It always has to be re-established that they are indeed familiar with the books because some people only watch 1 video some go down the rabbit hole and watch many. So it's good for them to always mention that they are very familiar with the books. To avoid the people that are gatekeepy and say crap like. "I bet they never even read the books because Annabeth would NEVER do that the way Leah did!!" Or "Percy is NOT this childish with his humor they're doing it wrong" blah blah blah. By them saying straight up "I Have read the books. I am a fan of them. I KNOW my character because I'm such a big fan" it shuts the gatekeepers up.
When they talked about percabeth, Aryan represented the entire fandom, even beyond that he shook his head, already waiting for these questions about percabeth to start appearing.
I love how if you look to Walker's face, sometimes he has that smile.. you know, when you think something funny to yourself, but don't mention it. That's something that everyone does, but it really remind me of the Percy Jackson from the books

This interview is making me think that walker might actually be in Deadpool 3. Aryan pointing at walker after he brought up the Disney plus contract made it seem like they were acting and Leah’s smile was big for some reason.
It’s so funny to me how they react when it talks about the love part of percbeth they get so shy it’s makes you really see how they are really just kids who find things like this awkward but they are also actors so they are so professional love that
I have watched a few press panels regarding the show today, and i have been able to notice the experience level of each of the trio. Before researching, it seemed like leah was the least experienced in interviews and walker was the most. After doing some research, it appears that leah has participated more projects than walker, but may not have done as many interviews as he has. Im not familiar with the roles in leahs filmography, but i estimate that she has had smaller roles and therefore not been in the press tour for those projects. Walker has had one massive project in his filmography, where he was one of the leads and got thrown in the deep end alongside reynolds. Aryan, on the other hand, is a few years older than the former actors and has had experience in disney channel projects, so he is more mature chronologically and has had more credits under his belt which may have provided some more interview opportunities on a slightly smaller scale than walker. They truly are kids
For Leah the problem weren’t smaller roles, but just the problem of having so much to say with trouble actually speaking it. I would say she has had quite some big roles in her career
