It is always fun to watch France vs Italy. As if Im watching a Final round or Italian Superliga. The same is true when Japan and Iran is playing. Or Brazil vs Italy. Or U.S.A vs Russia.
What is good for France is that young players played like Seddik (1st time with A team) and Faure. Also changing setters Toniutti with lot of tricks, and Brizard with strong serve and blocks.
France struggled so much to renew this "golden generation" It's great to see new players We'll see about Faure in the future, but man, Seddik will be a world-class player for sure
Finally got a chance to watch the full match. Clevanot stepped up and filled the missing spot of Ngapeth in one of their toughest matches so far. If he consistently plays at his best, he is one of the best in the world. Hope his finger is alright and he's in good health, same goes for the rest of the team (that has been dealing with a lot of injuries recently).

Noi, un pauroso calo di attenzione e tanti regali ed errori, specie in fase di avvio: il loro top scorer Clevenot ha segnato la metà dei suoi punti nel set1, l'altra metà in 4 set, per dire..oggi è mancata la diagonale, ma in realtà un po' tutti. Michieletto (da fuoriclasse) chiude sempre con tanti punti ma pure lui, nel tie-break, ciao! Mi tengo i soliti muroni e la buona volontà di Bovolenta(be' anche Russo e Galassi son sempre là, eh!). Parola d'ordine è: reagire subito!!!

Hoping Italy can find a consistent and reliable opposite because they already have it. From libero, to OH, to setter and to MBs. Opposite is the weakest link in the line up i think!
