A.C.E are literally ACES who keep on challenging themselves and never fail to deliver the best despite not having any privilege..they really started everything from the scratch..they didn't even have any mirror in their practice room when they first started and had to look at each other in order to get the right dance moves and be in sync with each other..BEAT INTERACTIVE was only a small basement room which functioned as A.C.E's practice room and also the place where the company operated..A.C.E really deserve the whole universe for their determination, hard work and immense talents.

Someone commented how this song had no rap parts which I didn’t even realize even after the many times I listened to it. That’s why byeongkwan and sehyoon shine so much. Because their vocals are extremely noticed since usually they are in charge of the powerful rap parts but now their soft and beautiful and powerful vocals shine so much. Byeongkwan and sehyoon have always been part of a.c.e’s vocal line but now they can show how they are truly main vocals in addition to main rappers
And, correct me if I'm wrong, but there's no rap in the entire album :o

sometimes i miss the times when higher was released because nothing feels the same, some things may change for some people but life goes on as it is, sometimes there are down periods and thank you so much to higher for that! you make me feel really good higher, stay happy!
Even if we don’t get a win this comeback please know that a.c.e and choice won first place a long time ago. Choice please never stop letting the members know that they themselves are more than enough. They work so incredibly hard and never let us down. Let’s just show them and give them as much love and support as possible so they never feel alone. They deserve so much more than a trophy
If anyone's interested in a theory:
A.C.E are basically mermen who live under water, where most of the MV takes place. But one day, they saw a person above the surface, represented by the moon, and fell in love at first sight. The song and MV deals with their longing for this person and them going "Higher" and eventually above this surface in order to see this person again.
They reach the above/the surface during the last chorus, where they are depicted dancing in nature.
Before this, they were trapped under water which was, among other things, portrayed by them fighting under veils in the MV. But since they had already fallen in love with "the moon", best portrayed by Chan swallowing it while insinuating that love is like a drug and vital for survival, they can now not live in its absence. The absence of the moon under water is represented by the solar eclipse.
Overall, we might say that the moon in the MV represents choice - and no matter what or who will stop them, A.C.E want to reach us and our hearts with their music. A.C.E x Choice are fated to be forever☆

ACE's back must hurt from carrying such overwhelming ARTISTRY.
Everything in the MV and concept photos is related to the oceans and everything is so cohesive and put together. From the make-up to the clothes, jewelry, hair and props, it all ties together. All the spherical elements (pearls all around, moon, water bowl, water bubbles), the shells, water ripples, blue colors. I LOVE THIS! ACE are concept kings and I love the execution and idea of male sirens.

I have many favorite moments, most notably: the scene where SehChan are singing to each other, sea urchin Donghun, and BK with playing w/ that sphere like a yo-yo.

I'm here after watching build up...the number of views makes me a little sad. The song is good and the mv is so pretty, it deserves more. Donghun looks so beautiful! Delicate and intense at the same time, a little surprise compared to his gentle ballad singer image from build up. His voice sounds very different too, I thought he naturally had a deeper voice but the fact he sang like that on purpose makes him even more impressive. Ah I really think I fell for him...
Just want you to know that your comment makes me so happy..Donghun is my ult bias and A.C.E is the only kpop group that I stan. I hope you'd check out more of their MV's and covers. They had done lots of dance covers and vocal covers as well. Their original songs are great too. And yes, Donghun is a very versatile vocalist who has wide range of vocal. He is a great dancer as well. You might be shock knowing that he didn't have any dancing background before joining A.C.E ..He was a vocal teacher for school students before joining A.C.E. He had to skip 2 years of singing lesson to focus mainly on dancing so that he would be at par with the rest of A.C.E members who have dancing background. Please do check out more A.C.E videos and I hope you'd love this group as well. Believe me, the more yoy know Donghun, the deeper you'd fall for his charms. He had penned and composed lots of songs as well.

I'm not that big on k-pop tbh, I mostly know of groups through my friends and it's also how I ended up watching this show. So idk yet if I'll be a fan of the group but I'll support Donghun no matter what. I've been checking out their covers and I really enjoyed it. It's hard for me to believe that such a talented group gets so little attention.
Same. Ive been captivated by Donghun in build up and started binge watching ACE. The more you get to know Donghun, the more respect you’ll have for the guy. His love for music is so sincere and genuine. He is not a dancer in this group (actually the only non dancer title, right?), but yet look at him. It shows how much effort he must have put in. Now he’s got his own sexy swag in his moves. Very mesmerizing. I’m absolutely in love with everything Donghun. It doesn’t hurt that the other 4 members are also so talented and hilarious dorks. I love them.
Oh one more thing.. I’m also not really into hard hitting overwhelming idol music So I started out with cover songs, then started watching their MVs, dance practices, and buskings. It’s really surprising that I actually like most of their songs, if not all, even the ones I normally won’t listen to. They also have less hard hitting songs which I absolutely love. Try First Love, Angel, Stand by you, Clover to name a few

He mentioned that he was always scolded before when he didn't know how to dance during the predebut days but then Jun and Sehyoon always teach him. All of the group members have very good camaraderie with each other..I really miss those days when they still live together in the same apartment..have you watched Donghun on mixnine?? A.C.E has always worked so hard since there from a smaller company and they're "Beats interactive entertainments" first group, and cause of that, they never had any senior groups that could've helped promote them as a rookie boy band. As long as I know I am following not only a talented group but artists who are genuinely passionate in what they do and really care about their fans. It was my best choice to become a Choice. Such a warm and tight-knit fandom with almost zero drama and negativity. My only regret is that I didn't follow them sooner. To anyone who is reading this and silently lingering around the boys, please remember the name --A.C.E-- linger around them some more and just let yourself naturally fall into their hole. ACE is all rounder group. So talented. They are the best in the survival shows. Hopefully they’ll get first win.
With Goblin I was already under the spell. I had then discovered their discography and I wanted to become a Choice.
Afterwards, there was Down that I listen to whenever I want to get in a good mood because this song is so bright that it warms you effortlessly.
And now we have Higher. A beautiful romantic song with a breathtaking aesthetic. The boys' voices are so pure, so sweet, so enchanting here, there’s no way anyone could question their vocal talents!
When we think that A.C.E can’t do better, they prove the opposite.
