However, both my students and I have come to enjoy IMMENSELY your blogs as a way to unwind if we finish a lesson early. They actually push themselves for the chance to see the posts (even if they've seen them before). Thank you for what you folks have done. Watching them, I get thrown back to early Jim Henson work. Only a one little problem... the charged plasma they had to use for the blade... came out at roughly the same temperature as a small scale thermonuclear explosion... so it melts the emitter array in about 15 seconds, even with massive heat shielding made of ceramic and other heat dissipating materials super cooled with liquid nitrogen... and you to wear a reflective thermal suit like a volcanologist walking up to Mt. Kilauea with big bulky gloves... and the whole assembly more resembles a fleshlight sex toy than a sleek and slender sexy weapon of civilized death from the future... ... but hey... it does exist none the less!
