I have an old hilti TE60 bought in a car boot sale for about $100
It has a theft protection system light on that stops it from working and I have no fob key to activate it.
I don't want to go to hilti as they charge a lot of money.
Any suggestions before I throw it to the bin?

Estimado, soy de Argentina y tengo un problema con el martillo Hilti TE-706 AVR. El fallo es que al intentar encenderlo intenta arrancar y se para (la mecanica esta en perfectas condiciones) luego enciende la luz de servicio. Muchas gracias desde ya, saludos cordiales Simon Herrera.
Dear, I'm from Argentina and I have a problem with the Hilti TE-706 AVR hammer. The fault is that when trying to turn it on it tries to start and stops (the engine is in perfect condition) then turns on the service light. Many thanks from now, best regards Simon Herrera.
When you hover over the red lamp with the laser, the lamp goes out and after some time it lights up again. What to do ?
Si funciona, yo tenia un te60 y el único problema que tenia es que se había dañado el cable de corriente, todo lo mecánico estaba en perfectas condiciones, solo le pase el láser y funciono.

thanks for this informational video but i kind of did'nt get what u did there... all i understood was u pinted the laser at the red light and u reset it.... so if its that simple, do you really need to open the tool to do what u did or can u do it with the tool closed up and point the laser at it from the outside? Looking forward to hear from you. thanks

I will answer your question: ( do you really need to open the tool to do what u did ) I have been working in the maintenance center, and when the customer brings his machine, in order to repair it, we dismantle and analysis of faults in it, and in any case I will soon upload video on TH-cam, explain the method and system work fot TE1000 AVR , and please visit our site maintenance, in order to understand my intention and my goal of video publishing

I have taken out wires to repair blue wire from connector and forgot where it came out. Would you please let me know where to they go in connector

It worked for me, but what I had to do was to take the laser and point it across the opening back and forth. The light shut of right away.

Boa noite amigo e o seu comentário eu estou com uma máquina dessa mesmo com esse mesmo problema fiz mesmo procedimento aí do vídeo com laser e nada foi resolvido não consegui êxito nenhum encontro com a máquina parada e a placa não tem possibilidade de recuperar ela porque dá é coberta com a Regina plástica não sei ponto a máquina parada e uma placa dessa muito cara ele funciona ou também fiz com LED e acendeu as luzes apontei o laser na direção do EDGE funcionou e depois parou não funcionou mais souber de algum resultado aí você fala para mim valeu obrigado aí uma força

Hi, what about TE 3000 AVR, I have the same issue, I turned off the red light with laser, but I couldn't make it work. Is there a different way to fix that or something I ignored.

no, you have done all you can do , they work at the same principle they have SR motor ( switched reluctance motor ) i think there are problem in the way of work because there is a lot of electronic element in the main board and when the breaker get working , the electric elements separated from it's places , and the selecon material where but on the board , prevent you to fix any thing so it big mistake and Hilti ignore that .

Eliminate the circuit board and connect it cable cord to the switch. It will work

i had the same problem and i also tried solving it with a laser annd it worked aslong as it is still plugged in. as soon as you unplug it and replug it again the light goes on again and have to laser restart it again.

the service indicator/light is an indication that your tool needs serviced not that the light only needs reset. would you do that with your car...no. send the tool to hilti for a professional repair and you will get a warranty with the repair. Yes you will reset the light but your tool will only lack performance and lead to a more costly repair in the future. this guys tool in the video really needs a repair or service.

This means that the fault in the main circuit and not in the reboot circuit and in this case you have to change the main circuit, and nothing to do but change the main circuit

it can not possible to reset the tool Hilti breaker with any "red light". And if you see that man shown not only one video but it compiles two videos of Hilti breaker
