😅😅😅
RIP Regis
