    Hello from Kansas. I enjoyed this video. I will definitely be picking up some of the Lattafa fragrances next month. I started collecting a few months ago, and after exploring, I have found that I really like the sweet spicy and dark scents, so that is what lead me to start looking at oud and middle eastern fragrances in general. Also, on a completely unrelated note, you have a beautiful voice.

I recommend you Nabeel Shahrezad, Al Haramain Portfolio Imperial Oud, Nabeel Dahn Al Oud, Khalis Oud Gold, Khalis Black Oud. Hi L.! I finally bought Oud Mood, from Lattafa. It's a very interesting fragance. I liked it a lot. On my skin stayed for 6 hours, after that I could still feel some oud in the dry down but very rent on the skin. To me, Oud Mood has the same DNA of Safeer Al Oud. Not the same, just similar base. If you like Safeer al Oud, you will probably like Oud Mood. 😉 I really love the fragance. To me is very strong, sweet and sensual if compared to western perfume. More female, in my opinion. Thanks a lot for the great tip! 🌹😊 (Now I'm addicted to middle eastern fragance! 💗)

      Hey Tamara!💗 I am so happy to know you enjoy it so much! It's a great scent indeed, I like it especially for the incense note (I love incense in my fragrances).
      From what other people have told me here on TH-cam this one used to last even more on the skin before it was reformulated. But even if it doesn't last as long now, it's still a gorgeous scent! I'm glad to know you're middle eastern fragrance collection is growing!! 😍 Kisses and take care 🤗

    a very affordable, animalic oud I have is 24 Carat Pure Gold by Lattafa. It is very violent and potent, lasts a long time and projects very well. Love your videos , and you’re so gorgeous , your hair is beautiful.
    My most recent Lataffa blind buys were Ejazzi and Royal Blends.
    When I got them in the mail I have to say … I was disappointed, especially w Ejazzi. Just smells straight up like a cheap men’s cologne 🤷🏼‍♀️ Nothing special about.
    Royal blends was more unique but didn’t blow my mind at all.
    What do u think of those two?
    After watching your video my next two will be your #2 and #4 listed here - they sound right up my alley.
    Love incense, love woody, love sweet strong churchy scents .
    I have Raghba which I LOVE, and Wood Intense l, I actually love that one a lot.
    Ameer intense Oud was ok, not a dupe for by the fireplace tho at all.
    Abiyedh rouge was ok too, but I want a beast.
    I have Oud for glory coming soon - really hope I love that one 🤞🏻

      Thank you dear! ❤🤗 I never tried Ejazzi but I enjoy Khaltaat al Arabia Royal Blends, not my go to fragrance ( I like heavier more opulent scents) but it's very good for layering. If you are looking to add some incensy middle eastern smelling fragrances to your collection I would highly advise you to try Majd al Sultan by Asdaaf and Oud Aswad by Swiss Arabian, powerfull and unique ❤ Look them up and see if they vibe with you, these two are some of my favourite ones

    i got both Al Sultan and Raghba Wood Intense just recently.
    RWI is very strong and AS is very light (on my skin at least)..
    So I layer them. Like 8 sprays of AS and about 3 of RWI. and I am nice and smokey all day.
    Raghba has a sweetness that I really love and has become my everyday scent this past week.

    • @AFragrantGlance
      @AFragrantGlance  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi dear, thank you for watching! ❤️ Yes, it has a sweetness to it, but the oud in the opening it's very pungent. I would say it's more challenging than Sheikh al Shuyukh and Shaghaf Oud. With this one it all depends on how it smells on your skin, on mine it doesn't smell good, but on my partner's skin it develops into a beautiful rich dark smoky oudy caramel fragrance with floral hints. Let me know how you feel about this one if you decide to get it 🎉

      I hope you're enjoying your new fragrance ❤🤗 The projection of a fragrance depends on many factors. On one hand climate (very hot / very cold places can chance the nuances in fragrances and how they perform), how/ where/ how many sprays people use, and the overall quality of the scent and the oil concentration, all these affect the projection and the performance of fragrances

      Happy to hear you trust my opinion when it comes to fragrances 🤗Unfortunately I have not tried Oud Satin (by Ministry of Oud / Paris Corner - I think this is the one you talk about) but another fragrance lover under one of my videos recommended me to try this one, saying that it's similar to a fragrance I own and love - Nina Ricci L'Extase Rose Absolue, so if they're similar then yes, the rose is sweet. I have smelled Oud Satin Mood by MFK, the fragrance Oud Satin is supposed to dupe, and it's definitely brighter and sweeter than Oud for Glory, it's an interesting mix between benzoin - sweet rose - oud like touches & some powdery nuances. I noted your recommendations, if I come by these fragrances I will check them out. Thank you for watching! ❤️

    • @AFragrantGlance
      @AFragrantGlance  3 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Oud Mood is more incense based, Shaghaf Oud is more oudy based and Sheikh al Shuyukh Luxe is ambery based. Sheikh al Shuyukh is a gorgeous warm, spicy, sweet rose with ambery - woody accords. It's less sweet than Shaghaf Oud and darker than Oud Mood. It's different enough to have it in your collection if you are interested in it, but look for older batches if you can cause the lasting power was better. I love of three of them but my partener hates Sheikh al Shuyukh and when I wear any one of them he always thinks I wear Sheikh al Shuyukh, so I guess it depends how trained ur nose is in fragrances, to me all three of them are different 🤗

      Glad to hear you enjoy it! 🥳 When you said oudy floral fresh I thought of Marj by Ahmed al Maghribi, this one is a love or hate type of scent, however if it's your cup of tea then it's a show stopper, very opulent and statement fragrance. (I have a review for it). If you enjoy a sweet oud then Noir d'Arabie by Paris Corner (Arabians Tonka inspirations - sugary spicy sweet & oudy) & Shaghaf Oud (praline accord with rose and oud) are beautiful options. In general Ahmed al Maghribi has beautiful ouds for amazing prices, if you have a store near you I'd highly recommend you to test them). Khair by Paris Corner & Eba Gold are beautiful oud forward scents as well, similar profile to Marj but they have their differences as well. If you enjoy rose & oud then Badiah Gold by Junaid Perfumes (earthy deep rose with oud). These were the first ones that came to my mind. ✨

      I really like Lattafa fragrances as well ❤ Look up and see if your mother would like any of these: Musk Salama (clean fresh woody fragrance), Rouat al Musk (a bit citrusy a bit powdery a bit fruity) , Reve Gold (warm sweet white florals) or Reve Rose (Light flowery scent), Yaqeen by Asdaaf (soft tuberose with slight fruity notes, white musk and vanilla).
      These ones don't have that middle eastern DNA, they're more like western scents, they're very soft and feminine and not too cloying for the humidity of Philippines. Thanks for subscribing and take care 🤗

      Rouat al Oud by Lattafa it's a great one for the summer, is has a fresh citrusy vibe with some woody notes in the background, the oud is very mild, it's a summer take on oud. Smells very masculine and very good. Look it up and see if it vibes with you. It's not a basic summer scent, it has charachter to it. 😊

I have tried some fragrances by ard al zaafaran, and to be honest some are pretty good and some are disappointing (for example bint hooran have changed their olfactory description, so I do not know what olfactory description is the good one🤔).. plus I think honestly that the lasting power of ard al zaffaran perfumes is not as good as what I was expected...

      Another one that I would recommend you to try is Majd al Sultan by Asdaaf, a gorgeous sweet woody incensy fragrance with smoky accords, this one is perfect for layering and for wearing it on it's own. So far a lot of people from my circle who are not into middle eastern fragrances appreciate this one a lot, also people from youtube bought it and came back with great feedback!
