Hi, was planning to do that for my review....but I just ran one quick for you. Here is an image of what I am seeing....keep in mind that my Mac isn't "clean" so I have my files and everything on it....but here is what I got under 5GB of stress: Write = 3429 MB/s and Read 2,954 MB/s. That's almost identical to what I was getting from my Mac mini M2 pro. Now if you go onto other websites that are most likely showing results from a clean drive...they are seeing: 5,390 in read and 6,652 in write. I'm not an expert in this area....but my number is probably more "real world" of what you will see. Even if I lower to 1 GB of stress, I still don't get close to those numbers. Hope this helps.
I don't think it's an issue of clean drive, I think the entry level of these models (512gb) is one chip while the 1tb models are two chips which act as a kind of raid drive which doubles the speed
OMG yes....unless you are doing major video editing and CPU intensive stuff like that, I think you might be better off with the Mac mini M2 Pro (it's $1,299) and just came out in Jan 2023. So you would save yourself around $700....and if you need to travel with it for some reason, it's much more portable.
Sorry Tom. I don't have any issues when I play them on my computer or others play it. Maybe you don't have the volume slider up high enough inside the platform
It’s not that I can’t hear it, it’s the quality of your audio…..distant and echoing. I’m suggesting that it would improve the overall aesthetic of your otherwise quality video.
