Nice lightweight perforated fabric--the best for hot/humid running conditions.. I see T8 has a pretty simple line up of product and that's a good thing--a few good products. .
Thanks Brian, aye, they only do a small range of products, but as you say, better to do a few things well, rather than lots of things to a lesser standard 👍
That’s quite the hill but the trails and view from the top must make it all worthwhile. It’s great to see what a nice morning run looks like. Here in Vancouver we’re probably still a week or two away from mornings like that. Your vids & Strava are helping to keep me motivated 👍🏻 cheers. Oh yea, nice shorts too 😉 Wayne
It was a good steady up, the trails were nice to get on, though after seeing a big fat snake the day after on a road, I was then wary of hitting the trails again, being from the UK, we're pretty rubbish when it comes to big fat snakes 🤣 Good to see you still getting some distance in on Strava Wayne & aye, the shorts were ideal 😀
Great review, I also have the Sherpa shorts and love them for hot summer days. After your review I’m purchasing the Sherpa Ultra shorts for longer distance runs…thanks for your content. Cyprus looked great for running once you adapt to the heat of summer Mediterranean climate. Off note the T-8 Tees are fantastic as well, and you mentioned size up on Tees also.
Thanks for your comment, I'm sure you'll enjoy the shorts, they are definitely my go-to shorts for most of my runs now, even with the weather here now starting to turn cooler. I could do with another trip to Cyprus to get some warmer weather again ☀️
Hi Martin, thanks for the T8 ultra sherpa shorts review in Cyprus!!! Just wore my pair the past couple days doing a Kodiak 100K recon / recce in the San Bernadino mountains east of Los Angeles. Need to buy a few more pair, I think they'll become my go-to shorts for hot and humid weather. As usual, love your reviews that combine trail and studio footage.
Love your energy running uphill in that heat, Martin! Those T8 shorts seem like the perfect match for your epic runs. Plus, the scenery is just awesome! Keep those awesome reviews coming!
Beautiful place to run. I want to visit there someday. I have the T8 underwear which I use in the winter time with tights. I want to try those shorts. I think they have great quality. Thanks for the review. They had a 40% off sale last year. I wish I had bought some of the shorts. This is a good reminder for me to try them.
They stay firmly where you put them and don’t travel up at all, I’m finding them really handy using with a race vest as well, plenty of options for storage 👍
@@TheDeterminedRunner weird because I have heard of that and it sounded particularly awful. Storage is great though. Did you ever try the shorts alone?
Great review! I have heard positive things about T8. Now, I really want to try these. Thanks, Martin!
Thanks Jay, they're great for the hot weather, which you seem to get plenty of!☀️

I got my first running belt for my birthday recently, and that had the pull tabs on. Really handy.
Happy Birthday Mark, belts & shorts with belts in them are so handy, we don't always want to wear a race vest 🏃♂️

That’s dedication Martin, heading to Cyprus for some hot weather kit testing! 😂
🤣 It just so happened to tie in nicely with a family wedding, though travelling to exotic lands to make videos does sound appealing 😁

Thanks Mihai, the shorts were perfect for the hot weather, I just need the hot weather to come to Scotland now ☀️

Thanks, you need to keep an eye out for another sale Richard, they are a great option for shorts, very versatile & great in the heat 👍
Very cool video, could I know is the back pocket can put the water flask inside?
Thanks Kelvin, you can easily fit a 500ml soft flask in the back pocket 👍
Thought that looked a bit different to Aviemore.
Aye, slightly hotter than the 3 degrees that we have here at the moment!
What about the belt going um too high on the belly?

@@hrrrrrrr2084 no, either with the T8 Commando underwear or Runderwear
