It’s not that locksmiths don’t want to teach people how to open locks, it’s because they have professional ethics. You put it on the Internet and let people learn it, but you don’t know if he will steal it. The lock is to make every family safe, and it’s not safe for everyone to know.
I disagree. I think lock security should be treated exactly like computer security. The locks featured here have clear vulnerabilities that can be prevented. Lock makers that still produce these locks rely on consumer ignorance. Raising awareness is the only way to get consumers to avoid poor locks. These locks can have a purpose in securing inexpensive material (clothes, generic documents, etc), but should never be used for high security (guns, computers, jewelry). This video helps raise awareness that flawed locks are still in common usage and consumers need to learn of these flaws so they know what to look for.

I’m a bugler and I approve this method 😂
My favorite customer is the one who asks for a cheap but good lock.
There's no such thing.
It's either cheap or it's good.

you teach thieves their business well
Gut das man immer die nötigen Utensilien am Mann hat .
Yep 90% (being kind) or more of all locks are #2 or poo. LPL showed me that.
The problem is that a lock is somewhere on, so you can not take it in your hands so easy and do those thinks... I think if you want to open a loch which is somewhere on, it will be not so easy.
bolt cutters
Try doing these with a british lock instead of those cheap chinese things, you wont get such easy results :)
Or try Abloy PL340 High Security Padlock
@@Justusosaa LockPickingLawyer will open that no problem. He picked an Abloy 341 Enforcer in under 3 minutes.
@@blazera7328 yes but LPL ain't a tool you can just pull out to pick a lock with.
Lol do you think British locks have some sort of prestige or something?
Pathetic
Got a 4" grinder and a cutting wheel?
WOW useful trick if they work...
Thank You Very Much!!
This information is useful for me. Thanks.
OK the first two were good, but I would just cut the 3rd one with cable cutters. Ty
👍😊
Random gestures at the bottom of a lock. Do something. It opens.
Obrigado pelo tutorial
Se ruba😄
Video went from useful to absurd at 1:30. So many easier ways than milling off the end of the lock and removing the pins. Like... bolt cutters.
Very good idea
Are you mute? it would help if you'd just speak and say what you mean, instead of tapping with fingers, but quite neat tricks.
I've always wondered if it's possible to use some liquid + pressure to pop a lock open.
Locks are to keep honest people honest. Most are easily overcome without even damage to the lock.
Nope, honest people do not need deterrance or resistance.. it's the creeps you are/are not protecting against. In USA, the threshold for minimum acceptable security is frighteningly low. We do not take security as seriously as we ought to. A higher threshold is common elsewhere in the world.
@@citylockapolytechnikeyllcc7936 true however most theft is done or any crime for that matter is done with the leat residence as possible and a Lock is all the deterrent they need. You took this was to literal. A Lock will not stop crime. Opportunity is often the all it takes. Just as a honest person can be knowledgeable about opening locks. That's a very old saying for a good reason.
@@dirtwasher24k Good perimeter security will withstand various forms of attack, for a specified time. Security is measured more in time. This is where the UL437 ratings came from, as well as the way way out of date TL safe rating system. ( which needs to be totally replaced with a peer review, expiring rating system.
The envelope as an entity must be considered..This includes all 6 or more sides to the structure, the fenestration design, hinging and locking components. I am VERY literal. A criminal is a criminal. MOST will go for the softer target.
I think we agree with the bear, pair of sneakers and two buddies in the woods analogy.
"Open -lock- _MASTERLOCK_ without a key."
Can often be accomplished by simply sneezing nearby.
ハンマー一つで、あんな簡単に開けるとは思わんかった
Locks keep opportunistic/ honest people out. If you want to get in you will.
Interesting. I think, it must exist one Way to force open this Lock in Emergency Situations.
Sadly i'm not interested in entering old sheds or basement shacks.....
what was the point of number 5 did not unlock
LSOs.
Lock Shaped Objects.
And what don't locksmiths want you to know? That you can destroy locks with cutting/drilling/jemmying tools?
Oh yeah we definitely don't want you to know that there are better locks out there. Such a big secret.
Excellent 👌
Well a big Thank You for showing thieves something new to them.
Tbh. those tricks would most likely lower their chance of success compared to the conventional lock picking
Какие коварные слесари. Хорошо, что вы раскрыли этот всемирный заговор слесарей. Теперь мир спасён и всё благодаря вам.

As we all know basic pad locks are to keep HONEST people out .
Or just use a wave rake against those cheap locks and open it within seconds.
от
Or a Milwaukee grinder and cutoff wheel to open any lock...
44 mag to the lock. Kinda loud but works very well😇😉🤣
Bolt cutters ,grinder or Sawzall works every time
Many locks out there are made against these attacks. A small Commando lock beats all those attacks. Many are just unaware of good locks.
@@phpicker1552 I'll check it out . Thx
😅 PSA FROM A LOCKSMITH..WE would like to tell you not to use cheap ass locks as they use in this video.
THANK YOU FOR YOUR TIME 🙏😂😂😂😂
Will this work on Bank Vaults………???
Every defense has a flaw. Locks are only good vs the unprepared. I lock my bike as well as possible. But no option is perfect. A good thief can defeat almost anything. The perfect lock is covered in a highly dangerous poison. Likely would get you some serious jail time though.
LOL , my long handled bolt cutters are immune to poison.
@@MrTomtusti Assumes you know it's there.
@@bunnyniyori6324 Yes, from now on all locks are poison
@@MrTomtusti Whatever dear. I'm aware of how to compromise almost any lock. The thing is I tend to live in places where the people are not so nasty.

У нас по тихому так сделали покрасили и месяца два три так масло склад открывали закрывали
Это если у тебя замок лежит, а ключа нет
*Top idea* 👍👏👏👏👏
Any cordless drill or angle grinder and good cutoff wheel .
Or bolt cutters.
Just learn how to pick! It's actually kind of a fun fidget hobby. Saved my ass multiple times... and it always works.. once you get good at it. As far as bypass methods, most are very lock specific and you need knowledge of the internals of that specific lock to do it. Padlock shims are cheap and work on most budget pad locks. Honestly, if you're going the destructive route, angle grinder and cut off disc.. zzzt.. done. Btw that clear lock is a practice lock. It's designed to be easy to open. All the pins are usually rounded so that you just have to get them in roughly the right place. It's meant to teach the basics and fundamentals of actual picking. If you're going the lazy route, get a pick gun. Either a snap gun or one of the electric ones all work great on 80 percent of locks you will encounter. To the locksmiths.. yes you are right, this stuff is not as easy as it looks on TH-cam.. however, with practice, research, and the right tools.. you can get into probably 80 percent of the stuff you come across. Cars are a whole different story.
да в авто линейка в помощь... либо кирпич в стекло.

Those are pretty cheap and weak made locks. Let's see you do that to a lock made of harden steel and those clear practice locks are made with weak springs, easier to learn how to pick for beginners. Other than that if someone lost a key to a lock like these this video will help them.
Locksmith don't care if you know this in fact we often show this to customers when picking out a lock, cutting/picking padlocks is honestly busy work that takes us away from real jobs, yes we will do it but our time is better spent
I would build a shed door that has padlock on other side and visible hinges on other side. But lock and hinges would be fake and door would have real hinges on lock side and it would open inside. You would only lift simple bolt with credit card or ruler. No keyhole or doorknob. Just push.
what about if lock is on gate or something
How do i get a padlock into a wise if it is locked to a door?
Remove the hinges and carry the door to the vise, Stupid Questions Deserve Stupid Answers.
Thank you, I'll go to commit robberies if I look I will indicate the link to your channel 🤔🤣🤣🤣👍👍👍
Good video brother thank you for sharing
A lock only keeps an honest man out.
Bullshit
I wonder what the lpl would say to these.
A large pair of bolt cutters works great.
Or just have keys. Almost all cheap padlocks have a select few keys they use, all of which are available for purchase online.
