- After a several days in California preparing, the first of two surgery days has arrived. It is such an emotional thing to watch your child go through something so difficult but we are thankful to know that God is watching over him.

This is definitely one of my most favorite adoption families. These parents are so natural and loving and graceful. Lincoln's hysterical laughter makes me crack into a smile. This dad is the perfect addition to this kids life and mom is the gentle touch. So many kids, this cannot be easy and they manage to make it look effortless.

For sure it is one of the most difficult things to do but they are natural and graceful parents as you said. If all patents in the world are like them, no childen will suffer of shame, low self esteem, unloved or neglect. Take care you guys, health is wealth too in addition to your beautiful family

There was a moment within the first couple minutes when Lincoln turned and looked at Amanda and Amanda’s face showed tremendous joy and love.

Steven is an awesome dad. What a lucky little boy Lincoln is to have him in his life. He's got an awesome mom too. So thankful his first surgery went so well. My prayers are with you. My niece had spinal surgery in 1984. She and my sister stayed at the Ronald McDonald House too. Dad was able to be there only on weekends. It is a hard time for a family. She later had several more surgeries, years apart.

Yoy know what. I was 25 years old when I had my surgery and I cried for two days out of pain but here Lincoln does not even make a single sound out of pain. I am ashame of myself seeing Lincoln so cool and calm after the surgery. I have another surgery to go through and this time I will remember Lincoln and keep my mouth shut.

Such awesome loving parents! I was one of those sick kiddos. I’m in Alberta Canada and in 1983 I had to go to Cleveland Clinic and have a few life saving surgeries. Ronald Macdonald House put my mom up and my dad when he could fly out. I cannot have children partly because of surgeries, I love watching your stories and it definitely has opened my eyes in adoption! Love from Canada 🇨🇦💖
Lincoln is like a little Tiger. Brave and Strong. Also noticed that his smile is a little brighter and is quicker to respond to you. Also i noticed he is trying to say mom.

You’re kids are amazing, knowing that Linky needs slightly more attention sometimes and how they understand that and help him and are always encouraging him, praising him, including him & loving him and are so devoted to him, it must of been hard for them too been so far away from their baby brother thru such an emotional time. Also knowing that their Mum & Dad where going thru a hellish time and where apart and couldn’t all be together to support you both and Lincoln. He was such a brave boy. I know you don’t film the harder times but i know there would of been same horrendous times dure in those 2/3 weeks. Am in awe of you both. He’s a warrior!

That is what l saw straight after surgery, he was trying to use his hand and arm in a way l did not see before.l pray he get more movements, but anyway this little boy as he is , a real joy to behold, what a treasure you have. Yeshua bless your little family Shalom
