Some of these vehicles are very similar so I want to say 50/50 chance
I changed mines and now my car won’t start. 1995 grand marquis
I see the bottom of the shroud broke, it’s easier to use a dent puller to remove ignition no need to remove shroud

My ignition stuck on the on position key won’t come out or go back to shut off position. Any ideas?
That happen to me, that’s how i knew my ignition was going out. Just mess with it, i sprayed WD-40 and it worked for a while until eventually ahuevo, i had to change the part.
I took it out and read it key I cut didn't work what I'm I doing wrong
