As a man who has had many new Toyota cars you have made an excellent choice. I have had my current Toyota Camry Atara 2.5 S for over 7 years and I bought it new. I have done 120,000 kilometres and still there is not one rattle or squeak when you drive it. Fantastic car which will last a many years yet. In my opinion, it is nobody's business where you got the money or how much your car cost. It is one thing to share some things of your life, but there is a limit. I do not think it is important to tell people how you earned your money, or how much you saved or how you saved it. People can be so nosey about things that are not relevant to them.

Rick, i really understand your opinion about màintaining the privacy of a vlogger, but i also understand that these vloggers have opened all possibilities about being intruded becàuse they made their own private lives as their main video topics. Spectators are inquisitive because they are intrigued how this young lady is able to àfford a car at her age just vlogging. So, people gets nosey to the point that their line of questions have invaded the vlogger's privacy. In the real world you can say"it is none of your business". When vloggers put on a video about a topic like building a house, people will give in positive or negative criticisms about the building process. In the business world, I think they encouraged this somehow to increase their views which equate to more $. It is a nasty world and that is the truth.

I bought my new car and after 2 years someone hit it. The car value depreciate after it leaves the car lot. As long as it's low mileage and runs good. It doesnt matter whether its brand new or preowned. You do what you want with your money and your life. So many envious people will say bad things about you. Ignore those ideas and comments. Stay positive and plan ahead. Savings is the best option. Not owing is the best. Your reg is not as expensive and insurance. No more headache of monthly payments. Thats how i purchased things myself.

I had the same issues when I took over my father's business. Everyone thought I would fail the first year of taking it over. Always keep an eye on your fluids like oil transmission fluid windshield washer fluid ect n keep a tire gage in ur car 🚘 also you can buy a battery pack w a tire 🛞 filler already on it n it can charge ur phone too ;)
From my research, cars are much more expensive in PH than America. For example, a Jeep Wrangler costs close to $70K USD. Must be a combo of import duties and lack of dealer competition. Many $50K cars in U.S. cost &90K in PH. I wonder if it's cheaper to ship our own U.S. cars over to Philippines. I imagine service and repairs must be very slow over there and what about car insurance? Is it common for people to buy a car in big city Manila and ship to the other islands? Can you lease a car in PH?

My half filipina daughter wanted a jeep wrangler and i told her not to get one as they are pieces of junk, she did anyway. Now she has bought a corolla to drive to work etc because the jeep uses to much petrol (gas). The wranglers look good but they are unreliable they wander all over the road and use lots of fuel, about twice that of a Toyota corolla.
That video was packed full of stuff..wow! You have a lot to be proud of in your young life. It is commendable that you have worked hard, saved, and had the foresight to get a bank account right when working BPO. So many I have seen that work in call center and end up saving nothing. My personal opinion is you shouldn’t be too upset when people say what you do is easy.I see it as a complement to how well you do an entire production crews job. You do them all so well that you make it LOOK easy. A lot of successful people are able to make their job look easy when it is really much more difficult than we see. Meljean, my Toyota is a 2006 and it still runs great, getting 36 mpg on the highway. It has given me no problems at all and now has about 170,000 miles on it. As for the haters and the nosy, forget them and their judgment. [Edit: BTW... my gf is Pinay and she's sure not with me for my money. I have way too little for that to be her motivation. lol]

Been in south east Asia most ride motorcycles and babies and children ride on these in standing or on the laps of parents. I would not worry to much what people say . People always criticize . i wouldnt use jumper cables on a modern car younger than 1998 it can screw up the rev counter and jam it in the high range never to recover again, such is the dialema of computerized vechicles these days . you can do a lot of electrical damage using jumper cables these days.

You need a good garage and wax job to protect the paint job from sun damage. Armour All on rubber bumpers at least once or twice a year. Otherwise in few years it might be faded dull red paint and graying cracked bumpers. I would get water resistant seat covers to protect the original fabric of the car because once a spill or stain or damage to the original happens then well it stays forever unless you get it all replaced. It should have come with stock floor mats. But I personally like to buy a cheaper “everyday “ set for wear and tear because I like keeping original stuff pristine. Floor mats pick up the most dirt because you and people step on all kinds of junk, so that takes the most abuse. A house vacuum cleaner is very convenient to keep it clean and detailed. Or you can take it to a car wash. They may do a good job but the effort and time might not be worth it. My dad uses a fluffy duster type to remove dirt on the car surface that is gentle and does not scratch the exterior which is better than constant water washing which slowly eat away the thin layer of car wax polish. My dad said always maintain oil change (every 3500 miles) and the car engine will last forever. I’ve had a lot of cars for a long time and found this to be true. Keeping your car pretty won’t make it worth more as years go by. But it’s always nice to get into a super clean looking car that is super reliable. Makes your day better. Get a dash cam. Knowing people drive crazy, protect yourself with camera so you have real proof as evidence rather than peoples chaotic testimonies. When bad things happen, you will always wish you had some back up to rely on or preparation. Be sure you know what to do who to call when bad things happen. Usually we panic at the moment. So I write down on index cards and stash it in the glove compartment so I just follow instructions than have to think on the spot. I cried the first time when my brand new car got its first scratch. Flying rocks or someone putting a scratch on your car in the parking lot is a sad feeling. But over time, it can’t be helped and now every scratch I think of as battle scars. Driving on some roads in some places is war.

Toyota is an easy car to work on very reliable. In the United States parts are cheap for them and we have part stores all over the place. Is it easy get parts there? Do you have many parts stores for people who like working on their own cars?

I am so proud of you! you are an awsome person, You manage your budget so well I also like the way you built your house, I live in Costa Rica and there are similar homes here, some with galvenezed roof panels for walls, just like you used on your roof also some with cement board panels like 3/4" thick for the outside walls, and sheet rock walls inside just like yours, also cement floors, and ceramic tiles inside. I bought my new car and after 2 years someone hit it. The car value depreciate after it leaves the car lot. As long as it's low mileage and runs good. It doesnt matter whether its brand new or preowned. You do what you want with your money and your life. So many envious people will say bad things about you. Ignore those ideas and comments. Stay positive and plan ahead. Savings is the best option. Not owing is the best. Your reg is not as expensive and insurance. No more headache of monthly payments. Thats how i purchased things myself.

From my research, cars are much more expensive in PH than America. For example, a Jeep Wrangler costs close to $70K USD. Must be a combo of import duties and lack of dealer competition. Many $50K cars in U.S. cost &90K in PH. I wonder if it's cheaper to ship our own U.S. cars over to Philippines. I imagine service and repairs must be very slow over there and what about car insurance? Is it common for people to buy a car in big city Manila and ship to the other islands? Can you lease a car in PH?

My half filipina daughter wanted a jeep wrangler and i told her not to get one as they are pieces of junk, she did anyway. Now she has bought a corolla to drive to work etc because the jeep uses to much petrol (gas). The wranglers look good but they are unreliable they wander all over the road and use lots of fuel, about twice that of a Toyota corolla.

My personal opinion is you shouldn’t be too upset when people say what you do is easy.I see it as a complement to how well you do an entire production crews job. You do them all so well that you make it LOOK easy. A lot of successful people are able to make their job look easy when it is really much more difficult than we see. Meljean, my Toyota is a 2006 and it still runs great, getting 36 mpg on the highway. It has given me no problems at all and now has about 170,000 miles on it. As for the haters and the nosy, forget them and their judgment.
[Edit: BTW... my gf is Pinay and she's sure not with me for my money. I have way too little for that to be her motivation. lol]

i wouldnt use jumper cables on a modern car younger than 1998 it can screw up the rev counter and jam it in the high range never to recover again, such is the dialema of computerized vechicles these days . you can do a lot of electrical damage using jumper cables these days.

You need a good garage and wax job to protect the paint job from sun damage. Armour All on rubber bumpers at least once or twice a year. Otherwise in few years it might be faded dull red paint and graying cracked bumpers. I would get water resistant seat covers to protect the original fabric of the car because once a spill or stain or damage to the original happens then well it stays forever unless you get it all replaced. It should have come with stock floor mats. But I personally like to buy a cheaper “everyday “ set for wear and tear because I like keeping original stuff pristine. Floor mats pick up the most dirt because you and people step on all kinds of junk, so that takes the most abuse. A house vacuum cleaner is very convenient to keep it clean and detailed. Or you can take it to a car wash. They may do a good job but the effort and time might not be worth it. My dad uses a fluffy duster type to remove dirt on the car surface that is gentle and does not scratch the exterior which is better than constant water washing which slowly eat away the thin layer of car wax polish. My dad said always maintain oil change (every 3500 miles) and the car engine will last forever. I’ve had a lot of cars for a long time and found this to be true. Keeping your car pretty won’t make it worth more as years go by. But it’s always nice to get into a super clean looking car that is super reliable. Makes your day better. Get a dash cam. Knowing people drive crazy, protect yourself with camera so you have real proof as evidence rather than peoples chaotic testimonies. When bad things happen, you will always wish you had some back up to rely on or preparation. Be sure you know what to do who to call when bad things happen. Usually we panic at the moment. So I write down on index cards and stash it in the glove compartment so I just follow instructions than have to think on the spot. I cried the first time when my brand new car got its first scratch. Flying rocks or someone putting a scratch on your car in the parking lot is a sad feeling. But over time, it can’t be helped and now every scratch I think of as battle scars. Driving on some roads in some places is war.

Toyota is an easy car to work on very reliable. In the United States parts are cheap for them and we have part stores all over the place. Is it easy get parts there? Do you have many parts stores for people who like working on their own cars?

Toyota is wise. My 2004 Toyota Sequoia has 365 miles now and still run like new.
