I just saw a post on Facebook last week about a family who had a child with leg braces. They found some shoes at Nordstrom called Billy footwear zip around high tops. They said they were perfect for kids with braces. Hope that helps! Many blessing ms to your family and Lincoln’s recovery.

I was pretty upset the other day after watching a family that has abused their adopted child emotionally. But after watching your video, I feel like there’s still hope in this world. Lincoln kissing you was his way of saying thankyou mom for getting my brain fixed . By the way, continue to talk to him as you would your other children, he can hear you. Once his brain is fixed, he will start to communicate with you verbally. Remember you are doing the right thing for Lincoln.
I was adopted from Bucharest, Romania when I was 17 months old so this hit so close to home, you guys are so great at giving support, reassurance, and genuine love. Reminds me so much of my adoptive parents...AKA the only mother and father I've ever know and that have loved me unconditionally for 21+ years. I by no means was an easy child, I had intense behavioral issues as well as some learning disabilities and not for one moment did they give having me as a daughter a second thought, they worked through everything with me and have always helped me through my struggles. Yes it was difficult for us all but I wouldn't trade them for anything in the world. I am so blessed to have been picked out for my parents, I was looking at myself in the mirror the other day and I said "damn I look just like my mom when she was a teen/20ish years old, how did they match us so perfectly". I am still in shock that that family re homed their special needs adoptive son after 3 years of being apart of their family.
Lincoln is blessed to have two wonderful parents that love him so much ❤️❤️❤️ and with God on your side he will do amazing❤️ He is truly blessed 😊

Oh my goddd, I just came back to watch this video as a throwback because TH-cam randomly recommended this on my feed - and I just realized that at 8:46 Lincoln was trying to say his one and only iconic "byeeee!" The birthplace of such an iconic line for him!! This is making me so emo 🥺😭💖 Especially seeing how far he's come now, walking by himself and saying full words to communicate!!
It is a mountain of HARD WORK and SACRIFICES to raise one child, let alone 7 and some with special needs. You are both heroic in your tenacity to make the world a better place and help the unfortunate children who were abandoned or have physical / mental challenges. It takes a great deal of strength personally and a belief in each other to make it all work. Very inspiring. You are leaving the world a better place for us all. Thank you for this gift to the children. As you sow, so shall you reap. These kids will cherish the family time and grow up to be beautiful humans. Well done, and stay strong!

It brings tear too my eyes how can’t walk or use his left arm.......
My niece doesn't have the same condition as him, but she wasn't able to use her left arm and leg as well when she was younger. She's better now because of therapy and her mother's help, so Lincoln will be able to start using his as well (if you watch their recent videos).

Amanda, you are such a precious Mom! My Mom, before she moved to Heaven, told me the eyes are a window to the soul! I can see the pain, fear and love in your eyes. The heart of a Mother!! It touches my heart to see your Mother's heart! Although we know ( year later) how God's hand has certainly been all over Lincoln, to see your eyes, and see that love of a Mom and Dad for Lincoln, is absolutely a representation of God's love for us, His adopted CHILDREN! God bless you all! I'm fairly new to the channel, and God's has used y'all to truly bless me, my hubby and our 2 Adopted babies. We may not have carried some of our children in our womb, but we did carry them, in our hearts and our birthing pains we're very real, and VERY long! I have a genetic disorder that ranges in severity(NF1). Mine was very mild but the doctors watched it closely. This video reminded me of day trips to Dallas with my Mom for my MRIs with all the attention on me and loving it. Im glad that Lincoln is thriving and thankful he has such a lovely family that can care for him and his needs.
