I get the shi**y oud smell with Badee Al Oud Amethyst, it's so strong on skin... so much so that I went searching and found out that it's a legitimate note. To me, I feel like Oud Fazza projects more and lasts longer than the luxe edition. I have been trying to find a review of Oud Fazza, but I cannot find even one video on TH-cam 😭 I really want to know if I am crazy, or they smell similar.

Wonderful video! 👍 I have at least 8 different Oud and Rose / Amber fragrances including Oud Touch by Franck Olivier. I had an earlier bottle. Opening is massive, strong in your face and rather skanky. Takes a few wearing to get accustom and appreciate it. Projects heavily for at least 3 hours with massive sillage. It smells very similar to CD Oud Ispahan which I had a small decant. CDOI obviously is much better in quality but also more skanky than Oud Touch. Try to get a older bottle of Oud Touch if you like CD Oud Ispahan.

Awesome video. 🎉 I remember the first oud fragrance that I smelled was Black Aoud by Montale. At first I did not know what to think of it and after a while I got used to it and I think it was pretty damn good oud and rose combo. I had a small 3ml sample of it. 😅

I love Dark Aoud from Montale, its just two notes Oud and Sandalwood. The oud is definitely medicinal though but I really like it, like one of those strange smells you have to keep going back to.
I feel like medicinal oud in mixes that don't have rose is better, still not my favourite but they're better cause I don't asociate them with cleaning products or air refreshing products 😂 I haven't tried that one from Montale but I enjoy very much the note of sandalwood in fragrances ❤ Thank you for watching!

If you like smoke incense oud combo, try Khulasat al Oud by Al Haramain. It's sophistication in a bottle. It is present without being offensive but overall very luxurious smelling.
Please do a part two of this video I can now say that i am drawn to the barnyard oud. This is because I like oud touch and I always want more and maybe something stronger than oud touch. I got introduced to oud in 2008 and never looked back since. So my nose has matured overtime. My first love with oud was from the house of Al haramain

Recently I bought a Shagaf Oud blind. I've heard so much about him and read so much that I finally decided that I must have him. Unfortunately, the graphic design was changed - the water had to undergo reformulation (I have a bottle from 6.2021), because there is no trace of a killer and sweets, etc. Durability and projection - none. Delicate body mist with the scent of Oud and chocolates. I can only smell it when I put my nose to my wrist.
Oh what a shame, so sorry to hear that dear!! That fragrance was so strong, it must have been reformulated, does it still have the arabic writing on the bottle or is it the new one without the arabic writing?

Just purchased Oud Aswad after you said it was your signature. You should try Rose Gold Oudh from Tiziana Terenzi. I think you’ll find it very interesting complex and beautiful (more than designer rose-ouds). The rose note is the best rose I’ve ever smelt, from fresh or perfume roses. And it’s super projecting but not overwhelming. That’s my signature right now haha. Also you look like my twin/doppelgänger lmaoo. We even have a beauty mark in the same place it’s so strange. Hi dear 🤗, l really need your advice, l have been into middle Eastern perfume kick right now, so far l have bought : shaghaff oud, Sheikh Al shuyuh and oud mood by lataffa. I was thinking of buying shaghaff oud aswad next...or something rose - oud- sweet perfume. Could you recommend something, please? Hi dear 🤗 If you enjoy a sweet red rose mixed with oud and incense I think Oud Aswad is an amazingg amazing option, you could even layer it with Shaghaf Oud, those two together are a match made in heaven 😍 Two others that I would highly recommend you to look them up are Bidun Esam by Ahmed al Maghribi (luxurious royal smelling rose oud combo, the oud smells very realistic) and Areej al Sheila by Swiss Arabian (but this one only if you enjoy spices, rose, geranium, oud and leather as well, cause this is the kind of fragrance that keeps changing, not the sweetest in the opening but as it dries down it gets sweeter, but this one I wouldn't recommend as a blind buy, the other two I would cause if you love rose and oud I think you'll love those). Let me know your thoughts on any of these if you decide to try it ❤️
I am thinking of getting Laatafa Badee Al Oud Amethyst and already own gold Shanghaf Oud and also Armaf Club de unit intense in black bottle. Is Laatafa Amethyst close in smell to either of them or different?

Any tips on getting perfumes from countries with limited shipping? Ordering from the stores would be 50% cheaper (and more reliable) than getting it off eBay, but the stores only ship Saudi Arabia and the surrounding countries like Oman and Bahrain.
Thank you for watching dear 🌹❤ No, to my nose they're very different, Oud Satin Mood is much more easy to enjoy than Promise Me Intense, OSM is more of a violet benzoin rosy scent with some oud while Promise Me Intense is more of a mature rose with a very interesting and different tropical cold fruity undertone that's also a bit aquatic, with oud in the background🌠
No real oud, but it has slight oudy nuances, it's smooth and very easy to enjoy ❤ Great fragrance for those who want to start with middle eastern fragrances
No reformulation of Oud touch,it's just a myth in fragrance community..it's very common treat the older batches like kings just to amp up the black market price,oud touch was and is balanced and please do not fall in reformulation trap..it happens but only in some serious perfume making companies not in companies like Franck Olivier..no reformulation here
I low-key wished it was reformulated cause everybody said what a beast mode of a fragrance it was and I was really expecting to get a beast mode scent 😂🤷🏻♀️But thank you for letting me know, I appreciate it 🌟
Ahaha I promise that is the undertone of the scent 😂😂 But on a good note I find it very similar to Oud Palao by Diptique, same undertone but that one has a camphor nuance as well

Ahahaha yes!!! 😂🤣 I've smelled that one in a parfumery and I have to say the oud leather combo there smells so so funky. It gives me putrid/ dead vibes to the max. Can't imagine how one could pull off a scent like that but I have to say it's very unique 😅

i love santal royal on my skin is like a dirty rose with woody oud bit animalic but not in a fecal or barnyard way i think i feel like that because of the leather

Mauboussin is a very sweet ambery fragrance it is sweetness like ysl Libre intense . Sometimes I get little bit oud .

Recently I bought a Shagaf Oud blind. I've heard so much about him and read so much that I finally decided that I must have him. Unfortunately, the graphic design was changed - the water had to undergo reformulation (I have a bottle from 6.2021), because there is no trace of a killer and sweets, etc. Durability and projection - none. Delicate body mist with the scent of Oud and chocolates. I can only smell it when I put my nose to my wrist.
Oh what a shame, so sorry to hear that dear!! That fragrance was so strong, it must have been reformulated, does it still have the arabic writing on the bottle or is it the new one without the arabic writing?
@@AFragrantGlance Hi. Unfortunately, without Arabic signs, but I wasn't aware of it when I was buying. I have to try Inara Oud by Swiss Arabian because it's a very similar fragrance and Oud Vanille by Frank Olivier.
Just purchased Oud Aswad after you said it was your signature. You should try Rose Gold Oudh from Tiziana Terenzi. I think you’ll find it very interesting complex and beautiful (more than designer rose-ouds). The rose note is the best rose I’ve ever smelt, from fresh or perfume roses. And it’s super projecting but not overwhelming. That’s my signature right now haha.

I tried Ajmal Rose wood on tester paper and was not that impressed, I liked the Ajmal Amber musk...but maybe I’ll give it another chance. Can you do a review on your best blind buys?

Have you tried Oud & Rose by S.T. Dupont ? (French brand from Paris), I recently got it and I quite like it.
I've seen them on different fragrance sites but I never tried any of their fragrances. But Perfect Tobacco and Vanilla & Leather cought my eye, the notes sound amazingg ❤

Thank you so much dear! ❤️ I use L'Oreal Casting Creme Gloss in the shade 100 (the darkest jet black) or sometimes 200 (still black but more natural), I had amazing experience with L'Oreal hair dyes and would highly recommend them

It's around 10 euro, it's very affordable🌠

Hi dear 🤗, l really need your advice, l have been into middle Eastern perfume kick right now, so far l have bought : shaghaff oud, Sheikh Al shuyuh and oud mood by lataffa. I was thinking of buying shaghaff oud aswad next...or something rose - oud- sweet perfume. Could you recommend something, please? Let me just add that to me shaghaff oud is not a strong oudy perfume at all, l still like it a lot, but l wish it to be more stronger and more incensy as well. Thank you💕
Hi dear 🤗 If you enjoy a sweet red rose mixed with oud and incense I think Oud Aswad is an amazingg amazing option, you could even layer it with Shaghaf Oud, those two together are a match made in heaven 😍 Two others that I would highly recommend you to look them up are Bidun Esam by Ahmed al Maghribi (luxurious royal smelling rose oud combo, the oud smells very realistic) and Areej al Sheila by Swiss Arabian (but this one only if you enjoy spices, rose, geranium, oud and leather as well, cause this is the kind of fragrance that keeps changing, not the sweetest in the opening but as it dries down it gets sweeter, but this one I wouldn't recommend as a blind buy, the other two I would cause if you love rose and oud I think you'll love those). Let me know your thoughts on any of these if you decide to try it ❤️
I am thinking of getting Laatafa Badee Al Oud Amethyst and already own gold Shanghaf Oud and also Armaf Club de unit intense in black bottle. Is Laatafa Amethyst close in smell to either of them or different?
Hi, I haven't tried Bade'e al Oud Amethyst so I don't know how it would compare to the other two mentioned, but my guess is that they don't smell alike at all ❤
Any tips on getting perfumes from countries with limited shipping? Ordering from the stores would be 50% cheaper (and more reliable) than getting it off eBay, but the stores only ship Saudi Arabia and the surrounding countries like Oman and Bahrain.

Thank you for watching dear 🌹❤ No, to my nose they're very different, Oud Satin Mood is much more easy to enjoy than Promise Me Intense, OSM is more of a violet benzoin rosy scent with some oud while Promise Me Intense is more of a mature rose with a very interesting and different tropical cold fruity undertone that's also a bit aquatic, with oud in the background🌠

No real oud, but it has slight oudy nuances, it's smooth and very easy to enjoy ❤ Great fragrance for those who want to start with middle eastern fragrances

No reformulation of Oud touch,it's just a myth in fragrance community..it's very common treat the older batches like kings just to amp up the black market price,oud touch was and is balanced and please do not fall in reformulation trap..it happens but only in some serious perfume making companies not in companies like Franck Olivier..no reformulation here
I low-key wished it was reformulated cause everybody said what a beast mode of a fragrance it was and I was really expecting to get a beast mode scent 😂🤷🏻♀️But thank you for letting me know, I appreciate it 🌟

Ahaha I promise that is the undertone of the scent 😂😂 But on a good note I find it very similar to Oud Palao by Diptique, same undertone but that one has a camphor nuance as well

Thank you for educating us on different types of oudh. Can you please do part 2 with pungent and animalic rose oud combo fragrances as examples, please? Perfumer reviewers have described Louis Vuitton "Les sable rose and Ombre Nomade" as animalic oud and it smells amazing!

If you think Oud Touch is a shitty oud, wait until you try Aoud Cuir d'Arabie. Smells like a public bathroom after someone took an especially putrid shit in there and didn't flush afterward
Ahahaha yes!!! 😂🤣 I've smelled that one in a parfumery and I have to say the oud leather combo there smells so so funky. It gives me putrid/ dead vibes to the max. Can't imagine how one could pull off a scent like that but I have to say it's very unique 😅

To me swiss arabian oud aswad is a really bad Medical oud, the same goes for black oud by montale

i love santal royal on my skin is like a dirty rose with woody oud bit animalic but not in a fecal or barnyard way i think i feel like that because of the leather
