1 & 2 Kings: The Bible Explained

- Watch our Introduction video on the books of 1 & 2 Kings, which outlines the books' main theme and how it is fulfilled in Jesus.
1 & 2 Kings form one book on Israel's history. But more importantly, they tell a story about death and life. In Kings, everything Israel hoped in as a nation fails them. The kings, the temple, the law, and the prophets are all unable to stop Israel's inevitable death. All the evil and failure of the kings point to the end of the story when Israel as a nation will die in exile. But the good news of Kings is that death is not the end. Throughout the story, God promises that the people of Israel will be raised back to life. This same hope extends to us in the death and resurrection of Jesus.

When I was Hospitalized, fighting for my life, I watched all of these. And back then when I was in college I already watched your spoken Gospel. And am so happy that you uploaded all of these because there's a healing on it, and it is the word of God that heals. Thank you so much for these videos. Amazing. As always. I could watch these over and over. Been using them to help reach others who grasp the word much better visually but it opens them to reading and such. I love how for most part your cast is unchanged. It helps keep continuity in the mind too. At least for me. Love it guys keep em coming! Wish it was more than monthly :)

Praise GOD! Your pastor’s heart helps lead more of the Children of GOD to chose the correct, but narrow gate that leads us to The Kingdom of our GOD. Thank you good and faithful servants!
Let us enter into the narrow gate: for wide is the gate and broad is the way, that leads to destruction, and many are they which foolishly enter that evil gate.
Because narrow is the gate and narrow is the way, which leads unto life, and few there be that find it.
Let the reader take heed of the words written in red ink [the literally recorded and written words of our LORD and Savior JESUS CHRIST] as are recorded in the Seventh Chapter of The Gospel of Matthew in verses 7:13-23.
Read these words very very well and commit all of them to memory.
As the late great Teacher Dr. R.C. Sproul once said:
“These are the words you never want to hear: ‘I NEVER KNEW YOU: DEPART FROM ME, YE THAT WORK INIQUITY.’”
Read all of this pericope (a passage from the Bible as a single unit) namely Matthew 7:13-23 with great care.

Despite the inaccuracy near the end, this is still a great illustration to use 👍 I will be omitting the inaccuracies and replacing them with the biblical truth that I have read and understood. ♥
Since the info starting at 8:50 was not entirely accurate, I will have to make known the corrections needed. Since Jesus is not God, I will be reading the following at my family bible study so as not to cause confusion:
- Jesus was sent by God (whom we are to have no other gods beside)
- Jesus has been granted all authority in heaven and on earth by God (whom we are to love with all our heart, soul, and mind)
- But instead of being loved, Jesus was crucified
Jesus is God. What Bible are you reading that says he isn't?
@@FernServesGod I have come to the same conclusion with every bible I read. I have heard 100 different scriptures in which Christians have used to try and prove that Jesus is God and I have a biblical and scriptural explanation for each and every one of them. Feel free to reply with your email and I'll just send them all over to you. ♥ If you'd like to discount any given explanation that you see, I'm more than willing to read your response. My only request is that you keep each response to one email at a time so as to not cause confusion. Also, a shorter email is easier and quicker to respond to.
