As a trombonist myself, that guy is the most tromboniest person I've ever seen in my life
How about this trombonist form a previous similar game? '4 String Players vs 1 Secret Wind Player (ft. HKFO)'
😁😁 y'all are my favorites
I'm a music educator and I knew he was truly a trombone player by how he curled his right fingers to move the fictitious slide.
Don't you mean... TROMBONER?
@@EggyB I always mean that 🤓🤓🤓🤓
😂 Thank you for having me on the channel guys! It was hilarious! Time to PRACTICE my conducting!
🫳🫳

🫳🫳
🫴🫴 the conducting hand motions 😭😭😭
You conducted like you were a dj off xanax at a rave concert ahahaha
You were praying to the classical gods 😭
the finger resting/holding on the mouthpiece gave it away for me.... i wouldn't think non-trombone players think to do that, but it's habit for a player... now....the conducting part - .......🤣
High-five and way to go, man!! :D I hope this becomes legend in the bone world. Are you in that trombone pedagogy group on FB? I have so many colleagues who need to hear about this video :D
Welcome back to another episode of Brett having the right gut instinct but letting Eddy have the final say.
Brett just too swayed ya know
Pliable
Married couple vibes.
Another game they lost because Brett didn't trust his instincts.
Brett, trust yourself! And Eddy, go Rock, not Paper! 🤣😂🤣
Brett did but Eddy didn't 😅
This was so fun, thank you for having me!! Even if it was for a short while😂❤
Ur voice is gorgeous omg
your voice is so nice
Thank you for participating - Dovorak Cello concerto was a great choice🙂
You certainly did your research!
You have a beautiful voice 😍
Petition for “Guess the Viola player” wherein they’ll bring 5 violinists and 1 violist, and have to guess who is the imposter.
They did it!
The "Cellist" was SUCH a huge troll 😭 the vibrato/tremolo mix-up and "sorry, time's up" was crazy
The moment Odelia said that she plays 3/4 cello, you know she's sus. She could definitely play the full-sized one.
I was told by my cellist friend to say that but fr I take all of these as a compliment HAHA
Im a cellist, it isnt necessarily height that matters, it’s more like how well you can wrap your arms and body around it.
Thank you, Brett and Eddy, for having me onboard, and of course, not forgetting the BBT! I'd like to continue more but oh sorry, time's up.
Lol! I loved your energy and your playing!
Haha loved how you tried to stall there at the end! 😂 you look very dashing in those clothes btw! Banker indeed! 😂
Now you guys are making me feel confident in a "guess the banker" game too (if there's one)
I'd love to see videos of you playing guzheng! You're such a character & no doubt your playing is just as amazing!!
The guzheng player is so funny in such an elegant style!!
He's my guzheng teacher! I can confirm his jokes are pretty funny HAHA
Go
I agree because he-- oops, sorry times up
reveal: im glad they gave every musician a chance to discuss their musical experience. Even if they not classical, it is important to show for support other musicians/ genres
Fully agree! 😊 I knew Olga was a singer, that was the one thing I was absolutely positive of 😂
There should be a prize for the last person standing (who gets picked as the classical musician) to motivate people to try to convince Brett & Eddy. I think it would be funny to see people compete against each other more instead of trolling Brett & Eddy.
ooh, that's a good game mechanic to add!
Except for the real musician then...?
it's them vs the fake ones?@@landsgevaer
@@landsgevaer Well the real musician will try to make it so that he isn't the musician, I guess he gets a prize also if he is out in the first 2 rounds.
Love that idea! Also loved watching them just troll Brett and Eddy...😂 It was a nice twist that they were all actually musicians, I wasn't expecting that 😊
It's funny how sometimes Eddy asks a question but didn't know the exact answer himself, so he just got himself more confused😂 Anyways, it's great that they invited all these artists and allow them to show their awesomeness (and cuteness lol)!
200th like, first reply, remember me when this gets famous! :D (not a bot lol)
Olga as an opera singer hahaha okay maybe in the next life!! 🧑🎤
Well done, fun video, too much sus but all for a good reason haha! 🤘🏼🤘🏼
that's some set of pipes on her! love it :D
@@ieattoomanyclementines2372she was still very nervous and accidentally sung much higher 🤣 Well, nailed it anyway 🤘🏼🤘🏼
@@RockWellerthat is a Mood™
Olga did a very good job of not opening her mouth enough for that piercing to show 👏
got the sus feeling when I hear Queen tribute hahaha but well done!
"Who confuses vibrato with tremolo?" That's easy: electric guitarists, thanks to Fender.
Fender put a vibrato bar on the first Stratocaster but called it a tremolo bar.
They put a tremolo effect in many of their amps but called it vibrato.
The electric guitar world never recovered.
Haha, yes, ”never recovered”. I know one luthier (electric guitars) who is so annoyed by this that he does call trems vibrato bridges.
Not sure though, have you met guitarists who do confuse tremolo for vibrato or vice versa when it comes to playing these as an actual technique? I can’t recall myself ever be confused about these two…
@@molekyylielectric guitarists don’t use those terms. They call vibrato “bending” and they call tremolo “playing real fast.” Joking
I miss you, subtitler-san...
😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢
real 😭😭😭
for real
hope they can afford to pay someone soon
press e# for subtitler-san
11:10 "oh times up" bro knows how to handle the question lol
when olga did that little smile after saying "i trained in classical music" i knew she was a singer but a non-classical one, and for the remaining rounds she didn't sing at all 😂 paddy had me convinced that he was a classical pianist when he trolled with that bit of lo-fi 😂
I love how Odelia Rei said 3/4 cello, it seems to me that she isn't THAT short, so it's likely a 4/4 cello would be more fitting.
Very fun video!!!
My cellist friend told me to say that AND I BELIEVED HIM 😂😂 but I take that as a compliment bc they said the same thing too HAHAHAHA thank you 😂❤
I feel like instead of height, it probably depends on age and maturity, like even if you're short, you could still handle a 4/4 cello as long as your hands are big enough, like children are usually given smaller sized instruments because a bigger one would be too heavy to handle and their body isn't proportionally designed for the intonation of a 4/4 cello as it would throw her off when they grow. Also, smaller instruments I think tend to have a harder time at resonating.
She should have said she plays a 7/8. Many smaller stature cellists play a 7/8 even as an adult. I believe there are even a few professional soloists who use a 7/8! That would have been very believable.
@@OdeliaRei I would have also believed if I was in that situation 😂Amazing. And you're welcome!
@@timsamong Yes, I think it was mentioned in one of the TwoSet videos that the smaller instruments have a different quality of sound..
I love that the trombonist was such a trombonist and the pianist sounded like he was playing Brett's lofi music if anyone else remembers that terrifying video
I fuckin died when he did a cello vibrato with the bow hand🤣🤣🤣
the real classical musician was the friends we made along the way.
I'll see myself out.
Oh God!
Hilarious! I love how the confidence of the internet violin detectives gradually ebbs and we witness a range of emotions from cockiness to indecision to remorse, all punctuated with TwoSet giggles. Thank you for this video.
Why does seeing both of them face palm on the table at 7:32 gives me vibes of the good old days… I love their tours but I do miss as hell them sitting at a table rambling about some violinist and demonstrating short excerpts on their violins. And charades. And sight reading challenges. Miss you a lot guys ❤
the conducting was way to funny tho cant even lie
It goes to show that the brass never look at a conductor 🤣
@@DameMitHermelin lol fr
Very lol
its insane how talented all these people they brought are in their own right. only one classical musician, but 6 crazy ambitious people

Trombonist or coder- the only two options
I'm a trombonists who become a coder. We are often quite the same.
That 'Finance' joke was really good 😅😅
"There's no trombones in Mendelssohn" 🤣
Bretts sense on a brass player is always right! Always listen to him! Shows his experience in orchestra ☺
This was fun! Love the collegial outfits, very snazzy
Loved this video 🥹 all of them sounded so good in the last segment when they revealed themselves! I enjoyed their playing a lot!
Brett got good instincts, but he needs to use them 🤣🤣
My instinct said the singer was a metal singer, I'm astounded!
🤘🏼🤘🏼
metal soprano🤘
Gotta love TwoSet repping musicians from outside western classical music! Awesome talents
have you checked when they were learning Chinese traditional instruments?
'We Went to China Just to Learn this One Instrument'
'We Try Learning Pipa in 1 Hour'
'We Learnt the Guzheng in 1 hour'
lol I play 3/4 cello 😂
I also started a mental alarm when he said alto instead of tenor
I never said it before. But I wish that I found you two sooner. The story of your struggle as classical musician and many of your videos had inspire me to produce more art in the future. I don't know if this would make any difference or not in the long run. But I guess it would better to frustate with things you working on than regret because of things you never tried to. \😊/
I love how two set is doing regular videos again! It makes my day to watch them! All of the musicians were so talented in this video!
That last 2 when asked to speak 30 second, is me everytime i answer essay test without knowing the actual answer. Lol.
Odelia's voice sounds like heaven, chu yuan and sam are hilarious
when brett and eddy collasped onto the desk after the cellist showed the vibrato omg that was so funny XD
Another REALLY ENJOYABLE video, guys! Thank you LOADS! J
This was delightful! I love seeing Brett and Eddy having so much fun. Thanks!!!❤❤❤
Please review the Duolingo music course! We need your thoughts and opinions on it. I am liking it so far, personally. I am on unit 4. Took me a couple of weeks since I am also a student.
I love watching Brett and Eddy having fun. I love all two set violin sm❤
Finally after a very long day, a new twoset video !! 😊😊
Hello! Cellist here, didn't see anyone else respond with this info on a quick scroll (but like, I haven't read all 200 comments so maybe someone has):
For people who are smaller or just have smaller hands, there are professional 7/8 cellos (sometimes called "ladies cello", though I strongly disfavour that term), and professional cellists who play them. They can sound absolutely excellent-it's not so small that you can't make one that sounds good. There are also short-scale 4/4 cellos, which just have a shorter string scale length (nut to bridge length), which can help with smaller hands.
3/4 doesn't seem impossible but very unlikely-you're getting into the size vs. sound/resonance tradeoff most people know about with fractional instruments. Although you can get good quality _student_ 3/4 cellos, I don't ever remembering hearing of anyone making intermediate or professional instruments (unless someone exceptionally had one custom-made to that size-I could certainly see a professional of _exceptionally_ small stature deciding to do this.)
And for clefs, we definitely do not read alto clef. I occasional struggle with alto clef writing viola parts when composing/arranging, but cello music is always bass, tenor or treble clef.
Yeah. The only time I've ever seen a clef outside of bass, tenor, and treble for cello, is in a Bach cello suite(and not the super well known one just to be clear, I think it's no. 6 if I remember correctly that has that use of soprano clef). But certainly nothing after Bach uses clefs outside of bass, tenor, and treble.
I love actually getting to see their talents, what a lovely touch!
Bubble Tea is Bach! And so are you! Glad to have you upload! And remember to practice 40 hours a day!
As a piano student, I can tell from round 1 that the supposed pianist is not a pianist. We would never have our fingers stretched straight like that, even when pretending to play. For us it's just nature to have our fingers curled up, the tip pointing towards the ground. Actually, even when I'm not playing, keeping my fingers straight is still super unnatural for me : D
And also to add, you would never allow yourself to slump over to play the piano to that extent. You'd have to adjust yourself to find a suitable posture when playing the keys, otherwise it's uncomfortable for your wrist to play too.
They’re back to posting weekly!!!! Whooooohooooo!!!!
We love having you guys back ❤
Highly entertaining!!! Thank you.
These little minigames warm my heart! Thank you Eeedy and Bread and all other musicians!
yayyy a new twoset viddd
These are some masterful examples in avoiding to answer, especially in the 30 seconds explanation, "... ... .. ... oh, time is up" haha
If there is a classical musician to detect I usually go with the one who is the most observant, not quiet necessarily, not a tormented, but mm a judgy look in the eyes in a way haha
Great episode, great guests!
Yoo a new video, my day is going to be so lightened
I laughed out loud multiple times throughout this video. Keep it up!
So fun watching TwoSet and the others in this video

Love this episode!!!
chcek this similar previous one: '4 String Players vs 1 Secret Wind Player (ft. HKFO)'
This is so cool, so many different people:)
We all should have gone by looks alone! That guy is every trombonist!!!🤣😂🤣
MY IMPRESSIONS AS I WATCH.... A body language expert would know the imposters immediately!
Chu Yuan - not convinced by the tone in which he says "Yep, I am" @ 0:33 & would a genuine classical musician reply like this? He's out imo.
Odelia - Her 'eye glance up' @ 0:45 when she says she's a cellist, is a big give away. If you're a cellist you know you are & don't have to 'think' about it. She's out imo.
Sam - Hesitation @ 1:42 when he say "I play the... trombone". Brett picks up on this too. "It's suss" he says. Sam's out imo.
Olga - Sounds convincing.
Odelia - From 2:45. She's floundering her way with hesitations....
3:19 Good analysis Eddy. They could indeed pretend to be otherwise but body language doesn't lie.
Tharshini @ 4:20 Nervous hand gestures cos she's making this up. She's out imo.
Paddy @ 9:42 This sounds like he could be the one. It's that Satie piece. Certainly a pianist imo.
By 12:24 I'm thinking the singer IS a singer but Paddy is the classical pianist.
Await the big reveal! Well I got that wrong. Well trolled Sam!
Love these vids. So much fun!
A body language expert would know that you can only really tell if you spend enough time with a person. Everyone is different, and what you are picking up on, might just be a habit
ive heard that body language expert thingys are fake, but yeah just depends how good are you at picking up ppls vibe like if they feel sus or smth.
@@ragmamale4783 Is it suspicious behavior, or are they neurodivergent?
@@ragmamale4783 I'm actually reading a fascinating book called '6 Minute X-Ray' by Chase Hughes, an expert!! He's worked with intelligence operations and interrogation techniques... He spent 10 years researching and developing a system that worked - yer average body language courses didn't. Could he suss out the imposters above with the limited time they spoke? There are so many signs he'd be looking at, from blink rate to head movements, hand gestures and a list as long as your arm. Need to come back to this vid when I've read the book!
Brett's login troll
a gathering of very talented individuals in their own right! very enjoyable!
Breeeettt, promise us to trust and go with your intuition next time!
I never would have guessed the "banker" was a guzheng player! I don't blame you guys for guessing it wrong; it was hard to tell who was lying in this one!
The singer had me convinced she was the classical musician!
If Brett and Eddie knew more about opera, they should have asked her what roles she'd sung. Mezzos usually fulfill supporting roles. The more well-known starring roles are Carmen, Delilah, Cinderella (Rossini), plus "male" roles like Romeo (Bellini) and Cherubino (Mozart).
Good old 2 set vibes! Love it!
Fantastic vid! Appreciate your videos! Ignor the haters and keep up the hard work!
Ey you guys are uploading a lot more now! ❤
