The level and power of those things differ accordingly... here we are speaking about words of God...Quran is way in higher level compared to all other books claiming to be from God...putting in mind exceptions always exist...some people get excited and touched by even to nasty ugly words...

The Qur'an simply has no match, even if you don't understand the wordings, it still touches you, it touches the hardest heart
In this case, what touches your heart is the sound being made, not the truth or otherwise. Anyone can make a melodious sound, you can too - but that does not mean that what you are hearing is the truth.

@@skrijeljmirzet4378 No, some of us have actually read it. It is chaotic in its wordings. There are many fables, impossibilities, and inaccurate recounting/understanding of events. Anyone who bothers to read it rather than romanticizing it will come to realize that. Melodious recitations do not mean something is true.

there is a verse in the Quran that says, "Oh Mohammed, we narrate unto three the bests of the narratives" which is explained as the narration that converses with the soul, unlike other narratives. That is what make the recitation of the Quran so profound

True witness i was passing through Bakwata Hq Kinondoni in Daresalaam and heard quran recitations. Very wonderful i stood aimlessly listening and tears were flowing for the first time i realized quran is truly words of the creator of earth and heaven.

I'm happy that our Muslim brethren are excited with the recitation of the holy Quran. You have grown with it hence it makes sense to you & has effect on you. However to a non-Muslim, it won't make much sense except for someone who understands Arabic language.
In Christianity, it is not about recitation of the Holy book, there are some books that are recited like the Quran, we call it "Chant". Psalms are chanted, but other books are read or recited.
The two religion have their different parts.
Apart from the Psalms, gospel singers recite certain books in the form of song & hymns.
I also want to tell you that it moves true Christians to tears.
The word of God is pure & true, ministering to the soul of man.
I kept reciting a portion of the Holy Bible which was arranged like song all through today & it greatly ministered to me- It says "Do not fear....., It is in a native Yoruba tongue... E ma se beru,...

Read the whole English translation with explanation you will find a lot of love of Allah and I hope you will love to worship Him. I read a Swahili translation, my mother tongue, and I benefitted just alot next I studied Arabic. Now I am reading it in Arabic

The book of Psalms is a book of songs. There are many spiritual songs and hymns that bring emotion into a worship service. Reciting scripture from the Quran in song helps to reach the emotions bypassing critical thought. The Bible must be studied and studied in order to begin to comprehend what God has said. Songs are for worship but study is to understand what is being said. If you worship in song but have no understanding of what is being sung is it true worship? How can that be? True worship comes from knowing and understanding what you hear or say, and sing.

The Bible is not meant to be sung like the Quran. Why should it? It was inspired by God's spirit and given to different prophets over several centuries. There's no instruction that we Christians sing the Bible. At least not the way Muslims are instructed to do the Quran. I wonder y Christians who try to copy Islam in learning more scriptures feel they need to do so. The power thereof is in studying and meditating on it day and night like Joshua 1:7-8 admonishes. The scriptures have inspired thousands of songs, the Bible has created a genre of music today. Gospel music. I need to read my Bible, understand it and meditate on it. There's a huge difference there and I wouldn't have it any other way.
