- This has been the worst one yet! In this video I head out fishing the Mobile Bay Kayak Fishing Associations 14th Annual Bagwell fishing tournament in search of flounder, redfish and speckled trout. Little did I know what I was in for!

I have a surf casting tourney Sept 10 at the Jersey shore. Good luck with yours , bro. No motors, huh? Haven't used a motor in decades LOL. Knee to shot for those peddle kayaks and out of my price range anyhow. My 85 12ft StarCraft johnboat works just peachy. This year makes 65 years been soaking baits LOL

ITS BEEN TOUGH FOR SURE ON THE ALABAMA COAST. WINDS BLOWING 12-17 EVERY DAY FOR ALMOST 2 WEEKS! I FISH A HONE HOLE SPOT AROUND DAUPHIN ISLAND AND HAVE BEEN CATCHING MONSTER TROUT AND LIMIT OUT BY 8AM TILL THESEWINDS HAVE SET IN BLOWING EVERY DAY!

The worst thing about catfish isn't their sting, or their slime, or there flavor. The worst thing is the great strong hit and fight and the coming disappointment. Rascals fool us all the time. Good job man. You still put out a good video and had a enjoyable day. It was an enjoyable day for us even though you weren't happy with your results.

As I’m sure you know this time of year can be tough inshore with the high water temperatures and it’s not like you’re in a skiff and can run to another area also we’ve had a high barometer lately which doesn’t help the bite in my experience.
