cheers mate just wanted to make sure I hadn't screwed it on the wrong side but looks like it doesn't matter. Hopefully this improves cutting thru the water for seeing fish on camera
Making a video like this takes some time haha u wont belueve howuch footage i got for this project only to discover i got some bad settings dialed in haha
I appreciate your doing this. I'm a complete beginner. Just yesterday purchased the new, latest "Creator Edition " Go Pro 12 and also this very polarizing lens. Thanks, buddy...
It doesn't work on GoPro 12? Otherwise, it's definitely a great thing, but I can't imagine filming a two-hour video and adjusting the polarizing filter every minute. When filming a video, the scene changes every minute, after all.
Hey , no its not an nd filter. This one mostly removes reflection and glare from your footage. I eill be reviewing ND filters soon on my channel from freewell. If you need nd filters they basically are used to havr a cinematoc motion blur for photos and videos
I recently started doing driving videos with my Hero 10 but I'm getting annoying reflections recording behind my windshield. Hopefully this filter can help.
Will vouch for this, I just recently got the K&F Concept ND + CPL filters for driving during the day, plus a CPL-only filter for night driving, and it really helps with windshield glare. It’s not perfect, since you can’t really adjust it constantly to compensate for the changing angles as you drive around, but it definitely makes a difference.
I havent tested Telesin yet , freewell has a but warmer colours in white balance i think than without it but its something easily fixable while editing
I’m considering trying an ND filter, partially for just a little more motion blur but I’m also hoping to minimize the yellowing blue sky effect I got as the GoPro adjusted itself. So are you saying that in super bright conditions, the ND will temper the sky even more than no filter? I have a GP 11.

CPL is a must when we are fishing so that the glare from the water is filtered out. BUT does this freewell CPL filter work under water ?? I want to know if it is water sealed for use about 50cm under water.
Well it does have a seal but the company doesnt specify its waterproof , and doesnt recommend it Besides CPL.filter has no benefit underwater, it doesnt work below the surface
@@Tomasz.Nowacki I know that the function of the polarizer is not working under water, but to just make a short video under water is what I want to do. The sequence is mostly 30-40 seconds under water when we are releasing a fish or so. I have the exact filter that you are making a review of and know that there is a seal on the back, but then you have the rotating lens and I dont know if there is a sealing on that.
Curiosity, would there be a lens like this, a zoom lens?? I'm looking for help to increase the zoom of the Go Pro with the help of other lenses, could you tell me something so I can record video In the video itself, zoom in and out without having to stop the video, would you know anything?
It shkuldnt be used fpr scuba diving there is no need , as for the night , yes u cam use it to get rid of reflection but it gonna make the scene a bit darker
Hi I woul like to ask you, what was the gopro setting when did you do rotating shots of the temple or the lighthouse? When I am doing this my record is always lagging. Thank you
@@Tomasz.Nowacki o dzięki, prędzej tak spróbowałem i faktycznie działa. Muszę pobawić się z Podziałką ile kręcić ale widzę tylko trochę wystarczy 20% obrotu

cpl it not change color, but reduce reflection (polarised light :P) . It is very usefull filter in direct sunlight.

Then look for a cpl.filter that dorsnt need to be rotated :)
So is this an ND filter as well? It be too bright outside sometimes will it lower tha blown out parts of my footage? 😭😭😭😭😭

Most polarizing filters are also an approximately 2-Stop ND filter. It will change the exposure, but controlling glare is the polarizing effect.
Yes :) they slighly affect the exposure but they wont affect Hypersmooth stabilisation , you still get a smooth video using them
I recently started doing driving videos with my Hero 10 but I'm getting annoying reflections recording behind my windshield. Hopefully this filter can help.
Please look for either CPL or ND / CPL

El filtro CPL solo sirven para video o tambien para fotos
Umm u can use it for photo and video but I think in photo mode the lens gives such wide view that u will see different shades in the sky
this is interesting. . i tried telesin CPL clip on and it's not good, it will leave some weird shadow on your footage. .

Czy z filtrem ND można wchodzić z kamerą pod wodę? Czy kamera po odkręceniu oryginalnego obiektywu traci wałaściwości wodoszczelne?

I doubt there is a seal on tge rotating ring , one way or the other freewell doesnt recommend ysing this filter under water :/
@@Tomasz.Nowacki Yes I just read on their webpage that its not for use under water.
Yeah I did find out after I ordered it. So I cant actually use it.. @@seejayrun

There isnt a lens like that as far as i know , currebtly you could jist recordnin 5.3k and zoom in a little i guess its the only optipn
Is it possible to use it with the go pro bumper ?
Gopro.bumper ? Which avvesspry you mean exactly ? Media mod ?
Is it waterproof? Nice video

Does this cpl filter decrease hypersmooth in gopro while recording video without any gimbal?
I raised my iso to 400 and it was ok while testing but i onlt recorded simple walking , panning shots travel etc do not sure about shaky activites

Can you tell me exact time frame ???
should i consider this over the sandmarc?
I think sandmarc has a much bigger cpl filter than this one , they both produce same results though
2:25 or 2:40
Kupiłem, kręce pokrętłem ale nic się nie dzieje, nie ściemnia się bardziej.
Spojrz na filt pod odpowiednim kaet i pomrec , powinien sie delikatnie zaciemnic
