Great refresher! It’s been a few years since I took your fantastic week-long class at the John C. Campbell Folk School, and had forgotten a few tricks! Thanks!
Like your explanation of what you are doing. Have seen the use of the stirrer, but have not seen anything other than blending in other people's work. Can see the value and reasoning in what you are doing. Thank you!
Cool! I'm struggling with acrylic paints but have always loved playing with alcohol inks. Have wanted to learn other techniques besides the splotches. I have subscribed and will be watching all of your videos! Hope to see more from you as your technique is so neat and understandable. TFS 👍🏻💖
Have no idea how I found your demo but am so glad I did! Your calm soothing voice and excellent skills with alcohol ink painting are inspirational . I've just been stumbling along, self taught, doing okay. Hope you are well and if possible you do some more demos? Such a letdown to see you have so few posted.
Fantastic piece. Your soft voice combined with your artistic prowess made watching this video time well spent and very relaxing. Thanks so much for sharing.
DANG, I love that rubbing the straw sideways through the ink look, looks like northern lights. That's a great tip, thanks! Also, Using the sideways straw to drag the snow cap to make some better clouds was very nice too. I have found snowcap tough to work with, but I'm gonna try your technique.
Very nice control of inks!! I went to watch you zoom meeting yesterday after the fact as I was not available during but it ended up being an empty seat??
I love your landscape painting . Could you please let me know what paper you used . I'm just starting to do Alcohol ink painting and am so green as to what you can paint on . Thanking you .
