Dogs are animals with a short life span compared to humans. Dogs may one day leave us before their owners, but they love us dearly. Their love for their owners is never wavering. Even famous biologists can't tell the truth about what dogs are thinking. But dogs love us more than they love themselves. This is a valuable lesson that dogs can teach us in our life with them.🐕🐕🐕🐕🐕🐕🐕🐕

So ture and just look how some people treat them ,people have high energy dogs because they look pretty then lick them in a cage to prevent them ripping up their house, dogs have many needs they are a pack animal they live company they need simulation , vets are seeing so many dogs now with mental health issues ,behaviour issues , health issues a dogs life span is going down fast Think very carefully before having a dog and think carefully about the breed type, dogs are absolutely amazing it's really sad to see the dog shelters filling up again because people just don't think

Using the comparison of the ice cream truck music as positive association as well as taking a picture for exact timing are great ‘real world’ examples that help the bipeds truly ‘get it’. Well put! Definitely with you on those shaming videos! 😡

Thanks for a great explanation of positive reinforcement. We train this way but have trouble explaining to others that don't see it the same way and this helped!

In south africa (more espsecially the rual areas) we don't know what positive renforcement is, if dog do bad you either hit, shout or slit throat (the slit throat part happens in in very rual areas like kzn for example) i feel that in south africa dogs will never be treated properly. so ill just focus on my dog
    notice:
in more modern areas of south africa people only shout and hit but in rual areas like kzn dogs are tread MUCH worse then in the modern areas

Oh my... we hate hearing that :( We hope you're able to take the tips in this video of positive reinforcement and not only use it with your own dog, but tell other dog owners as well.

Our boxer gets into trouble if we leave him by himself for an hour or more...We have tried a Kennel, but he gets extremely worked up if put in one, will nearly tear the door off, and gets so worked up he soaks his kennel pad with saliva from drooling! what would you recommend?

Using a crate is an essential part of raising and training a puppy. When used correctly with the proper training, crates are like cribs or playpens for babies and toddlers. They are used to keep your pup safe and out of trouble. Crates are the safest place for your puppy when you are away from home. Crates are never used as punishment but are a good place to encourage rest if your puppy is overtired and showing some behaviors that you find challenging.
We have many videos on the TH-cam channel all about crate training. This is the most recent one that will give you the top advice. From there you can keep watching all the others! For more in-depth support on crate training, consider enrolling in the online course for additional lessons on troubleshooting create training.

He might be getting some accidental reinforcement for behaving in a way that you don't want. It happens to everyone! Have you seen this video? th-cam.com/video/FbS1vXZBGPM/w-d-xo.html
